Right at Home staff was totally there for Mom. They were arranging help round the clock, and we were given total peace of mind. Jenna was always there for scheduling Mom’s favourite caregivers, always there day or night, even on short notice. She was always there for the family when they needed help. Taz was there for our financial needs and ideas to get us through the many years we needed Right at Home. Both Jenna and Taz were very valuable and were there for Mom until her passing, at 103 years old. Her caregivers were all very compassionate, taking care of all her needs and desires. Ruth, one of our Mom’s favourite caregivers, was there for her day or night. She prepared meals, provided companionship (bathing, hair styling, lipstick at Mom’s request, all her grooming needs. Mom very much enjoyed either sitting outdoors, weather permitting, going for walks in her wheelchair, or her favourite going for car rides. Ruth also kept the house clean and organized, plus Mom’s grocery needs. She was so close to Mom that we considered her part of our family. Amandeep also was a great person and caregiver, also available for Mom when needed. She carried out similar caring as Ruth. Very warm and loving, and she was great with Mom. We were very lucky to have her as one of our very special caregivers. Anushka and Avreet were there when called on and attentive to Mom on their shifts, always appreciated them. Caley and Ivna were protective and caring when needed on the night shifts. Both were there for Mom when she had an overnight stint at the hospital. Very helpful when family and Mom needed them. Ruth, Jenna, and Amandeep were at Mom’s bedside on the evening of her passing at 103 years old. They were very supportive to the family. We tried many different institutions and found Right at Home our best choice and would for sure hire them if needed.

I can only say positive things about RAH! My husband was well taken care of and I never had concerns about leaving him as he was always in capable hands! I asked for assistance when i returned home from a knee replacement. I was assigned two caregivers, one in the morning and one later in afternoon over dinner hour. Kamalijeet and Amanpreet were the two ladies. I was very impressed with them. They arrived on time and assisted me where i needed it. Very friendly and outgoing ladies. My husband Ken had Michelle as a care giver and got along very well with her. She was nice and polite. Ken wasn’t too sure of the help or services he should/could ask for, being his first time in getting home care, and Michelle was very good at helping him in that regard and getting things done without much suggestions. We would like to thank all of the staff at Right at Home for all of the care, help and support they showed us right from the start at our first in house consultation. Also we would like to acknowledge 2 individual care givers that catered to our Dad for several years. This was both Analiza and Michelle. Even though we could rarely be with these 2 care givers, we were able to communicate each week through our book that was so important to us that we feel we could not have done without. We also had the ability to text 7 days a week and received prompt responses that we didn't think we would get on a Sunday evening. The genuine care and compassion that we felt from the whole team was what gave us peace of mind. We can't say enough about this. Yes, we will always recommend Right at Home to anyone who asks. RAH is an amazing company with wonderful staff as well. Jackie was very prompt to reply messages, nice, flexible to accommodate and adjust to my request as much as possible to meet my needs. My recovery journey after post surgery was much easier with their staffs helping out in home care. Never hesitant to help and punctual at all time. Very happy with our experience. The staff were all fantastic with mom, each in their own way. Cynthia was the steady hand, kind and compassionate. Ayo was our eager, helping hand. Doris was bubbly and enthusiastic. All three ladies were helpful not just with mom but with alleviating some of the burdensome, daily tasks that fell on my shoulders. I honestly hope to never have need to hire this company again, but should the need present itself I won’t hesitate to call.

I phoned right at home in desperation and they took over with a blink of an eye it was so fantastic to have a company that could just come in and take over and relieve my stress it is a company that I would recommend to anyone that has I loved one that needs to have assistance.

I broke my ankle in early March and needed personal care and help with household tasks. I called Right at Home the next day to arrange for care. They had so wonderfully looked after my father (who had dementia) and provided respite for my mother over nearly three years. Within a couple of days, RAH sent Sarah W, who became an integral part of my healing and helped keep the household on track. Besides ensuring I had all I needed (shower, getting dressed), she helped with cooking, cleaning (including cupboards and the fridge!), and whatever else needed doing. During the time Sarah was with us, she drove me to several appointments, to get a knee scooter and go for groceries once I could get out. She was kind, friendly and professional, and I am so grateful for her time with us over two months. I highly recommend RAH anytime you need help at home.

After deciding that a companion might be a good thing for a family member, I contacted Right At Home, and a meeting was arranged. I was surprised by both the level of professionalism and the compassion of the Co-ordinator. Wasn't expecting that ... especially in regards to compassion. She was very thorough in acquiring a good understanding of her potential client, taking notes while we talked. And there were (I think) 3 meetings, one she volunteered to attend with his doctor, if I was okay with that ... to which I agreed. All this was to help her determine who of her staff would be a good fit for my son. And after completing her assessment, I was surprised to find that there would be 3 different people for the first 3 visits, consequtively. The one who seemed to be best suited would then be selected as a permanent companion, yet with the idea that this could be changed if it did not pan out. It has now been around 3 weeks... and it has been great. My son looks forward to the visits, which are 2 hours duration. Seems like it has become a highlight of his week. And I should add that one of the Co-ordinators has filled in ... and that has also been just as positive an experience, as his regular companion. I am more than pleased and very grateful for the exceptional service provided by Right At Home. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of companion services.
