Without a doubt, I love this place and the staff. In mid September my 93 year old Mother moved to Southview because she was at a point in her life where she needed extra care. She was still able to take her meds, shower her self, etc. Two months later she was hospitalized for a few days. Nothing was found and she went back to Southview. Unfortunately, she had 5 more hospital stays between November and January. With every hospitalization, she became more confused and unable to take care of herself. She needed to be put in hospice care. We thought we would have to move her to a skilled nursing facility but the staff at Southview brought her back, gave her extra care, hospice visited her, and she passed away peacefully without having to be moved from the facility she already had been Living. We are grateful for every day Mom lived there.

I have worked at this facility for 7+ years, I have bonded with my residents and they have become like my extended family. This is what it’s really all about when working in this field and I feel like this facility made it all worth it. Recently lost my job here and would give anything to be able to go back there and try again and show that I have had nothing but good intentions for those wonderful people that I was so blessed to care for for so many years.

My sister was having a very hard time leaving her house and garden and reluctant to move into assisted living. We both shed tears but I knew it was best. The first two months were rough adjusting but now she tells me every time we are together how much she LOVES it at Southview and that all the people are WONDERFUL! I have to pinch myself sometimes to see if Im dreaming!!!

I have worked with Jenny Murie, Sales Director, for about 2 1-2 years. She is a very dedicated and passionate about her residents. I was invited to several events held at Southview Assisted Living and Memory Care. Jenny contacts me when she has residents who need a little more one on one attention. I also contact her when I am aware of someone in the community who is looking for an assisted living. Southview is a beautiful community and due to Jennys direction, the residents have the opportunity to live in a comfortable home away from home.

Needed to place my Mom into Memory Care after a stroke. Couldn't be more happy with the choice I made in placing her into Southview. From the front office staff to the R.N.'s and especially the caring dedicated patient care techs have nothing but praise for all! Everyone there seems so engaged from the staff to the residents like a true community. The place is kept clean the residents are able to furnish and decorate their own little apartments. I have stayed for a meal or two and was surprised how delicious. It's a very difficult time in a child's life to have to do this to a parent. Be assured that you will at the end of a visit, feel confident that your loved one is treated with dignity and compassion and above all safe. I know I am.

My 95 year old mother just stayed at this facility for several months under Respite care and today she returned home after being gone from home for over 3 months. The care, attention and most importantly, the genuine love shown my mother was nothing less than remarkable! She loved the facility; it was full of life, staff incredibly friendly and the food was great, especially the tomato bisque soup! Michelle from Physical Therapy pushed mom back to good physical health and Anastasia from Occupational Therapy did likewise to make sure moms return home would be productive. They adopted Mom as a family member and for that, my Mom and my entire family will be forever grateful! They gave us a gift of good health for my mom and I would recommend anyone, if they have a loved one that needs respite care or a facility with assisted living to seriously consider the Southview facility. Any questions or issues are promptly responded to by Lynn Stromsdorfer, the Executive Operations officer or her staff. Could not be a happier customer! These are people that you can put your complete faith in!

I have both a professional and personal relationship with Southview assisted living. Its always a pleasure working with Jenny and Jamie in admissions-liaison. I am confident that my Grandmother is taken care of at Southview. Its always fun visiting her with my son, he gets all the attention from the residents. Such a wonderful place to bring your loved one. Their sister facility Crestview is also a great place.

My mother has been in Assisted Living since 2008. She relocated to Stoney Brook of Belton in November 2015. She loves the facility. The staff have been attentive to her needs, they show true concerns for the well being of all residents. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access.

Beautiful facility and it seems clean and well-kept. It even has a nice little movie theater room. However, I have heard a few complaints about the cliques the workers seem to be in, and how it negatively affects the quality of care.

My mom passed away in 2012 and my dad had been living alone until last fall. With much resistance we got him into Arbor House last fall. This year has been wonderful. He has made friends with a good group of men and even has a lady friend. He loves the staff and enjoys getting to have a driver take him around on his errands. Great place for anyone that's looking for help with aging loved ones.

My Mother lived at Southview in one of the apartments in the assisted living care - Without a doubt, the staff treated her with utmost respect, love and compassion, and looked after her as truly "one of their own". My family and I were very grateful to Southview, starting with managerial staff and right down to the medical aides etc. As a result my Mother felt very secure under their loving care. In addition, the planned activities that were conducted for the residents were very good and provided interaction with the other residents - Definitely a "hands on" facility - Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Southview to anyone as the "premier" facility of its kind.

My mom is SO happy at Southview in the Memory Care unit. We love the nurses, activities directors, cooks and all of the employees and management. My Mom moved to Southview a year ago after rehabing a broken hip. I was and still am very impressed with Southview and the staff there. I never leave Mom feeling guilty about where we put her. She is well taken care of in an immaculate place with her own room and bathroom. I visit a lot and am always impressed with the staffs attitude and loving ways. Even the kitchen crew say Hello and have smiles on there faces. Im so glad that Mom has activities to do and outside rides to take. I would recommend Southview without reservation to anyone looking for a wonderful place to put their loved one!

We really enjoyed the tour of this community. The staff was nice and showed us around. We just felt that this was not the right place. The activities that they had did not fit mom and the community was a lot smaller . However, all was nice and it was well lite.

Both of my parents moved to Brookdale Rock Springs when they became unable to care for themselves at home. We hired caregivers to assist them (at home) but that turned out to be more hassle than benefit. At Brookdale, I didnt have to worry about them getting 3 meals a day, the correct medication, and 24/7 nurse on premises. My brother and I visited often and got to know the staff as well as other residents. When Dad passed away, it was so comforting to have all of these folks as a support team for not only Mom but for our entire family. The staff are hard workers, and they really care about keeping the residents healthy, happy, and active. Majority of staff have been at Brookdale for many years, which tells you a lot about the company and local management. If I had to say something negative about Brookdale, it would be that I wish Mom and Dad would have moved there at least 6 months before they did. We waited until they were both too feeble to reap the benefits of Brookdale. I feel they both could have lived longer had they had the quality of care that they got at Brookdale.

My mom lives at Southview, one of the original tenants, she absolutely loves it there and loves the staff. I am confident she is getting the care she needs and will continue to get it throughout the progression of her Alzheimer's path.
