So glad we chose this place for my mom! She is doing much better than living alone, she’s made friends and there are always things to do. She especially loves the entertainment and Donna has done an amazing job organizing events. Every staff member I have met has been wonderful to me but more importantly to my mom, they really do care about her. They are always professional, kind and respectful. The building having gone through a renovation is gorgeous and very clean. My mom is somewhat picky (and basic) with her food choices but has said the food is very good. Again, so happy with our decision, I have peace knowing how well my mom is cared for.

My mother is a resident in Assisted-living at Waltonwood University. Recently, she was chosen to be the recipient of a "Waltonwood Adventure by Waltonwood". This is a company-sponsored, personalized, life enrichment offering which provides a unique and meaningful experience to the resident. Donna D., the wonderful Assisted-living Life Enrichment Manager, talked to my mother and discovered that she is a huge Elvis fan. My mom never was able to see him live when she was a young mother and always wished that she had. Donna discovered that there was an Elvis Tribute Artist coming to the Roxie in Downtown Rochester. She made all the arrangements and my mother, myself and my daughter were treated to a wonderful day of Elvis songs, comedy and a lovely brunch! My mother met with the performer after the show for the "photo op". She was all smiles and told her friends all about it! Thank-you to Donna and Waltonwood University for this wonderful experience. My mother was glowing for weeks!

Waltonwood has been the best decision for my parents. From the very beginning the staff and residents were so welcoming and made them feel at home. The staff had been incredible from Always saying hello each day to helping plan birthday parties to solving any problems so quickly.always with a smile. Waltonwood is my forever home. I love my apartment and the view from my living room. Brennen made my first impression of Waltonwoood an excellent one; warm, extremely friendly, and helpful. It has not changed. Katelyn goes over and above to arrange various activities for all residents. Special holiday events are beyond great and the food for these events are incredible. Even though a few changes in our culinary staff our daily food is getting better. I expect that once the team is experienced and regular the food will be amazing every day. I love it at Waltonwoood. Thank you Waltonwood for having great people to make living here a happy one!

An absolutely wonderful place for your loved ones! The staff is very friendly, and the residents are beyond wonderful. Plenty of activities going on daily to keep residents engaged. Upper management is very involved in daily happenings in community and is always willing to support the teams to ensure the highest quality of care for the residents.

Waltonwood does a wonderful job of making it's residents happy and comfortable. There is a family mentality and the staff take care of the residents like they would a loved member of the family. The food and desserts are amazing as well. It's hard to find good food, but they deliver here!

My mother was welcomed at Waltonwood University for a respite stay after leaving a sub-acute rehab facility. While she was there, we could not have been more pleased with her care. Matt Cortis, the executive director, worked closely with my mom and our family, helping us to coordinate her physical therapy visits and all other needs. The staff on the units were like none we have ever experienced before. They responded call lights in 2 minutes or less most times, never more than 4 or 5 minutes. They demonstrate a care, compassion and respect for all the residents. It is truly one of the most caring environments I have ever encountered in senior care. We will miss the whole bunch when her respite stay is over, it has been a pleasure.

I am very happy living at Waltonwood. The staff is very friendly and caring, I've make wonderful friends with residents, and the facility is comfortable and charming. Matt, our director, works very hard to keep everything running on an even keel. Other staff members are accommodating and are very helpful whenever needed. My new friends come from diverse backgrounds and there is never a dull moment. The facility is charming and reminds me of a lovely European hotel. Moving here was a change in my lifestyle, but it's a good change, and I've never regretted my decision to come here.

My mother was a resident in the assisted living section. The staff is extremely friendly and are always trying to help the residents. There are many activities that are available for the residents and their families. The rooms are nice and when I was exploring facilities they had one of the most competitive rates available.
