My brother, B- R, was a resident at Brookdale Northville. He was very ill and needed lots of TLC. Denita Smith, R N, the Health and Wellness Director and many staff members did a very professional job. Denita was kind and thorough and supportive. She always took time to talk with family and to work with B-R. A special note of thanks to Porshia who never failed to take care of the situation at hand. And Steve who was called upon to do some extra special housekeeping. Every effort was made to make my brother's last days as comfortable as possible. He suffered with Parkinson's. The other residents with whom my brother was able to join for meals for a period of time, were most enjoyable. Every effort was made to include my brother in activities when he was able. Denise, a volunteer, brought compassion and cheer to his room. She put up wall hangings and brought gifts that made for comfort. The young man who did activities and Monday with Sundaes was kind and supportive. The kitchen did their best to accommodate him even though he had difficulty appreciating the good food at times. Hospice was called in and provided that very special care needed. Thank you Kari. And last, not least, Leslie Aneed, Executive Director who provides the right environment for those who are active and well and those who no longer enjoy such times. My aunt received the most amazing care at the end of her life. She was on hospice and the caregivers treated her like family. All her Brookdale friends were by her side and her family was supported with everything. Our only regret is that she didn’t move to Brookdale sooner.

My 91-year old mothers illness came on suddenly, leaving my sister and I scrambling to find an assisted living facility. ho could we trust to take care of our mother, especially during this COVID pandemic? Our fears were put to rest the moment we took a virtual visit with Anne from Brookdale. Angela and her team were wonderful transitioning my mother to assisted living. Her fear of loosing her independence was quickly replaced with a sense of belonging and the security knowing she was never alone.

My grandfather was a resident for 5 and a half years at Brookdale Northville and had a wonderful experience before passing away in early February. I volunteered there as well a few years back and can only find amazing things to say. All team members are wonderful, kind, caring people and make sure their top priority is keeping their residents safe, healthy, and happy. Pre-COVID, they held holiday parties for friends and family to spend time with their loved ones that were always a great time. During COVID, theyve taken all precautions to keep residents as well as the staff as safe as possible. I couldnt recommend Brookdale enough to take care of your loved ones!

Brookdale Northville was a Godsend during a difficult time for our family. Angela went above and beyond to make the transition for my Mom smooth as could be during COVID and her end of life time was handled with the utmost care and respect. I would highly recommend them and want to thank them for making this hard time as comfortable as could be.

My sister has a been a resident there for a couple of weeks and the staff was wonderful in helping her adjust to her new environment. The Executive Director called us on her first day there to reach out and welcome us as family as well as give us an update on my sister. The care coordinator has also been great about giving us updates when we call. We are pleased to know she will be well taken care of in her new home.

I have volunteered at Brookdale for almost 4 years and have referred many family and friends to Brookdale Northville. The staff is amazing and really care about each and every resident and especially during this very difficult pandemic time Caren, the Activity Director has been doing everything possible to keep the residents busy and engaged. I have seen first hand the care and love each resident receives and I highly recommend Brookdale Northville to anyone looking for a wonderful, quaint and beautifully comfortable place for their loved one.

I am very pleased that I picked Brookdale of Northville for my parents new home. They have been there for over a year. The staff is caring, kind and accommodating. I feel at ease knowing they are getting the care that they need. They have a lot of different activities to suit everyones needs. Meal time is more personal in the way the residents eat, not one big dining area. Thanks Brookdale staff for going above and beyond in these uncertain times...

My mom has been living at Brookdale Northville for just over two years now. She is very happy and content living there. I know this because she tells me that all the time. Mom enjoys playing Bingo with her friends and going on numerous outings. The Activity Director is amazing. The staff goes out of their way to invite Mom to activities. I am very involved with my mom and so I see the caregivers on a regular basis and know firsthand that they are friendly and compassionate. The Executive Director is an awesome leader. She acts immediately on any concern we may have and resolves it to our satisfaction. The nurse is great and attentive and answers any questions we have. During the pandemic the staff at Brookdale Northville absolutely earned their Heros Work Here sign in the front of the building! Brookdale has gone above and beyond in assisting me with virtual visits with Mom. The Executive Director and her wonderful assistant Tamika have kept us updated every step of the way and we hope to soon be able to actually visit outside with our loved ones. The Executive Director was excited to tell me her plan and how she has everything in place for when we get the green light to go and visit! Before choosing Brookdale Northville I did my research and visited 11 other assisted living facilities. My sisters and I are so happy that we made the right decision for Mom. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Northville for your loved one too.

My experience with Brookdale Northville has been nothing short of "great". On the multiple visits to Brookdale I experienced a very welcoming staff, and a friendly environment. I've met with many families who have loved ones at Brookdale and never heard a negative statement. Brookdale has continued to provide training to their staff and the families of their residents in order to enhance overall care. They put the community members first - and work diligently to provide great service every day.

A relative/friend of mine has been a resident at Brookdale Northville for quite some time now. We visit him quite regularly. The care he gets here is amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive. On holidays they have wonderful dinners for them and their families/friends. The food is delicious and the entertainment is wonderful. My friend was so lonely at home and seemed to be going downhill. The change in him is heartwarming. He's happy, they have made him feel purposeful and important. They have made him feel like it's his home. For me to say that I would love to live here says it all. Thank you Brookdale for taking such good care of our loved one.
