Northpoint was an exceptional home for my mother when it was time for her to move and receive more care. She entered with minimal care needs, and gradually those needs increased. Anna, the director, personally helped us every step of the way. It’s the people who work and reside there that make Northpoint an amazing place. Chris, the concierge manager, was always cheerful and eased my mom’s anxiety on a daily basis. The girls from Quality Private Care got to know my mother, and treated her with respect and dignity. I could go on and on, but will end by saying the staff cared for my mother until the end of her life, and I feel grateful and blessed we found Northpoint of Utica.

The best thing we ever did was move my mom into Northpointe She was so happy, always busy with activities, and made so many wonderful friends ( with other residents as well as all the staff) She was able to have her dog live with her also! Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. There are activities all day long, the food (all 3 meals) are fantastic, and every single staff member including the owners take their time to get to know you and your family. I recommend Northpointe to everyone I know who is looking for independent living for their parents.

We moved my grandfather into North Point a couple months ago. It was a smooth transition, and Jen was so helpful in providing all the information we needed. Out of all of the places we considered, North Point had the friendliest residents and staff! Everyone greets you when you walk by and engages with small talk. I think that the happiness and friendliness of the residents speaks to how well they enjoy living there!

Northpoint is a wonder. My grandma is so happy there! It is owned by a family so they are the most welcoming people and really run a great community like environment! It is always clean, the food is good, and the staff is on their toes 24/7. I have to say that any tenant that I have met there, that my grandma knows, just absolutely loves the place. I have never heard anything bad or negative. It really is a wonderful place for your loved ones to go to when it’s time for them to have an easier living situation! We moved my mother in law in there in August. She honestly says she wished she would have moved there years before. The staff is amazing and truly treat you like family. The food is so good, I actually love being there around dinner time and eating with her. It’s been a 9 months since my parents have moved into their apartment. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and all of the amenities. Northpoint has a great menu (we’ve joined them many times for dinner ), wonderful activities and a comfortable atmosphere for all of the residents and their guests. Also, equally important, Northpoints building is one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. From top to bottom, this place is great!!!! I am so happy that my parents are able to relax and enjoy life.

After searching and looking at lots of senior living facilities the search was over when we came to Northpointe Village of Utica. It felt like home to our mom when we walked through the doors everything and everyone was so inviting. The staff are the kindest people and genuinely care for your love one. The meds techs are awesome and took excellent care of our diabetic mom. They take pride in daily activities, and the people living there truly are part of their family and love to interact with staff also dining area staff are excellent and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend Northpointe to anyone who is looking for a warm inviting atmosphere for their loved one with caring people to support them in there senior years.

We spent months looking for a suitable place to place our mom. We cannot say enough good things about Northpoint. The staff became family to us. The food was excellent. Our mom made so many new friends as did we during our regular visits. Our mom passed this past June but not a day goes by that I don’t think of her last years of life being in such a great place with so many new friends and her new Northpoint family. We refer every one of our friends to Northpoint for their loved ones. God bless you all.

Northpoint Village Of Utica is by far the best place that we could have placed my parents in for senior living. After an exhaustive tour of many facilities, we decided that this excellent, very clean, safe, and wonderful community of seniors was the best fit for mom and dad. From the ownership and management, down to all the staff members, they take a personal and caring interest in your loved ones’ well-being and are very accommodating to their specific needs. From my parents and my experiences with Northpoint, they have become our Extended Family. My mom and dad are very old school and didn't want to leave their beautiful home, but eventually realized that it was too much for dad to take care of my mom (suffering from many health issues) and himself. So very grudgingly they both decided to move into Northpoint. Unfortunately, my mom has since passed away, but my dad has now been living there for almost 3 years and couldn't be happier. From my regular visits and daily phone calls to check in on him, all he ever says to me is how wonderful he is treated there. He raves of the excellent food, services by caring staff, and very clean and safe environment. He also enjoys the decorations for the different seasons and holidays. It makes him feel right at home. I witness it myself every time I visit him. That means the world to me because I rest easy knowing that he is being very well taken care of. If dad or I ever have a question or concern, say like scheduling a haircut, or other appointment for any other services offered by Northpoint, he or I can either stop by or call the front desk or email them, and they always promptly respond. To sum this review up, Thank You Very Much! and Dad and I highly recommend Northpoint Village Of Utica.

My mother has been living at Northpoint for about 8 years now. I can't say enough about the facility and the folks that operate it. It's smaller and more able to provide personal attention to their guests than some of the larger, corporate senior living facilities. Their dedication to providing a clean environment with many fun activities and healthy, tasty meals is consistent. All of the staff is friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they do. Services range for folks that are completely independent to those that need a higher level of care. I'm so grateful that we found Northpoint for my mom. It has given her and her family a lot of relief knowing that she is in good hands. If you are considering Northpoint for a loved one, you won't be disappointed.

Our grandmother and mother lived at Northpoint Village of Utica for over 10 years due to medical reasons. Our grandmother was on the first floor, and our mother was on the fourth floor. They treated our entire family, not just our grandmother and mother, like their family. We are so appreciate and forever grateful for everything they did for our family members. We always knew they were safe, and well loved by their extended family. Rosemary, Lisa, Chrystal, Rosa, Enza, and Jose would go out of their way at any point in time to assist with anything our family members needed. When your family members are there for over 10 years, you are going to have some issues. What is essential is that the management and staff at Northpoint worked with our family until the issues were resolved. Their follow-up is impeccable! Northpoint was truly a HOME for our grandmother and mother, and we could not have found a better one for our family members to have lived out their golden years. THANK YOU NORTHPOINT!!!

My mom has lived at Northpoint Village for about 5 years now. At first, she didn’t want to leave her condo. As soon as we went on that initial tour, she was ready to move in and she did!! She loves the socialization and activities, especially BINGO! The great thing is she can do as much as she wants, but if she wants some down, she can watch tv, read, or relax in her own apartment. Then Covid hit, the staff and management did a great job keeping everyone safe yet still bringing what they could (happy hour, friendly faces (masked) to the residents! Now that most people have had their vaccines, activities are continuing (with safe guidelines in place) and we are all so happy! I thank everyone at Northpoint for all that they do for my mom and all the residents and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place like this for themselves or a loved one!

My Mom has been living at Northpoint Village for four years. She was very reluctant to leave her condo and was upset at first. But after a few months she admitted it was the absolute best move she could have made. She has her own spacious apartment with a full kitchen so she still has her independence. With company and activities right outside her door when she wants it. But the most important thing about Northpoint is the staff. They really make Mom feel like family. They have done an amazing job keeping the residents entertained and distracted from the limitations during the pandemic, tested them weekly, and got them vaccinated. They provided care whenever she returned from the hospital, which is enormous peace of mind for my brothers and me. Chrystal, Lisa, Chris, and Enza have all personally gone out of their way to help Mom stay safe and cared for. I can't recommend Northpoint more highly.

We moved my husbands mom and dad into Northpoint in 2016. Unfortunately my father-in law passed away soon after. We were worried about mom because she was in a new place, all alone. The staff couldn’t have been more wonderful. Everyone was friendly and treated mom like family. Most of the staff knows the residents by name and go above and beyond to make the residents feel at home. Chris and Suzanne at the front desk are amazing with the residents. The building is always clean and welcoming, with beautiful decorations (and parties) for each season. Covid has been challenging, but the staff has kept all the residents safe while still making them feel a part of the community. Mom is 96 and thriving. I would highly recommend Northpoint.

This is the perfect place to live. I moved my brother to Northpoint a few weeks ago. The friendly, kind & considerate staff made the move so easy for him. In one month, he was told from the hospital he was moving, no longer driving and that our brother passed away. I am positive he’s adjusted so well because of the staff at each level from leasing, maintenance, front desk, housekeeping, dining room, activities and Quality Care. Rosemary Gibbs is very instrumental in making sure her residents receive the high quality care they deserve.

I find Northpoint staffing to be very friendly, caring and concerned for all of the residents that reside there. The warmth of the interior designs flows through the building and not just in a material way. It’s found on the faces of many employees and residents. A true testament of this is, the adjustment and dedication they have taken on to care for all the Senior residents while under the current COVID situation. Making life bearable daily as they keep everyone safe! Highly recommend and very happy to write my review!

This is the best family owned and operated senior living facility in the area and beats corporate companies by far. They treat everyone like family and took great care of my parents! That doesn’t mean they are without flaws...some staff turnover or sometimes a few undertrained aides but the owners, manager of care (Shelly) and Krystal do their best to address problems and solve issues!! I would not hesitate to place a loved one here!!!
