I have always been very impressed with Gambrill Gardens. Every member of the staff are to be commended for their hard work and their goal of ensuring the happiness and safety of each resident. There are so many wonderful programs available, should we choose to use them. There are parties, karoke, bbqs, health fairs, exercise classes and a movie theatre. Gambrill is clean and beautiful with so many open areas to get together with other residents. Apartments are very spacious. The maintenance staff are on-site and quick to respond.

My mom has lived at Gambrill for about 18 months now, and she has absolutely thrived! It's a wonderful community with much to offer residents who choose to make the most of living there. My mom has made many friends and is always busy doing something. Better yet, she is able to enjoy this community in spite of her low income thanks to the HUD program, and she is in a much better situation here than she was previously. We have since recommended this to a friend's dad, who moved in a few months ago and really likes it. And we are moving my mother-in-law here later this summer. We have been so pleased with our loved ones' experiences with this amazing facility, and we are so glad to know our family is safe, happy, well-loved and valued, all in a place just a few minutes' drive from our home.

I’ve lived at Gambrill Gardens for six months now, and I’m quite satisfied with my decision to move here. The staff is excellent, quite accommodating, and do their best to meet our needs. Meals are excellent, featuring quality food in a good quantity, excellent! Exercise classes, Bocce, art projects, transportation plus day trips, Happy Hour, Karaoke and cookouts, Billiards and Bridge are just a few of the activities we enjoy - along with various religious accommodations - Gambrill does a great job of providing. Oh, Gambrill does a great job of keeping the facilities clean, updated, and safe. I’m very happy here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a move. (My dog is happy here too.)

I moved my mom to Gambrill Gardens two months ago, and I’ve been really happy with how things have been going. Changes are difficult even under the best of circumstances, but as many COVID restraints were still in place when she moved, the transition was especially challenging for us. What I would say is that Gambrill Gardens’ staff, from day 1, went the extra mile to help my mom adjust to her new living space and lifestyle. And when I say staff, I mean everyone, including the executive director of the property, who, if you pop in occasionally as I do, you’ll undoubtedly find pitching in to help with even the most mundane tasks. The leasing director continued to take an active interest in my mom’s transition, even after all was signed and sealed. The front desk and dining staff continue to assist my mom as she needs it, and the fitness trainer has actually motivated my mom to the point where I believe she’s more active than she’s been in years — actually looking forward to fitness sessions (an unexpected bonus, for sure). Finally, there are the grounds, which are beautiful and quiet, and I think a real plus over some of the other senior apartment complexes in the area. There’s a lot of open space filled with green grass, and Gambrill just pumped a lot of money into landscaping to make the place look even better than it did when we moved in. All in all, I have to say this has been a great experience to date, and I definitely think we chose the right place for my mom.

My grandma has lived there for a few years now, and she's never had a problem! They keep her happy! They are always courteous, answer any questions that I have, and always willing to go the extra mile, especially during the current pandemic. They really seem to take good care of their residents and look out for their best interests which is all that matters to me when it comes to my grandma!

Gambrill Gardens appeared to be the perfect fit for my mother less than 9 months ago. It checked all the boxes. Needless to say I’m moving my mother after 10 months. Lack of service’s, lack of housekeeping for 5 months, food delivery’s not right to the apartments, lack of management to care for so many older residents. Disgraceful!!!! Bottom line. Buyer beware. What appears nice and caring not so much. Can’t wait to ensure my mother’s care at another place.

I visited this property last year after the bistro opened. The residents dining around me were friendly and we all enjoyed the food. The grounds are beautifully kept; the indoor renovations are absolutely stunning. Clean facility with new furniture throughout the areas I visited. Its a wonderful place for a loved one to be part of caring community of sweet seniors. The friendly staff are committed to making each resident feel at home. I highly recommend visiting this property!!

Beautifully furnished common areas, spacious rooms. Entertainment provided, activities and transportation. Wonderful, caring staff. A beauty salon. A little food market. HUD assistance makes it affordable. Happy residents. This place has everything.
