My mother had been to two previous memory care facilities prior to coming to to Parc Provence. I am in no way putting down other facilities as I have seen firsthand how absolutely devastating Dementia and Alzheimer's is and the nurses, caretakers, and all employees that choose to care for these patients are incredible!!!!!! That being said, the caretakers, nurses and all staff members at Parc Provence are fiirst class all the way and second to none!!! Though my mother's time at Parc was only 6 months long, from day 1 the staff made mom feel comfortable, safe and loved each and every day she was there. Mom passed away earlier this month peacefully after a 4 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Thank you Parc Provence for helping our mother and our entire family with this journey. Sincerely Bill C

We had my mother in other facilities and the care was not great. We didn't move my mother to Parc Provence because of the memory care because that is not her main issue. My mom is in a wheel chair. Since we moved her to Parc Provence I never have to worry if she has been bathed, if her room is clean or if she has on clean clothes. My mom is never left sitting in her room all day by herself. She is always with people or in activities. I noticed a huge change in my mother's well being and attitude after we moved her to Parc Provence because she now has people that care about her, listen to her and talk to her. I would highly recomment Parc Provence to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

Outstanding community. Parc Provance was clearly built specifically for memory care purposes by professional who are experts in the condition. Meticulous housekeeping, live music twice a day, balanced meals and most importantly, compassionate staff who my mom says, "I love it here. These people will do anything to help." Think that sums it up! They had been in another community for exactly one year prior and the difference is remarkable in their care and quality of life. Sorry we didn't move them sooner. I've never seen a bad brochure, and often disappoint but this community is even better than the brochure. Every staff member who provides direct care to residents is licensed. That is also important in deeming competent and quality care. It's the best in memory care without any competition in my opinion and the US News & World Report memory care rankings.

Placed my mom in this beautiful facility just a little under a month ago and I cannot say enough positive things about the facility, the nursing staff and the activity staff. First, they made sure they placed her in a household where she would find friends and she has. She really enjoys them. Second, the activities keep her engaged and social and active. She loves all the music, chair yoga, etc. Third, and definitely not last, the nursing and maintenance staff have been very caring, attentive and friendly. She is a late to bed person and the nursing staff engage with her even after all the other residents are in bed. My mom is so much happier and absolutely loves everything about it and I am relaxed for the first time in 2 1/2 years knowing she is no longer bored or lonely and getting the very best care for her.

Used this facility for my father when his Alzheimer's started to progress. They have 3 units based on their needs. Level 1 I would rate 4.5 stars. My father was still high functioning. He participated in a lot of the activities. Level 2 I would give 3.9 stars. When my father was moved to this unit I realized they don't have enough staff to keep the residents engaged. It's at this level that each resident needs more care but there isn't enough staff to deliver that care. This unit is locked so residents don't wander the facility. Level 3 is downstairs and is a little chaotic. I give this unit 3.1 stars. Not enough care for the needs of every resident exists in this unit too. When you take the tour I recommend spending 15 minutes within each unit so you get the feel for the level of care each resident receives. I do like the level of security they have in place and how clean they keep every room.

We are pleased with the level of care our father receives from the warm, caring, and attentive staff at Parc Provence. The skilled nursing personnel are observant and react promptly and appropriately when issues arise.

The people there were so kind, sweet and funny and I had some great memories working there and taking care of the residents!

Best care in the area. Dad never had it so well!
November 2021
My mother is a resident at Parc Provence. While some of the staff is very caring and treats her with compassion, we have been unable to talk with anyone in management or administration about concerns. I will say they seem to have handled to pandemic relatively well and that is appreciated. We are not able to have a face to face meeting with her doctors to discuss medications. We were also pressured into moving her to the ROSE GARDEN area (which is supposed to be highest level of care, lower ratio of resident to staff) during lockdown. She has declined significantly, is now wheelchair bound completely. Her teeth are not brushed daily, and she frequently has food all over her clothes and wheelchair because although she cannot feed herself well, she is pushed up to a table with food and not given adequate help to eat. Most of the residents are usually parked in their wheelchairs in front of tv. When we were being "sold" this very expensive facility, we were told how much attention she'd get, how skilled they were with dementia care and how many activities she'd be participating in daily. This has not been our experience.

I can honestly say just based off currently working here the ENTIRE staff needs to be retrained in every department.

My mother has been at Parc Provence for 5 years and we have been consistently pleased with her care. The staff is attentive and any time we have a concern it is responded to immediately. I highly recommend this place.

Parc Provence provides the highest level of care and the best living environment of any retirement facility I have ever been to. Kathy, their Administrator, is the most caring and dedicated leader I have met. Her devotion and values are reflected in her staff. Everyone is friendly and they provide exquisite service. They have taken senior care to the next level.

I have a loved one at Parc Provence. When I come to visit all of the staff are so friendly. My loved one is always out in group activities, actively engaged with the other residents. I have just a wonderful feeling when I leave knowning my loved one is always taken care of. Thank you parc.
December 2016
Very nice place. There is nothing wrong with the facility or treatment, but they have, it seems, a narrow target for residents. In my opinion they seem to target older rich white families. I did not feel much diversity or inclusion as I walked around. This goes similarly in their staff. The higher roles seem predominately older and white. I've heard rumors of race discrimination in hiring practices and promotions. Therefore, I personally would not recommend staying here unless you are fit for that sort of culture. These opinions are based on observations made about a year ago.
