My Mom has been at Pearl Street for a year now. She loves it and so do we. It was a hard transition, but she feels very much a part of the community and at home. The variety and amount engagement activities are wonderful. There is something for everyone, every day. The wellness staff is caring and helpful all the time. The operations team makes the behind the scenes work, such as billing and record keeping go as smoothly as possible. And the food is delicious! So much goes into running an ASL community and Pearl Street does it right! We are so happy that Mom landed there.

My Mom has been at the Residence for a number of years and it has been a comfort to know that she is in such competent and compassionate hands. In a soothing environment, a highly competent staff, starting with a smiling front desk greet and carrying through the sides, nurses, entertainment director, wait staff, etc, Mom's golden years are all that one could ask for

My Mother in law could not have found a better place to call home than the Residence at Pearl Street! Jennifer Anthony, Sales Marketing Director, was extremely helpful right from the start. She was instrumental in assisting us at a stressful time when our family was trying to find an assisted living residence for our loved one. Jennifer greatly impressed us and helped get things in place in a good time frame. She was terrific and we are very thankful to her. We are so happy with the kindness and care our loved one receives at the Residence at Pearl Street. All the staff make her feel safe and secure and truly cared for. Our loved one is happy there and all of this gives our family great comfort. There are so many wonderful and engaging activities to keep her active and engaged, and she has made many friends. Even during this once in a century pandemic, it has been a vibrant and safe community. The Residence is bright and cheerful with lovely activity and dining room areas. The dining services and meals are wonderful, so there are absolutely no complaints from our family member in that area either. Thank you to all who make this such a great place to live, as the Residence at Pearl Street is simply the best.
March 2021
My Mom moved in March 2020 as COVID hit. The virus was so new and we all expected it to be over shortly. But we all know that was not the case. The staff was and is so caring and very personable. Everyone was covered head to toe in PPE to keep the virus from spreading! They took all precautions and assigned management-staff to visit each resident daily to help with isolation. They even had video calls with families so that we could at least try to visit and check in with our loved ones who we could not visit. A wonderful associate saved my Mom who lost interest in life (stopped eating!) as she was isolated during the height of the virus in the Spring 2020. This wonderful associate coaxed her to eat her favorite foods and she got back to herself. It was serious, hospice was called in because of her lack of will to go on. We owe it to her and the management and staff who were so dedicated to the residents. The Executive Director even moved in to be there around the clock! The COVID restrictions were relaxed when safe, during summer and fall. But the staff also noticed my Mom had declined terribly. She was lost a lot and struggling. We approved Mom to be moved to memory care and she adjusted quite well. She is thriving in the environment for those with issues with memory and needing extra care. She is very happy and safe. The management and staff are cautious now about COVIDs high and low rates. They apply the COVID rules to keep the residents safe (masks, visitations, and such). Residents and staff got their second shots in Feb. 2021 and now we feel so much better. Thank you Pearl Street for taking care of our loved ones so well.

Staff has been the best from day 1. Always wondered if my mother would ever leave her room. Went up to see her one day and she told me she had to leave my visit because bingo was starting.

The staff are kind and caring and work really hard to make everyone feel welcome and included. My Dad enjoys the many activities that are offered daily.

Great place for the elderly. My granddad goes here and the services here are great. They have activities for the elderly such as balloon volleyball and crossword. They also have a special place with elderly with dementia. I recommend this place to put your grandparents or parents.

My aunt has lived in the Reflections program for almost 3 years. She is independent and social save for her memory. She loves the activities, music, dancing, BINGO and day trips. The staff is lovely, stable and caring. I rest easy knowing she is safe and engaged
September 2017
My elderly sister resided at the Pearl St Reflections unit for about a year before she passed away. Anne was diagnosed with dementia in 2012 and moved to Pearl St in 2015. It took Anne several weeks to get comfortable with her new surroundings and all that goes with such a move. I think most moves are hard for most people - with the limitations of those suffering from dementia the move seemed challenging and required a lot of TLC and attention to insure its success. The daily staff caring for the folks in the Reflections unit did a very very good job. Not an easy job for most people to do but Pearl St hired well - I really liked the men and women helping the residents. These folks cared deeply, engaged the residents and made everyone as comfortable as possible. Over the year I observed improvements in both the nursing staff and some management positions - the nursing staff did a nice job working with the Reflection residents (Anne could be grumpy about taking meds etc). Other staff improvements solidified the overall uplift across activities, office workers and virtually all areas - I have only high praise for the Residence at Pearl St organization and people.

My Dad has been living at Pearl St. for four months and it was a pretty seamless transition. As a family, we have peace of mind knowing that he is cared for, has delicious food and people he can socialize with. My Dad enjoys participating in the activities and has felt welcomed by everyone. When asked how he feels about Pearl St. he says: everyone is so nice here. My family will attest to that as well...we are always greeted warmly by all of the staff as well as welcomed to join in and participate in the activities; whether it is a game of Bingo or Horse Racing it is great to see residents, staff and family alike laughing, joking and having some fun.
