We chose to entrust a family member to Candlestone for his final months of life. Our research indicated they were the best fit for our needs. It turned out to be the right decision. From the beginning, our loved one received campassionate, competent care. Management and staff were very attentive to his individual situation and needs. He first spent time in an assisted living apartment, then moved to the memory care unit when it became necessary. Finally, when hospice care was needed, Candlestone referred us to a hospice organization they work closely with. Our experience with hospice could not have been better! We had multiple occasions to work directly with the executive and care team directors at Candlestone to address changing needs. They were always readily available, responsive, and caring. They truly have servant hearts and made our journey so much easier than expected. The entire staff exudes the kind of friendliness and genuine caring attitude that speaks well for their training. They were always exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend our friends at Candlestone to those searching for this kind of experience. You won't be disappointed!

The staff are so kind. My mom is a social person and was sad and lonely at her home. there are always activities daily and fun staff to manage them. The food is wonderful. My mom went from sad, and having difficulty with forming sentences. She found her words making full sentences. She's smiling all the time now and meeting new people with similar experiences as her. I recently toured Candlestone Assisted Living and Memory Care, while searching for the right place for my aunt and uncle, who are planning to relocate from out of state. After visiting several facilities, Candlestone truly stands out. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff is genuinely focused on their residents, not just on their physical needs, but on their dignity, comfort, and daily quality of life. Everyone I met was warm, engaged, and knowledgeable, and I felt like they really took the time to understand my family situation. The Memory Care neighborhood impressed me with its calming environment, thoughtful routines, and the level of personal attention the team provides. The Assisted Living side felt just as welcoming, with a strong sense of community and independence. The entire facility is clean, inviting, and designed in a way that feels like a home. I left feeling confident that my aunt and uncle would be surrounded by people who genuinely care about their well-being.

My mother has been comfortable in her apartment and over the past 6 months has been able to make it more homey . She repeatedly tells me the ladies all treat her well. She enjoys their banter back and forth and sense of humor. Laundry has been a concern and this past month mother does her own. Meals are ok and she particularly likes their banter delivery of breakfast to her room!! Director isn’t around and not sure who replaced the previous Director?!?

My mother (95) has been a resident of Candlestone for 7 months now and has enjoyed her one bedroom apartment with a walkout patio (that she is able to access with her wheelchair. She is complimentary of the food and goes to the dinning room on a daily basis. She also partipates in some of the many activities they have on a daily.

I am very pleased with Candlestone Assisted Living for my parents. It’s clean, staff is very helpful and professional, nice activities and more. It would be helpful if they had a van to take residents places. The food is adequate, but it needs to be more appropriate for seniors. Easier to chew, options available at every meal, example cottage cheese, jello, apple sauce, yogurt, pudding, fruit cocktail.

Right from the top(staff) Jame Bannick and every staff angel have been above and beyond in caring for our parents.Our father had a very debillitating condition which limited his abilities to walk and use his hands and the staff cared for his every need! Compassionate care for him and our mother has been a priority for over a year. Our father declined and the staff was exceptional in helping his last days be comfortable for him and our family.The Life Enrichment activities and events are so appreciated as our parents lived their life around music being dad was an accordian player playing in many bands and they enjoyed all the musicians and singers who came . Mom loves the crafts which helps so much now that dad has passed. She has made friends with many of the ladies there.The events encourage family support of their loved ones living at Candlestone and make it a fun and "homey" atmosphere to visit often. Concerns are addressed in a timely manner by the Candlestone team.

Candlestone Assisted Living is a home for seniors who decide they no longer want to or no longer can live by themselves. It is an amazing place it has apartments for singles or couples. The apartments come in different sizes. It provides 3 amazing meals a day. A cleaning lady to clean your apartment weekly. 24 hour nursing staff. A great Recreation Director who provides recreation activites at least 2x a day... A Pastor who comes weekly. A beauty shop available for residence. Its only about one year old so everything is bright and beautifully decorated and clean. The staff is available daily. Everyone is happy and full of smiles...monthly it has one big activity....and staff also provides monthly activites that include extended family.....as you can see i can not say enough good about this place.The only negative thing I can say is that Candlestine does not have a "bus" to take their residents to Dr. Appt. Shopping etc most residence do not drive so a bus would help tremendously.
