Wish I could give zero stars. Here is my complete & honest review. If you truly “love” your loved one DONT put them in this home. The visiting hours put me off from the start. Closing time is 5 pm. Most people work until 4/5 or even later, how can you even manage visiting when they close at 5? Later is was very obvious why. When you are present they showboat all the TLC, when in reality they do the bare minimum, and when you not there they do nothing. My family members diaper was rarely changed. They seldomly got her out of bed and into a chair. They also would just turn her feeding tube on every time she was hungry so they would not have to feed her. They neglected flushing the tube so it got clogged and my loved one suffered a weekend in the hospital over it. They gave her Imodium after her chemo because it gave her diarrhea, so they basically trapped the toxins inside her belly and she once again had to go to the ER. I really could go on for days about the neglect. The worst thing about it is, they banned my loved ones sisters from visiting her because they were the only ones noticing how terrible the place was treating their sister. My loved one was heart broken and cried alone all day. I would honestly rather die than ever get out in this place. I truly wish I wrote down everything. We are still learning new ways they neglected my loved one everyday.

Our loved one was in the Macomb Twp residential living home. The caregiver made our family promises she did not keep. We were told our family member would have 24 hour care. She would call for help all night and she could hear the care manager snoring in the room outside her door. She was on her own all night. The only time she got care was when a family member was there. It was all for show. The visiting hours are over at 5:00 on weekdays so that left many hours for her to be abused. Now that she has left this place we are hearing the many nightmare stories she went through. If you are looking for a place to send a loved one keep looking. There are so many horrible stories I could write a book. The care giver lied to our family. She is very unprofessional and mental abuse is her specialty.
