We love Sunrise assisted Living for our family member. There are a lot of nice activities on a daily basis. The staff is very caring and understanding to my mom’s care and needs. The place has a very family friendly atmosphere and we appreciate everyone there very much.

I am very happy with the care that my mom received at sunrise in the memory care unit. They were all wonderful with my mom, but some that really stand out are Jody, April, Angel, and Kat. Other staff were the receptionist hope and Jill always listening to your concerns and needs, talking with the people that live there and just superstars in what they do. Nurse Kim and Kristy Britton you actually get to know these people as part of a family. They offered compassion, love, and what people that are in this stage in life really need the most. They are not only accommodating and wonderful with the residents, but also with family members. As for activities, your loved one will never be bored. They celebrate various holidays have a whole range of daily fun activities to do, excellent food choices, the place is very bright and welcoming. When you step into their dining area, they have a full-size jukebox where they play music from the 50s, while resident dining together and almost restaurant setting. Activities like movie night, nachos, and blackjack night, daily exercise, for those of faith they have spiritual programs, there is a little something for everybody at sunrise.

When we decided to move my mom up from Texas last year, we needed to find a place rather quickly. Sunrise had been recommended to us by a friend, as her mother had received outstanding care when she was there. We only looked at Sunrise, so I cannot compare it to other places. I can tell you that the entire staff is loving and caring and treats my mom with so much respect. The thing that is so impressive is that it always smells clean and fresh! They go out of their way to celebrate holidays and special occasions and there are a lot of activities for your loved to participate in, if they choose to. Moving my mom 1,700 miles, from the only city she has ever lived in and a home she lived in for 55 years, was not easy, but Sunrise really helped her make the transition to Michigan. I cannot say enough about our experience with Sunrise. The entire staff is amazing! From the front desk, to the dining room and kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance, the nursing staff and the care team and the administrative team are first rate! My mom serves as one of the Community Ambassadors and she helps give tours to prospective residents and their families, she listens to other residents when they have questions, she enjoys helping out with her favorite exercise class and sometimes serves as a translator for Spanish for some of the other residents. If you are looking for a place that truly values your loved one, look no further than Sunrise of Northville.

My family and I needed to make a quick decision about care for my parents after a hospital stay and noticeable decline. Our experience from day one was compassion from everyone. We started in assisted living and after a difficult time with my mother we needed to move them to Memory Care. EVERYONE at Sunrise made this a smooth transition. I truly felt that Sunrise became part of my family during a very difficult time for all of us. They helped us every step of the way.

Without a doubt these are the kindest and most caring people you will find in any assisted living communities. From the manager to the care staff you won’t be disappointed. The non-stop programming and entertainment as well as special events keep the residents busy. The price is very fair for the peace of mind Kristy and her staff give your loved ones. Do yourself a favor and just take the tour before you send your loved ones to a lesser facility.

I have lived here for 2.5 years and the help is the best part. The building is always clean and tidy and the meals are the best. I enjoy the exercise class in the morning, as well as the bible study course. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is very difficult time in my life, but after 2 horrific facilities for my Mom, Sunrise of Northville has made all the difference. It's amazing how Sunrise has put me at comfort and ease with my Mom's care. The entire staff has gone above and beyond my expectations. Avoid. Just a casual inquiry will get you the hard sell. Repeated phone calls and emails from multiple salespeople, and then actual "opt-out" spam. You're looking for some basic human decency while you're trying to make a difficult decision, and this is what they give you.

My husband and I just completed a tour of Sunrise, and were very happy with the presentation and the tour. We have visited other facilities and they were wonderful as well, but feel that Sunrise had that warm and homey feeling more than the others. We are keeping Sunrise at the top of our list for my mom.

We visited 10-12 communities & decided on Sunrise for Mom. We’ve never regretted it for a moment in the three years here. In addition to the value versus other places, we have peace of mind about her safety & care. The move to Sunrise brought back my Mom’s spark! My mother lived at this facility for about 6 years. The care was very good. Some of the people were even exceptional, from the office to the caregivers. You have to keep the lines of communication open. I called after my mother passed to ask a billing question and they were already on top of it and handling it. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Northville.

Couldn’t be happier!! This was the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make and Sunrise has exceeded expectations. They are very attentive to their residents needs yet respecting their privacy.

The most important thing is my Mom is happy here! Yes, 24/7 care is expensive but necessary in my mom's case and renting an apartment and having live-in help was a lot more money. The caregivers are very supportive, friendly and helpful. The residents are right down the road from many restaurants, movie theaters, and shopping. They have scheduled luncheons, shopping, church, and excursions each week available with a shuttle bus.
