I was shocked that this place didnt have enough food for patients they were out of alot of things sadly . They have an (A la cart) menu ,which is shocking . Deli ,or hot sandwich or peanut butter sandwich , chef salad —. Sorry but I'm wondering if they even have a nutritionist ? Seriously the food they offer to patients isn't ™ appetizing its worse than military food. Looks like they are short staffed big time . They have about 4 employees that really hustle to help all around. Fyi : make sure you check on your loved ones .

My grandpa stayed at Brittany Manor after a fall, and I can’t say enough about the amazing care he received. He needed both physical therapy and dialysis, and having both available on-site was such a huge blessing for our family. At other facilities, he had to leave the building multiple times a week for dialysis, which was stressful, tiring, and sometimes caused him to get sick. At Brittany Manor, everything was right there under one roof, which made his recovery so much smoother! The physical therapy team worked with him daily to help him regain his strength, and the progress he made was incredible. The staff was always attentive, professional, and caring. One thing that really stood out was the communication. Our family was kept in the loop every step of the way. This meant a lot to my dad, who lives far away and can’t always visit in person, but still felt connected and informed. Brittany Manor truly exceeded our expectations. They made a difficult time so much easier, and we are beyond grateful for the compassionate care they provided. I would absolutely recommend them to any family looking for skilled nursing care and rehabilitation.

During a difficult time for our family, the staff was considerate and responsive. They got to know my dad, and the care they are currently providing is competent and appropriate. Advise families to avoid arriving at a meal time when the staff is very busy, and transitions can be tough, but otherwise have had a good experience. I do wish places like this had the ability to provide slightly higher staffing levels, as the team is clearly working very hard. Also would like to see more fresh veggies, more green things on the menu- always a challenge for institutions but there are good examples con the industry (even cooking completions” soups are an easy way to add delicious veggies)

Very nice place. I spent almost 4 months there after surgery for healing and rehabilitation. The staff in general where nice and really seemed to care. Due to my medical issues I am most likely to have more surgery and more rehabilitation. With that Brittany Manor will be my first pick. Just recently completed my second stay at Brittany Manor. Again I have to say very nice place for healing and rehabilitation. The meals are good and you have options if you don't like the scheduled meal. A individual list is provided for the upcoming week. During the week, while not doing rehabilitation the activities staff offers 3-4 activities daily to help the day pass. From BINGO (the most popular), card games, trivia, and a variety of seasonal arts and crafts.

My husband's three week stay with Brittany Manor was a great experience. Top of the list was that he received excellent PT and OT therapy that centered on his recovery from hip replacement surgery and a complicated fasciotomy on his opposite leg. In addition to his physical needs, PT and OT took a personal interest in him which gave him the confidence and motivation needed for the best chance at being successful in his recovery. And after being in multiple hospitals and in-patient facilities the past seven months, I can say Brittany Manor offered the best meals by far. Great tasting and a good variety in their menus compared to traditional "hospital food". And the kitchen staff was exceptional. Very professional, approachable and kind. And finally, the few minor issues we had with medical staff were resolved quickly and with our best interest in mind. We always felt like our voice was heard and with compassion. We highly recommend Brittany Manor with the understanding that "there's no place like home", which was our ultimate goal - and they helped us achieve. Thank you Brittany Manor and all your staff!

I went to Brittany Manor with a spiral tibula break and broken ankle.i am 62 years old I was familiar with Brittany due to my family members having been here. My personal experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, the nursing staff was so kind and always went out of their way to make sure I had anything and everything I wanted. Extra blankets, Coffee, extra waters, snacks, .. when I pushed my button they came quickly with a smile. I was there for healing, occupational therapy and physical therapy. The room for therapy is great and the equipment is clean. I had many therapist while there that had rotated. My main therapist that I worked with for occupational was Andrea and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her abilities. They all were great. But she was exceptionally warm and listened to me and my issues and made me feel like someone cares. This is not just a nursing home. I would reccomend Brittany for rehabilitation. I highly recommend Brittany Manor to anyone looking for short- term, long- term or any care for themself or their family .

My 91 yr-old mother-in-law loves everything about Brittany Manor Rehab in Midland, MI! This is her third stay where she needed IV antibiotics for her complex UTI and PT to regain strength lost during hospitalization. She received outstanding care from the medical staff (doctors, nurses, and aids), PT/OT staff, dietitians, laundry crew, and social workers. She was allowed to choose personalized meals and to have visits by our Frenchie! As with previous visits, where she recovered from a broken femur and hip replacement surgeries, we appreciated how competent, caring, and responsive the entire staff has been. She returned to Assisted Living after two weeks of great care. We wouldn’t bring her anywhere else if future needs arise.

My aunt (95 years old) stayed here for rehabilitation for a month after a very serious hospitalization. Her care was excellent. Staff was very responsive and extremely friendly and ready to help. I called on several occasions with questions and was immediately directed to the correct person and my questions all answered. During her stay, an aide noticed a health issue (one that could have easily been ignored) and summoned the nursing staff. She was taken to the hospital that evening and admitted. She later had a serious heart episode and was saved because Brittany Manor staff were on top of things and got her help before it was too late. It was clean and fun activities to do as well.

Their Physical Therapy is 5 out of 5. Everything else they are so understaffed. Their aids forget things that is requested of them and the simple task they have to do like hygiene on residents or the right way of putting on braces or even putting support belts on so they dont fall are skipped or done wrong out of being lazy or trying to get things done fast. One bright spot in their Aids is a aid named Jamie she is 5 out of 5. The PA and Doctors dont listen to the patient needs and do their own thing. They stopped giving me my anxiety meds that my normal doc gave me that worked and never addressed why and ignored me when i asked why. Their social workers are amazing. But their aids nurses and doctors really fail them as does their kitchen. Laundry is ok but they lose clothes at time.

My mom was in a car accident and went to Brittany Manor after leaving the hospital. 14 broken ribs, fractured sternum and both bones broken at the R ankle. Admission was a rushed, unorganized mess and she ended up going many hours over due for medication. After calling multiple times and not even being sure I was calling the right number because no one answered and I would get a message saying the line was not available, my Mom texted me to say that the nurses told her to tell me to stop calling because the doctor was getting annoyed. ™ I think the nurses were understaffed and one particular LPN was the rudest nurse I’ve ever encountered and she should not be working anywhere that she has to interact with people. Some of the staff was concerned about a foam mat for my moms back being an infection hazard, yet blood on the sheets for 3 days until I changed them, or wet towels on the bathroom floor for 3 days wasn’t concerning?? My mom did say the meals were good. The rehabilitation was very beneficial. All of the CNAs were kind, caring, and helpful. Social worker was helpful and got her everything she needed to go home.

If we had known I was going to end up on the long term care side, I we would h as ve gone to as mother facility,! I think you need to tell family that "before' I leave the hospital. Guy CV coming in my room constantly, woman screaming across the hall nonstop, cold food, not enough staff, lazy support staff that fools around instead of working. Nurses were good though! 2 calls to kitchen m as mager were ignored. No return calls. Covid. Got 2 recordings that people had tested positive for Covid. After the first call, wife call wife called with questions since this was new to us. Person she talked to was extremely rude and abrupt. I did not ask her who had it, just wanted to know how it's handled. We had 2 babies and a toddler visiting the night before the recording came in, do was quite concerned! Found out absolutely NO restrictions at all. Gail (wife,) gor Coviid last week as nd was quarantined for 5 days. Covid is nothing to ignore!! Rehab staff were great!! Cleaning staff very good! Some very good aides. Phone does not get answered on weekends. Good activity staff. Most of the nurses are good but overworked! Clean facility. Food good ,(when it's hot!) Communication between staff could be better!

I received excellent nursing and rehab services at this facility. I saw the doctor twice, the physician assistant and nurse practioner 3 times each in 2 weeks that I was there. When I arrived I couldn't stand, walk or get up and down, or in and out of bed. Today when I am leaving I am walking independently without needing a walker. My call light was answered in a timely, kind and courteous manner and my room was kept spotlessly clean. I cannot recommend Brittany Manor enough! (And I have recommended it to many of my friends and neighbors!)

My father was transferred here from Bay McLaren for extreme wound care and from day 1 they have it going here at this facility. Everyone was extremely positive and friendly and so willing to do whatever was needed not only to take care of his wound but to do physical therapy to get him back into the walking world again. Can't say enough about the care that this facility has given my father during that time. He came home and unfortunately he had another fall and has had to come back to spend a few more weeks to get him physically able to return home again and they accepted him with wide open arms (without contact) and we can sleep sound knowing he is in excellent care while here. God Bless those whom are caring for those in these facilities.

I have had two family members who have been residents at this facility, I can’t say enough good things about the staff! Currently my aunt, who is mentally challenged, is a resident there. The staff has bent over backward to communicate with her and to meet her needs. So many CNA’s go beyond what their normal duties are to make her comfortable. Before the C-19 virus, she received hugs from not only the CNA’s but from kitchen staff, laundry staff, cleaning personnel, activities staff, basically everyone who comes in contact with her. Shannon, Mellisa, Ashley, rehab, and the numerous staff members have worked with us to provide a safe and loving environment.

My mom was in the rehab unit for one month. The PT and OT staff were very good. My mom broke her leg and could barely move on arrival. She can now walk quite a ways with a walker and her pain is way down. The RNs and CNAs were very nice to mom. The food is OK for a medical facility. You can also get homemade soup daily. Each room has a bed, TV, phone and bathroom with room climate controls.

My mom just left this facility after 2 weeks of rehab for her leg. The staff was nice to her and she seemed satistifed with her stay. I must admit the main thing that upset me was feeling unwelcome by staff. A majority of the staff looks like they're just there to get paid and leave. Most staff didn't seem welcoming, at least a smile would have been nice. One nurse and a social worker made us feel welcome. Housekeeping was the nicest to my mom. They were very polite and helpful. 4 or 5 nurses and/or assistants would gather in the hall gossiping outside the patients doors, which got a bit irritating while trying to visit. It looked like a couple were working with a patient, but the others joined in while passing in the hall. The nurses made remarks in front of other patients saying, "It's always the good ones that leave." Then would around like they shouldn't say things like that, which I'm assuming they meant it in a good way, but it seemed rude to do in front of other patients who are staying there. The food is good, the equipment my mom needed was provided and they made sure to help get everything in place for her discharge. Other than getting looks, eye rolls and a little attitude from nurses and assistants the experience was fairly pleasant.

I am not sure why some reviews are so bad. I came here for 2 months for post surgery care and physical therapy. The nurses and aides are the best. They do not give out cold sandwiches for dinner. You can ask for the menu for the next week. You circle what you want, or you can request something else. Sometimes I would ask for a sandwich or soup. A few times the aide would bring me dinner and I didn't like it, they would ask me what I want and they would get it. I actually was sad to leave.

After surgery, I stayed in the rehab department for 20 days. The PT and OT department was fantastic. They are very professional and compassionate folks. The room is delightful and the equipment is very helpful. The care team was good. Most are very helpful and professional. The food was terrible. I lost 8 pounds in 20 days, which isn't a good thing. If the money was spent on quality rather than quantity, it might be okay.

My grandfather just got out of the rehab facility. He has heart issues and needs oxygen after having a lung infection. His tank ran out, staff was alerted, a CNA came in, and then they left him completely without nasal oxygen FOR AN HOUR. They also gave him the wrong medications on discharge and told the pharmacy they had no record of him when we went to get the problem sorted out. Other things: patients in nearby rooms yelling for help for upwards of 20 minutes, and two deaths in two days in the *rehab* wing. All of that said, the physical and occupational therapists were excellent.
