I would like to commend the staff at the Glenn Hopkins for being so receptive to a request I made today. Andrea Bocelli is streaming a concert on Easter Sunday. This is something many residents at the Glenn Hopkins might enjoy. My mother and maybe others at the Glenn Hopkins might not be technologically savvy and would have missed out and during this time of social distancing might have felt even more isolated. I contacted the Glenns Jen Zinnel about this. She got right on it and I heard back from her and Dana Peterson that they have worked to get it to stream on their channel 992 Sunday at 12:00pmCT and are letting the residents know. They were receptive, quick and efficient and did a great service to help residents feel connected at this time. Our family is very appreciative.♥ Thank you for all you do! My parents stayed at the Glen for a short term rental. The entire staff is unbelievable (especially Scott, Chrysauna and Paula)! Even though it was a short term rental they were treated like royalty. I can't tell you how wonderful it was for my parents. Besides great staff, the food was good, beautiful landscape, very clean facility and lots of activities/trips. I will not hesitant to recommend The Glen for anyone!

Our dad was a resident at The Glenn for several years. The staff brought friendship, comfort and expertise to our family and our dad, Bob. Everyone knew his name and that filled our hearts with gratitude. This community truly allows seniors to explore new friendships and activities. Highlights included going to the Twins game at the new stadium, and sitting on the beautiful patio watching with wildlife with his grandchildren, but the daily building of friendships gave our dad the feeling of home each day. He told his children many times, "Please do no make me leave this place. This is my home." And it was!

WOW! We couldnt say more wonderful things about this place. They were fabulous with Dad from independent living to memory care. The staff is so loving, caring, flexible and always open to discussions about his care and needs. We didnt worry while we were at work. We got hugs when he passed. He was not Catholic. His grand dog visited a couple times a week. From the front desk staff, the doctors, nurses, aids, laundry and housekeeping, we love you and will miss seeing you daily.

I cannot say enough about this community. My mom was recently hospitalized for a couple of days for pneumonia, and was released to my care until we felt she was well enough to stay alone. After a week of being gone, it was time to bring her home and she wasn’t happy. Yet, when we walked off the elevator this afternoon, 2 of the aides on her floor saw her and came running down the hall calling out her name, and gave her the biggest hug you can imagine. They went on to say how much they missed her and loved her, and how happy she was home. We both got emotional. ??. There are no coincidences and I believe this was a well choreographed act of God. I was able to leave knowing she would be well cared for. ???

We recently moved my dad from across the country to MN so he could be close to family. It started out as a one-month temporary stay which he extended twice and then decided to move permanently. We are just thrilled that he loves it there so much! There are always people to talk and dine with and the staff, especially Lisa, have been incredibly patient and flexible. I cannot imagine a better place and am so grateful for his wonderful experience at The Glenn. He is healthier and happier, and my sisters and I are glad that he has easy access to so many services. I highly recommend this community!

The building as a whole is so beautiful and clean and the staff are so helpful. The residents are very personable and it feels like your right at home after walking into The Towers of The Glenn Hopkins. My mother lived in the Towers for seven years. She enjoyed the activities and made close friendships with two other residents. They went to Mass, dinner and activities together. The staff were very kind and focused on her interests. My mother is an avid bird watcher. The staff and other residents organized a small, charming garden near the patio with plants and bird feeders where residents could bird watch. As my mother's needs increased, the staff worked closely with me to add services in order to keep her life safe and happy. The aides who workrked with her paid attention to her needs and preferences and always communicated with me the ways we could best support her. The nursing staff was always alert and followed her needs closely. I greatly appreciated their steady communication with me. When my mother moved to memory care, I depended on the support and the expertise of the the staff. The aides who care for my mother are very attentive and have arranged for phone calls with mother every day. I can tell her what is scheduled, when I will visit and what will happen each day. The entire staff responds quickly to my calls and is always responsive.

My mother lived at The Glenn-Hopkins for just over four years. We visited about a dozen different senior living arrangements before we made our choice. Besides the very pleasant surroundings, the primary reason we chose The Glenn was Mom’s ability to attend daily mass. She started in an independent apartment and as her needs changed she moved into assisted living and finally into memory care. I found the staff to be very attentive in each of these living arrangements. They kept me informed and provided guidance as Mom’s needs changed. I always felt good about choosing The Glenn as the staff would call her by name, knew what she liked and didn’t like, kept her involved in their many activities, and made sure she attended mass every day. While everyone’s situation is different, if your financial situation allows, I highly recommend The Glenn-Hopkins.

My mother has lived at the Glenn in Hopkins for the past 11 years. It has been a wonderful experience for her and our family. The staff has always been very kind and helpful. This was especially true when we had a family emergency and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate our needs to help transition my aunt to The Glenn.Our questions are answered and calls are returned quickly. The additional feature of daily Mass in the on-site chapel has been so wonderful for my mother. We are so happy to have found The Glenn.

Change is difficult for anyone. Think of change for an 84 year old mother of six starting to slow down. The unknown can create anxiety and indecision and was so for our mother. We wished only the best for our mother, a widow for several years living independently, driving, and attending mass daily. As we searched for an alternative support system, The Glenn quickly reached the top our of list. Why, everyone we encountered was extremely informative, no pressure and offered alternatives depending on the needs of our mother. There were options for independent living, a higher level of 24x7 care and even a furnished apartment on an immediate basis in the case of an chance of care need. For a minimum fee we signed up knowing we had alternatives for our mom. It turned out our mom required the immediate need of the apartment. The Glenn was there for us, welcoming our mom, supporting her for the first 3 days to orient her to her new surroundings. Over the last two months she has gained her strength back, is extremely positive, has met many new friends, attends mass daily and participates regularly in planned activities. Frankly when we call her apartment, she is never there. Next week she moves into her own apartment and she is ready and happy to make this permanent transition to her new home. Thank you The Glenn for creating a positive and personal transition for our mom.

We will celebrate Mother's 4th year of residence in The Towers at St. Therese Southwest. She moved there from Arizona, also the Southwest, to be closer to her "kids" (us). She's been so happy there. The staff is extraordinarily attentive, efficient, engaging and noticeably dedicated to helping all residents feel comfortably independent. There are many activities and amenities, enough to keep our mother quite happily busy. Never in her "former life" had she had the opportunity to get her hair done every week just by taking an elevator two floors up, never having to go outside. I am the daughter who lives a flight (or two) away, and I love visiting Mom and her new friends. I consider them some of MY friends now. I highly recommend St. Therese Southwest to anyone looking for wonderful, independent senior living.

The Terraces just seemed to suit my parents' needs. So far, we're happy with it. It's nice to know that they're in a place and they have their three meals a day. If they need help at night, they can ring the button and they'll be there. They have activities there, but they haven't been able to do too much because they've got so many people coming in to give occupational therapy and physical therapy. The room they have is very nice. They were very accommodating for whatever they needed. They've had their apartment cleaned only once, so it seemed to be adequate. I had them do a little extra and they didn't mind doing that. I was satisfied.

My mother is in the Terraces. We have good experience there. I think they treat the residents nicely. They have a 24-hour nurse and I am satisfied with the type of caring she is getting. The amount of services they can offer someone impresses me. They have a lot of services and social activities. My mother is in a one-bedroom apartment, which I think is small. It is like a size of a single apartment in California divided into two. The food seems like small portions but my mother is gaining weight since she move there. However, it is very expensive and I will recommend it to others as long as they can afford it.
