My mother is a new resident at The Township Senior Living in independent living. After only 3 weeks, I can see how much more relaxed and stress free she has become. She's seems very happy there. I truly believe this was a good move for her. The facility is great with many activities to join in. Three meals a day, and wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. The apartments are well kept and quite spacious, and provide all appliances and utilities. The Township far exceeded my expectations.

I enjoy using the pool at Township on the weekends. In midweek, management closed the pool for minor repairs. I called the main receptionist in the independent living section to make sure the pool was open. The receptionist was new and of Asian descent. I'm retired from 25 years of a state agency, where I was considered a senior human resources specialist. The new receptionist was quite adamant that the pool was not open. I explained I have numerous times swam in the pool on weekends. The receptionist for the 3rd time she adamantly told me the pool was not open. I asked her if a member of management was close, she said Emily was there. I asked to talk with Emily,which I did. I informed Emily of my request. She handled the situation very well. She went and checked on the pool, and informed me that I could use it. I understand the new receptionist, is an oriental and not accustomed to asking questions and just continuously (3 times) saying "no" which was how she behaved. Emily represented the Township very well, and demonstrated a good customer relations attitude.

In my line of work, I have never seen such a nice assisted living facility as the Township, and I have visited many. It’s clean, feels like a fancy apartment complex. The dining options are great. Does not feel like a healthcare facility. It feels like home. They also have a strong activities department for the residents.

Absolutely awesome place. Mom loves living here. Every single staff member is a rockstar!!! UPDATE: Mom passed away June 2nd. The staff of the Assisted Living community couldn't have been more tender and caring. Mom particularly was fond of Tasha and Justin; those wonderful care partners even took their breaks in mom's room so she could hear their voices. I've never seen such caring, nurturing, courteous, and special people in my life! Thank you all for making mom's final months and days so peaceful and beautiful.

I continue to be impressed by the care team at The Township. They are incredibly consistent in providing exceptional care for their residents across the community. Their memory care team, in particular, stands out for their compassion, patience, attentiveness and deep understanding of the unique needs of those living with dementia. The leadership within this unit reflects a true passion for serving those living with dementia and it shows in every interaction. This is also one of the few memory care units who is willing to accept male residents. Everyone at The Township is warm, welcoming and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of those they serve. Families can feel confident knowing their loved ones will be supported by a care team that genuinely cares and understands how to care for and nurture some of the most vulnerable.

My mom has been a resident in the Memory Care section of The Township Senior Living Center for almost two and half years. Beth, the director and her staff have done a tremendous job in helping my mom with her myriad of dementia challenges. My mother has been in memory care at the Township for about a year and she loves it there and I do too. The staff is so friendly and know just what to say and do to keep my mother happy and comfortable. It’s a relief to know that mom is so well taken care of. Beth, the Director, Tina, Sarah, and Amber just to name a few are so positive. Nurses are there staying on top of the meds and ready for emergencies . The director is excellent, keeping the Township ship shape, and helping the residence with a variety of activities. Not to mention the chefs that work hard each day for great meals and snacks. My mother in law has lived at Township Senior Living in Battlefield MO since August 2019. We initially moved her into the independent apartments but quickly realized she would be better served in the assisted living due to the onset of dementia. However, the assisted living side was not open yet. Construction wouldn't be complete until October.The amazing staff checked on her several times throughout the day until her assisted living apartment was ready. There aren't enough words to describe our appreciation for the compassion and quality of care she receives. We visit several times a week and often there is a staff member visiting with her or caring for her in her room or taking her to an activity. We are always greeted with a smile and kind words. Covid was a difficult time for everyone, especially the healthcare industry. But the staff at The Township didn't seem to blink an eye. We never noticed a decline in Doris' care. In fact, I think they doted on her even more, knowing we couldn't see her as much. The atmosphere at the Township is unlike any other nursing facility I have been in. It is a beautifully decorated, fresh environment that feels like home. And the food, wow! It puts our minds at ease knowing Doris is well cared for and comfortable. Thank you Township!

The team at the Township Memory Care love my mom as their own. They are truly amazing people! In our private FB group, my mom is constantly smiling, dancing and singing as well as telling her corny jokes. They keep her challenged mentally and also focus on her physical and emotional well being. This has been challenging year for everyone and I could not imagine her being anywhere else with their compassion and passion in caring for their memory care patients. Our mother has been a resident in Memory Care for the last 11 months. The Director (Elizabeth) and her team of care givers are absolutely amazing. They treat the residents with such care and compassion and act as if the residents are their own personal family members. We do not know what we would have done if Mom had been anywhere else during the Covid lockdown. We never worried for one moment that Mom was receiving the best care in every way. Great people. Great communication. Great food and activities. Beautiful facility. They have a private FB page where they post pics so that we can see our loved ones enjoying life. Best place in the 417 for Memory Care!

The Township has been a wonderful place for my grandpa to live! Since We live out of state it is reassuring knowing he is happy and in a home where he has help if and when he needs it! He has daily activities he can participate in and likes the outings, happy hour and having staff and other residents to visit with. Since he has a hard time seeing help with house keeping is fantastic. I can tell a huge difference in Grandpa when we talk. He sounds happy again and isn't lonely anymore. The Township has been able to provide everything Grandpa needs to be able to enjoy life again!

I am not one to write reviews. Yet when people exceed my expectations, it then becomes my responsibility. Many people sell the virtues of what they represent, very few represent the morales and compassion that I hope to uphold. We, when looking for care for my family contacted 13 facilities ( 12 having vacancies) our first conversation with Mindy Yates was amazing! She said she would help us even if it wasn’t at The Township..that was genuine compassion. She assisted us with every step needed ( far exceeding her job title). Getting all the paperwork, coordinating the move, setting up their room ( to look exactly like their HOME). Assisting with their diet and gastronomical desires...amazing. The room is perfect...the food is awesome (you dine...you don’t eat) the treatment is of love and compassion...not like being in a facility or home...it is like having a concierge 24/7. If you just want a place for your loved ones...DONT choose the Township...if you want a home for them that provides everything ...including keeping you updated...THIS IS THE PLACE...the compassion ..care..love, respect and dignity...is the standard they afford, and the bar is set for others to emulate...I am forever in you debt for what you have done and what you will always do....THANK YOU

I needed to find a place in Memory Care for my mother. During Covid-19 this was no easy task. I was blessed to work with Mindy Yates. While circumstances changed when my mom fell and ended up in rehab, Mindy was still there for us. She was amazing to work with and so incredibly compassionate.
