Glen Abbey has been a wonderful home for both my mother and aunt. The staff always treated them with dignity and respect. They also exhibited true caring for them as individuals. Kitchen staff were always willing to make adjustments in times and menu when necessary. The aides were true "friends" on the job! The facility also stayed on top of communications when any changes occurred with my family members. I would recommend Glen Abbey without hesitation.

Glen Abbey is a beautiful and loving community. Coming from an employee, I guess this could sound bias. However I have worked in or visited 30+ different communities; so I have definitely seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I have met some of my favorite people at Glen Abbey; from the team that works there to the residents who live there. So honestly, if you are exploring different community options for either yourself or a loved one, I would check out the community!

We toured many communities before choosing Glen Abbey for my Dad. He has been at the community for a couple months now and everything has been a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and care about all the seniors that live there. My dad enjoys all the meals, activities and has even made a few friends! Glen Abbey has really put the whole family at ease and we are so thankful to have found them!

Glen Abbey in Canton has been a life-saving choice. My spouse was in need of a place to live and I needed help to care for him. Glen Abbey has proven to be the ideal place for us. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcomed and offered great support and comfort. We quickly felt a sense of belonging. They look after my spouse with compassion and tenderness. They work very hard to get to know him by talking and listening to him. If there is anything I need, they are willing to help me and always with a kind attitude. The same kindness and friendliness are shown to visitors that come to see my spouse. They keep the facility clean, the meals are good and they offer a variety of activities. I would recommend Glen Abbey to anyone. They will guide you and support you through a challenging time in your life. I finally can find a sense of relief and calm because of the special people at Glen Abbey who care for my spouse.

The Executive Director at Glen Abbey came in during the worst of COVID-19 and what were hard conditions in health care everywhere. We worked together through a lot of challenging times, but with her upper leadership team behind her, Glen Abbey has become a wonderful home for my dad, who will be there for 3 years in December. While a steadfast leader, she's also put together a great team around her. The kitchen staff care about their residents, the food is so good, they're the best! The activities manager does a wonderful job, from daily activities to larger events. The care team staff has only gotten stronger; the bar is always being raised, and it shows. The team is responsive to your needs and concerns. Nothing is perfect, but attitude and intent mean everything. I make sure to take the time to thank them for being such an important part of my team.

My family member just left this place she told me how the staff gets harassed all the time and I'm not talking about the residence living there I'm talking about staff...I've seen workers gang up on staff while I was visiting multiple times. I've talked to a few different residents and they told me they seen other residents have a medical emergency and the staff seen it and the staff left her on the ground seizing and the staff members didn't wanna help so they blamed it on another employee who they harass all the time it just kills me how people can get away with that these people are supposed to take care of ur loved ones.

We have experience with two assisted living places locally here in Canton. Glen Abbey was the better of the two. Both had caring, friendly staff, but Glen Abbey was much more organized and better adequately staffed. They entry, exit requires manual door-release by staff, which at times seemed cumbersome, but contributes to the tight organization of the property, and we feel was a positive aspect. I would recomment Glen Abbey to another family member.

This community is the best community in Canton! Beautiful building, large apartments, very friendly staff and all the amenities you would want in an assisted living they have. I was happy to see residents out of their rooms socializing in the common areas and doing activities. My tour was very nice and informative. She gave us peace of mind that all our needs will be met. I am confident that this is the place for my mother!

My brother and I came to visit my mom on Saturday 5/15/21 and we let Ayanna, one of the caregivers, know that we would be back about 6pm to pick her up and take her to my niece's wedding reception and would be bringing her back about 9pm that night. She was friendly and accommodating, assuring us that that would not be a problem, and that she would let Allie, the caregiver that evening, know. I set out clothes to change her into on her bed, planning on getting there a bit early to get her changed into them. As Saturday traffic would have it, we were running a bit late and when we arrived and Ayanna let us into Memory Care, my mom was cleaned up, all dressed up with her hair curled, and waiting for us in her wheelchair. Allie had taken such great care to get her ready, all on her own. Later that night when we returned, a little later than planned since my mom was having such a great time and everyone wanted pictures with her, Ayanna cheerfully met us at the door and let us back into memory care. I wheeled my mom into her room and was getting her out of her wheelchair to get her ready for bed when Allie came in and said she would do that for her, which was amazing. Once again, I was reminded how extremely lucky we are to have her in a place where she is treated so well and loved like she was family. I am an ER nurse and see patients from all kinds of different facilities. I want to commend all the staff at Glen Abbey on the amazing care and concern they all have for the loved ones placed in their care. My family and I are so very happy that she resides there and grateful for everything the staff do to keep our loved ones happy and healthy. upon walking into the building you get a warm home feeling. The staff is so passionate and compassionate to the residents that it shines though them all with a light you will not find anywhere else. Annie, is so amazing at bringing joy and excitement to not only the residents and their families, but also to the community with her holiday events. Jeannine, makes sure that the staff is right where they need to be, the love she has for her residents and staff shines through the whole building, and you can see it on the joy on the residents faces. Jen, one of the most passionate and professional chefs, brings such a beautiful spread to each event and a wonderful touch to each day for each and everyone she encounters. None of the positive vibes and passion would be possible without such an amazing care staff! always there to take care of anything that arises. Helping wherever needed and on top of all of that, sharing their love with each resident to bring a family experience. The whole staff is supported so perfectly by Rochelle whom is always there to support not only her staff but the residents and their family. The team they have there today is so absolutely coordinated in providing the most wonderful care of each and every person that enters that building. Anna is a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help new and present families with any questions they may have. Always excited to see and meet new families and happy to show the community. I am so blessed to have gotten to meet each and every single person there. The residents are truly blessed to have such an amazing team working for and with them. Keep up the wonderful work!!!!

Glen Abbey (Canton location) is first class. The staff, building layout, and care are second to none. As a health care professional in the field, you can tell from the moment you walk in that Glen Abbey feels like home. I would highly recommend scheduling a tour to see what best in class service looks like. Their team, including Anna McNamara, community development director, and Anne Belecki, Life Enrichment Director, and their entire staff care and it shows. Highly recommend!

My grandma has been in this facility for about a year now and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to take care of her. Her room is always clean, they make delicious meals for their residents (and family if you want to join), and they have arts and crafts as well. I always recommend this location when people ask.
