Starting December 1, a large 1-bedroom apartment at 455 Paddington Road is available for sublet. 1157 CAD/month + hydro. The windows face the courtyard. Huge balcony with a storage spacious wall closets plus a walk-in storage. No pets allowed. You are welcome to view the apartment starting from November 16: Monday-Friday after 5 pm or on weekends from 9 am to 8 pm.

This review is at least a year late so things might have changed. Living in this place was ok and actually a good option after a long search of apartments. The area is very quiet, with a lot of parks and some stores around. The property management company though, is kind of weird. You are basically charged for anything that you want to request, even getting spare keys (I got them cheaper from Home Depot instead of requesting from them). The laundry room is shared per building, so there may be a waiting time depending on the hours and schedule of neighbors. We were lucky to get a renovated suite in the third floor, floor, appliances and washroom were decent, although the carpet cleaning was annoying. Water is included, parking is paid per month. Electric heaters per room so you save on Hydro a lot. Another small detail was the noise from the garbage and snow trucks very early in the morning. As it is a quiet residential area, those noises are more noticeable. They started to renovate things (stairs, paint in the hallways) before leaving the place, so I got some letters saying rent will go up, the new rent didn't make sense due to the things that are included in the suite are the same, so ended up moving to a better place that charges less. It seems that a lot of families live there, you will hear some kids playing outside specially in summer.
