Moving to Waltonwood has been a wonderful experience with no regrets from moving from a condo. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Many activities are planned weekly which we can pick and choose. My family and great-grandchildren attended Camp Waltonwood - had a great time and I enjoyed the boat ride. The residents of various ages are respectful, kind and very friendly. Waltonwood - a great place to live!!

It is very hard when one partner in a marriage has Dementia and the other does not. Waltonwood was wonderful in helping us transition my step-mother into Memory Care and my father into an Independent Living apartment. Alecia Greenberg (Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator) and Ricardo Brooks (Memory Care RN) were very supportive and helped outline for us how the transition works. Alecia has been instrumental in getting my step-mom into activities and meeting other residents. Ricardo has been very attentive in making sure her medications are given at the correct times and works with the Doctors if any adjustments are needed. Both Alecia and Ricardo have been outstanding helping my father navigate visiting my step-mom and supporting him as he tries to figure out a new normal. At Waltonwood they have Independent, Assisted Living (Courtney Miller is wonderful!) and Memory Care. The staff is friendly, supportive and work with families to find the right fit for everyone.

When your parent has Alzheimers, especially during these trying times, all you want is to know theyre happy and safe. At Waltonwood, I know my mom is both - thanks in no small part to the loving care of Alecia Greenberg, Life Enrichment Manager. Alecia has been getting me through this by providing her with outstanding care...and providing ME with updates and text pictures all along the way. My mom has a new best friend!

We moved my mother into Waltonwood a week before the covid-19 lockdown. The staff have been great helping her feel welcome and cared for, even under these difficult circumstances. Alecia (Memory Care Life Enrichment Manager) is so wonderful with my mom, keeping her engaged and active. We get updates often, even texted pictures of their activies. We are very pleased with the care she and her staff are giving Mom.

My mom has lived at Waltonwood for 10 years. Her initial statement- Ive come here to die. Well at almost 101, she quickly forgot about that idea and developed some wonderful friendships with both residents and staff. I appreciate that about Waltonwood and the efforts people like Lee, Gina and many more have shown to provide a great environment. More importantly I have to say in this time of COVID I greatly appreciate what this whole organization has done to keep the residents safe, both physically and emotionally. This is an organization that did the right thing in a very tough time! Daily I am grateful that the people at Waltonwood embrace a holistic view of their residents and their lives.

My mom has been a resident at Waltonwood for years and moved to memory care last November. Due to her deteriorating physical and mental health, we were concerned the move would be traumatic for her. However, she easily adjusted to living in memory care and has been doing well despite the restrictions in place due to Covid. The biggest factor contributing to her maintaining such good mental health is the constant support she receives from the Life Enrichment Manager, Alecia Greenberg. Alecia keeps the residents mentally active by offering an array of activities (games, crafts, socials, etc) for the residents to participate in. She also engages with the residents by talking with them about family, friends, good memories and current events. Alecia has even gone above and beyond by helping residents stay in contact with their family through phone calls, letters, cards and photos while Covid restricts access to our loved ones.

Waltonwood has been a wonderful place for my mother to live. It has been a difficult process with my mother but the staff have been very kind and flexible. Alicia (Life Enrichment Manager) makes sure my mom has a variety of options to keep her busy. She didnt have any when she lived at home so its nice to see her have Alicia to keep her hands and mind busy. I would recommend Waltonwood to others.
