Notice all reviews are old: The worst they will tell you how they will bring you to Dr appt.'s but don't tell you only 10 mile radius and that they can only take you 2 days a week. The food is the worst. My family member has been living there for 2 months and still hasn't been able to get any physical therapy. They will tell you that they will do a lot of things for you which they will for an additional charge. Please do not put you family member here because it is the worst!

Wow this community has the nicest people I am just amazed at how welcoming the staff and residents are. Park like setting. movie theatre, walking trails, Bistro, Anytime Dining....hair salon. Studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms this is a dream for families and the residents!

Just had a visit with my mother-in-law. I am very impressed by the care, attentiveness and responsiveness of the employees at Atria Merrimack Place. Service is excellent, food is very good, the place is beautifully maintained and my beloved family member is happy, safe and well-cared for. Very well done.

I have worked at Atria for over 2 years now and I can safely say I am proud to work where I do. I love my residents and their families, and the dedication of the staff to ensure the safety and happiness of the residents. I hope one day when my family gets older or myself, I have the opportunity to live in a place as caring as Atria! If youre looking for a place for your loved one, I highly suggest Merrimack Place.

My sister was diagnosed with Stage Four Glioblastoma Brain Cancer in July of 2015. She was 58 years old. Single and with no immediate family able to care for her, Atria and their amazing staff stepped into our lives and saved the day. (After two brain surgeries and multiple rounds of chemo and radiation.) Pricey and worth it...! My sis was transferred to a hospice facility on May 15,2020.... During the COVID crisis, the staff and directors of Atria were amazing and capable. I highly recommend this lovely place and send love and thanks to all residents and staff up there in Newburyport.

Top notch facilities, 5 star dining experiences, amazing and rich social programming, but most importantly are the people that live and work here. We are so glad your mother chose to join our family! ----------------- From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by professional, warm and highly effective individuals, each assembled to sell and provide the skilled services you offer. My experience began with the careful thought and critical timing of the Sales Director. She offered me consistent and ongoing follow through, provided important information and sensitive feedback, immediately upon request. A meeting or two and nearly unfettered access to the very confident, accommodating and efficient Executive Director. She built a level of comfort in me that established the foundation of what was to come from her team of professionals. Even further, consistent support and attention given by the Resident Services Director. She, along with her staff, have immersed themselves with my mother and her care, creating such a special and imperative connection for her overall well-being. The Care Aids have added value and meaning not only in my mothers care, but to the overall quality of her days, in a considerable and exceptional way. When health and safety issues bubbled-up during my mothers transition, we received immediate intervention, quality care and specialized consideration from their Wellness Nurse. The Engage Life Director has shown ongoing, genuine attention and encouragement to get involved in the community. No less important, Culinary Director, and her staff, do an incredible job with food service, quality, variety and stellar table-service; always presented with personal and individual care for each resident. - DL, Family Member
