Staff is responsive (to pendant alerts) and provides very good care; Excellent activities calendar and activities staff; Meals are good - wide array of meal alternatives can be substituted for the planned menu item at meal time. Facility is clean, well managed. Occasionally had some issues with items not coming back from laundry. Pets are welcome and cared for (no charge). Room pricing is steeper than facilities outside of AA area.

Our father moved to University Living when he was no longer able to live independently in his apartment. With assistance of administration a care team was developed that interacted well with his personality and medical needs. During his almost 6 month stay many changes were made to care for his physical and dietary needs. University Living was receptive to working with his Hospice RN's and their recommendations. We are grateful for the daily kind and competent services the caregivers and kitchen staff offered Dad. We are also very grateful for the support we received at the end of his life. He was treated with respect, dignity and great kindness and our family was also given support through a difficult time.

Tanum was fantastic. So informative and very empathic in a such a kind and caring way. I felt like I'd known her forever. As we walked the halls she knew everyone and addressed them all just like they were her family
July 2023
Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Tanum was especially helpful and a real gem on a day that was otherwise very stressful.

My mother moved to University Living a year and a half ago. It has assisted living and a memory care area. When she lived in the assisted living area, she met some friends who tell me to say "Hi" to her now, when they see me signing in to visit. University Living provides good meals, gives you your medicine when it is time, does laundry, has activities, some books, and an alarm necklace in case you fall. Also, both areas are locked, but you or your family can sign you out. I've added pictures from last year, when Mom was walking outside, having a birthday party in a room families can use, looking at photos in her room, and looking at Facebook on her phone. Now she is in memory care because of Alzheimer's, where she has help getting dressed and taking care of herself. University Living is good for both levels of care. We will have another birthday party for Mom soon.

I was extremely impressed by the staff, the facility and the price! I am thrilled to be getting my mom into this facility.
March 2023
For the much higher price, the personal care does not seem better than cheaper alternatives. While the building looks clean & new, in some ways it is more frustrating to deal with constant personal care problems (eg, not attending to bathroom hygiene, leaving MIL sitting wjthout any pants...). I think it is getting hard to find, train, supervise/discipline, and keep good staff at multiple levels due to the changing demographics, job market and payscale. Keep visiting your loved ones regularily wherever they are!
December 2022
A beautiful, clean place for your loved one to be. The staff is caring and works hard to ensure the residents are taken care of. Housekeeping keeps the building very clean and maintenance takes care of any issues promptly. So happy to have my loved one here.
December 2022
I've been working at University Living for almost two years now. I've had the most exceptional time with the staff, the residents and their family members. I absolutely love the unity within the staff as well as their collective devotion to the residents and their families. I joined the University Living family while in nursing school and every semester, the DON worked around my school schedule to make it easier for me not to feel any pressure.
November 2022
The staff here is extremely polite and works well with the residents. Always going above and beyond to help each other meet the residents needs and wants. The facility has great amenities: a work out room, a spacious area for the residents to take safe outdoor walks, as well as a garden area to relax by and multiple lounge rooms to socialize or have a movie night with friends. Would definitely recommend this facility for your loved ones.
November 2022
I got the impression the place was well organized and the residents were happy there.
October 2022
Great modern building with exceptional accommodations for all levels of care. Great job and great staff. Would recommend as a job for a nursing student, or anyone interested in senior care.
July 2022
UL took great care of my mom, both in the assisted-living quarters, and later in Memory Care. They communicated with us regularly and demonstrated compassion and professionalism. We made a good choice for my mom.

What a wonderful community. The staff and residents are so warm and friendly. They make difficult conversations easy and you can feel the genuine affection they have for wanting to care for your loved one.I got to sit in on a bingo game with the residents and could not stop giggling. The young lady calling the numbers made it engaging and the residents played right along. Everyone one was having a good time. They even have beautiful birds on display and residents have pets to warm your heart. It gives me comfort knowing this is a safe, happy and engaging community.
