Do NOT bring your loved one to Brookdale Southfield. Although the facility looks nice the administrative staff are awful. Cold, heartless and unorganized. The staff don't return calls, texts or emails. They illegal withdrew funds from my deceased father's checking account when notification had been given 30 days in advance. No one was able to explain this to me? There were plenty of times when communication was not handled properly. The staff is awful to say the least.

They have managed to do a wonderful job with caring and helping my dad. He has done a complete 180 under their care. He is brand new and it is refreshing that he likes his new home.

Very well run, clean. They seem to take good care of the senior who live there. Many living, dining, and level of care options. Entertainment at times.

Natalie and I moved in exactly five years ago and we have found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The staff has done a great job of keeping us safe during the pandemic and they have given us surprise treats since we have to stay inside. We love the large pool for exercising, the exercise room and the different exercise classes. We love the variety of activities offered in the community, Shelly does a great job of programming fun entertainment and activities. When things get back to normal, we will be able to take bus trips back to meijer, target, kroger, etc. The housekeeping staff is reliable, thorough, and always show up when you need them. ComforCare has been a huge help and were glad they are in our community.

I moved into Brookdale Southfield in 2019, the staff has been helpful, friendly, and very nice and that has not changed. I made a good choice coming here.

I would give Brookdale Southfield 10 stars if I could! My 93 year old mother has been a resident for over six years. There is no doubt that her life has been extended and enriched by the Brookdale Southfield environment and family of friends and staff. The building is beautifully decorated and maintained; the amenities and activities provide comfort, camaraderie, stimulation and fun. The staff (Associates) is responsive, solicitous, and compassionate. During the pandemic Brookdale Southfield Associates have been positively heroic in protecting residents, pivoting to new responsibilities (e.g., meal delivery, laundry service, daily temperature checks, etc.) and devising creative, safe activities to boost morale and fend off loneliness. The entire team – Executive Director, Resident Services, Resident Programs, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food Service, Reception, etc. – deserves top rating and gratitude. Mom is in the right place! Thank you.

My Father looked at many senior facilities before deciding on Southfield Brookdale. He said several times that he made the right choice. My husband and I are very Impressed with how well run Brookdale is. They have the BEST people helping the residents. It hasnt been easy for anyone with the pandemic. They have found many creative ways to help the boredom of the residents. From Music played outside, Moonbeams for Sweet-dreams, Ice Cream and Candy delivery, Bar cart on Fridays, and many other things. The vaccine Clinic was very well organized. I enjoy living here because I like the cleanliness, the food, and the atmosphere. The staff seems to have a real concern for the residents and I have not had any problems with the service. Unfortunately, I moved in at the beginning of the pandemic and a lot of things have been shut down, but they still offer a decent range of activities and I look forward to much more once we are thru this crisis. I like the accommodations and as of right now, I am satisfied.

Beautiful community. They have gone above and beyond during this pandemic to keep my loved one safe. Amazing staff and great food. Cannot recommend Brookdale enough! Very attentive and clean as well. During normal times they have a ton of activities and it is a great and safe place to move your loved one into.

This was a nice place. The other place was the nursing home it was to expensive. 8000 a month. Plus the-therapy $6000 a month. - it was too expensive. It cost half as much as other place - this place was nice luxurious.

My mother moved in March and has adjusted very well. She's made new friends, enjoys beading classes and bingo. This move has helped her to become more active, especially going to the dining room for her meals. I'm extremely happy that she is in a very nice place and feels safe and secure. Everyone is so nice and the staff truly cares about the residents.

I move my mom in in January and I had to take her against her will but now she loves it. Kelly the sales person was so patient with me and supportive in helping me with all my questions and concerns! She was right it takes a bit to adjust. The staff is kind and caring and always has something to say about my mom, they pay attention to their residents. What a great decision. Was please to see Comfor Care got a new owner, AJ who is very receptive to concerns. Highly recommend this location
