Every day it seems like you can make a new friend. The residents are so friendly and helpful. This place had everything (church, meals, tons of activities, so many things) we needed and more for our parents without them having to leave the building. Highly recommend!

My wife and I moved to The Glenn Hopkins about two months ago and we are extremely happy with our decision and glad to have gotten the type of apartment we had wanted from the first time we toured the facility some months ago. It is roomy, well appointed, and has a magnificent view. But this is not the only reason we are so pleased with our move. To start with, the administrative personnel and the maintenance staff are superb; they are pleasant and helpful, with a positive can-do attitude that has made our adjustment to a new environment very easy. The residents are friendly and welcoming, and in the relatively short time we have been here we have enjoyed meeting many interesting people and forged new friendships. The location of The Glenn couldn’t be better. It is in an urban area, close to downtown Hopkins and minutes away from Edina and Eden Prairie, which puts it near excellent shopping venues, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. However, it is set in an open nature area with beautiful grounds, a nice pond, walking trails, and a stunning view of the surroundings. Even though we like cooking, we have occasionally eaten in the full-service dining room and appreciated the excellent menus it offers at a very reasonable price. We have also enjoyed participating in many of the multiple daily activities that cover a wide range of interests, as well as attending religious services and activities offered by The Glenn’s full-time pastoral care team. These include a daily Mass in the chapel, which is open 24 hours a day, and other religious activities geared not only to Roman Catholic residents, but also to people of other faiths. In summary, we are extremely happy to have made The Glenn our new home and it helps us look to the future with confidence and peace of mind.

I chose The Glenn Hopkins for its location with ponds, walking trails and easy access to shopping and event venues. The staff is fantastic - always responsive and caring. The Dining/Kitchen staff has changed in the past year and the food is very good (soup is highly recommended). The best part of living here is the friendly residents - numerous and varied activities, the Coffee Nook and Lobby are great conversation areas.

From the moment I walked in the door for a tour I was greeted by residents asking if I was looking to live here. Their smiles were warm and inviting. My daughters did a separate tour and their impressions were positive and encouraging. My questions were answered clearly and detailed. There was no pressure. What I saw was a clean, comfortable, open and inclusive environment that offered many opportunities and activities that were available for me. This was the best decision I have made in a long time!

Since moving to the Glenn Hopkins six months ago, I have benefited by meeting many lovely new friends; attending Mass and visiting the chapel for quiet prayer; becoming an evening dining room hostess; being an ambassador, welcoming new residents, and learning to play 500. All the while, since I still drive, I’ve been able to maintain vital ties to my parish community and commitments. In addition, I have the assurance of a safetynet should I ever need more help. It’s been a great move!

My parents stayed at the Glen for a short term rental. The entire staff is unbelievable (especially Scott, Chrysauna and Paula)! Even though it was a short term rental they were treated like royalty. I can't tell you how wonderful it was for my parents. Besides great staff, the food was good, beautiful landscape, very clean facility and lots of activities/trips. I will not hesitant to recommend The Glen for anyone!

WOW! We couldn't say more wonderful things about this place. They were fabulous with Dad from independent living to memory care. The staff is so loving, caring, flexible and always open to discussions about his care and needs. We didn't worry while we were at work. We got hugs when he passed. He was not Catholic. His grand dog visited a couple times a week. From the front desk staff, the doctors, nurses, aids, laundry and housekeeping, we love you and will miss seeing you daily.

We visited this place around the end of October to have our kids visit the elderly. They light up and the kids get tons of compliments. As far as staff, they seem friendly and the building is clean.

Change is difficult for anyone. Think of change for an 84 year old mother of six starting to slow down. The unknown can create anxiety and indecision and was so for our mother. We wished only the best for our mother, a widow for several years living independently, driving, and attending mass daily. As we searched for an alternative support system, The Glenn quickly reached the top our of list. Why, everyone we encountered was extremely informative, no pressure and offered alternatives depending on the needs of our mother. There were options for independent living, a higher level of 24x7 care and even a furnished apartment on an immediate basis in the case of an chance of care need. For a minimum fee we signed up knowing we had alternatives for our mom. It turned out our mom required the immediate need of the apartment. The Glenn was there for us, welcoming our mom, supporting her for the first 3 days to orient her to her new surroundings. Over the last two months she has gained her strength back, is extremely positive, has met many new friends, attends mass daily and participates regularly in planned activities. Frankly when we call her apartment, she is never there. Next week she moves into her own apartment and she is ready and happy to make this permanent transition to her new home. Thank you The Glenn for creating a positive and personal transition for our mom.

My mother has lived at the Glenn in Hopkins for the past 11 years. It has been a wonderful experience for her and our family. The staff has always been very kind and helpful. This was especially true when we had a family emergency and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate our needs to help transition my aunt to The Glenn. Our questions are answered and calls are returned quickly. The additional feature of daily Mass in the on-site chapel has been so wonderful for my mother. We are so happy to have found The Glenn.
