I recently visited the residence at Cedar Dell. I was blown away by the kindness, attentiveness and generosity of the staff. My first impression of the amenities and building itself was that the design was catered to bring quality of life to the residents that live there, they even have a little pub! I was hired to do a Mother’s Day photo shoot and I’ve done several similar gigs at nursing homes and assisted livings on the Cape& Islands.The residence at Cedar Dell by far was the most welcoming and Beautiful place that I have visited. I was blown away by the staffs attention to detail and care to the residents living there. During the photoshoot, the staff provided a whole make up station and impressive hair station, and set up and different fashion accessories for the residents to try on during our photo shoot. All of the residents genuinely seem to really enjoy living at the residence at Cedar Dell and I enjoyed conversing with each and every one of them about their lives there.

Especially Paula and Nicole. both look out for him daily, and always seem to go the extra mile for all residents that they care for. I cannot thank Paula and Nicole enough for their attention and kindness towards him. Aging can be a lonely, painful time, and there is no place to replace your own home, but Cedar Dell is the next best thing. The team here is AMAZING! Not only are they all super friendly and sweet, but they go all out for the residents. The grounds are well kept and decorated not only for every season / holiday, but also events like the superbowl. They have a ton of activities including trivia night, local bands come to play, wine and chocolate tasting, spa, gym, corn hole events, arts / crafts, group exercises, movie nights etc... its like camp for adults!! soooo much fun, but with top of the line food that always smells yummy!! I think I gain 5bpounds every time I visit!! I've expressed to friends and family that if I ever require this type of assistance, this is the place I want to go.

Recently, my friends and I visited the Residence at Cedar Dell to host a car wash fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. We spent the day scrubbing, rinsing, and drying cars while sharing laughs and conversations with the residents, many of whom came out to watch and cheer us on. I loved getting to know the seniors, hearing their stories, and exchanging smiles as we worked side by side. The event not only raised money for a cause that means so much, but it also gave us a real sense of connection and community spirit, leaving us all feeling uplifted and inspired. Theta Delta Chi is extremely grateful for the opportunity and looks forward to future visits.

A couple of times a month I get to visit the residents at Cedar Dell to lead them in Chair Yoga. It’s one of my favorite places to teach. It’s always clear that the residents are happy to be there and it’s no wonder. The facility is always bright, cheerful and clean and the staff treats everyone like family. I would like to begin by saying I'm not one to post reviews, however my dad means the world to me and this is why I am. In May 2024, my dad was diagnosed with Mod. Dimentia. As a family we needed to find a placement that could accommodate the level of care that he needed. The staff was amazing in helping us navigate this unknown territory. Our initial contact was Eva. She gave a us a tour/answered our Many questions in a kind/professional manner. The place just felt warm and like home. We also had a great experience with Rebecca. Once we decided that this was the place, Rebecca made sure that Dad's room was ready and would give us updates on dad during his transition period. The nursing staff was also excellent helping to set up med/appts. So, Dad resides in Reflections unit. In the Reflections unit the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the residents receive optimal care. I want to commend Krystina especially, because she is hands on with all the residents. She and her staff treat the residents like family, with love, respect, and dignity. My dad is thriving because of the quality of care he is receiving/as well as the social piece (activities). It is never easy to make a choice to take a mom/dad out of their home and feel confident in your decision. I have peace of mind after every visit with dad, that when I walk out the doors of Cedar Dell dad is safe and content!

I usually don't write reviews, but thought this might help anyone that has a parent w dimentia. My dad moved to the memory care unit at Cedar Dell at the end of June 2024. The staff welcomed our family and knew we had been through a challenging time, as my mom had a stroke and was my dad's caregiver. From the start, Eva and Rebecca helped initiate Dad's transition and welcomed any questions/concerns we had. Hailey the nurse helped with med mgmt/ health concerns and supplies that dad needed. In Reflections where Dad resides, Krystina and her staff go above and beyond with the residents they provide care to. Since being there, Dad has been more social, happy, and compliant. The staff will always give updates on dad's day. There are many fun activities to keep the residents engaged like crafts, music, performers, outings, etc. This place is very cozy, clean and welcoming. It is truly a blessing that we found a place that is a perfect fit for dad. After a visit, I have peace of mind knowing that dad is being well cared for. I truly believe the staff treat the residents as if it were their own family with dignity, respect, and love. Dad is comfortable, happy, and safe in his new community. Thank you!

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with the staff and some of the residents at The Residence at Cedar Dell. The staff from Reception to Nursing show compassion and empathy to every resident. They are very welcoming and accommodating during each visit! While entering their lovely facility you can see the smiles of each resident outside from a mile away. And it doesn’t stop there, they provide a daily schedule of activities and fun events, keeping residents active and engaged. I’ve had the pleasure participating in these activities with Amanda - Engagement Director and getting to know the lovely residents and seeing their joy firsthand. Recently I have been introduced to The Residence at Cedar Dell here in Dartmouth. Where I reside and have been a local resident in this beautiful community. I partnered up with Cedar Dell for the Alzhimers Association fund raising event. I am a local farmer and was asked to donate my farm fresh all natural eggs. Each time I visited the community I was greeted by the front desk who were always kind and polite. Each time i walked into the community I got a warm friendly/welcome vibe. As I got to know the residents and staff it became obvious that they were all happy to be part this community at Cedar Dell. I would highly recommend this wonderful community to my friends and family. I became such a part of this community that I was asked by the Engagement Director Amanda to present a educational talk on the natural way of raising chickens to produce natural raised eggs the way nature intended.

I am a visiting nurse that goes to different communities and facilities and I must say Cedar Dell is the best assisted living I visit. Their Reflection neighborhood is so well run. The director Krystina is amazing, you can tell that she cares deeply and values every individual resident. She is the epitome of resident/patient centered care. Pat and I have been entertaining the folks at The Residence at Cedar Dell over the past two years. The facility is always attractive and the grounds are beautiful. The residents love their music and are a fun group to perform for. It’s so rewarding to watch the staff interact with their residences during our performance. The second you walk in - it feels like home. The building, the entrance, the decor made my mother in law look at us and say -This is where I want to be. We knew she meant it after seeing many other faculties. We had never heard a positive comment before now. However she wasn’t going to be living independently, she needed the Reflections Unit for the memory impaired. We prayed we were going to feel the same way as we pushed the doorbell to enter her (possibly) new neighborhood. Cedar Dell did not disappoint and it soon became my mother in laws home. The staff is absolutely wonderful! The activities are often but you can choose to attend or not. Most important was the ability for my mother in law to get outside as much as possible. They have a beautiful area to sit and enjoy the rays of sunshine, listen to the birds and just the sound of peacefulness. I highly recommend this facility no matter what level of care you need. My mother in law picked it and she made the right decision.

I cannot say enough good things about Cedar Dell! My mother has been there almost a year now, and they have been communicative, professional, and accomodating. It has not been an easy transition for her... losing my father after 75 years of marriage this year, and never having lived on her own for her entire life. However, the staff at Cedar Dell has gone above and beyond every step of the way to ensure that she is comfortable and well cared for. My Mom has been a resident at Cedar Dell for @ 4 years, initially in the retirement community, but soon after in the memory care unit. While I recommend CD as a retirement community, and the caring and competent staff they have, I have extraordinary confidence in the memory care unit. This job is not for just anyone, but these people are amazing and truly do care. Under the guidance of Krystina Stykowski, REFLECTIONS director, residents get the very best care and stimulation possible. Her ideas and energy are stellar and her staff, almost entirely, carries out her mission. Posting on behalf of my mother There are activities throughout the day and wonderful outings every week. They have special lunches with live music and family is invited to enjoy. The director is always in touch and keeps me informed on what is happening. Nurses and helping staff are all professional and eager to help and better my husband's life. My family and I would like to thank Cheryl (Exec. Director), Rebecca (Resident Care Director), Krystina (Reflections Director), and their staff for the excellent care provided to our dad. He has lived at Cedar Dell for 5 years; the past year residing in Reflections for memory care. Krystina and her staff ensure that our dad participates in activities to keep him engaged. Recently moved my brother-in-law into the Residence at Cedar Dell. The process was seamless. Cheryl and Eva were always professional and accommodating. Every phone call, email etc returned promptly. When the actual move occurred Jesse from maintenance helped solved several issues. The level of service we have received proves that we have placed our family member under the very best care for him. He is very positive regarding his new home. I work in healthcare and this is absolutely an outstanding facility with top notch staff

The residence at Cedar Dell is a beautiful assisted living facility. The level of care and attention to detail all the staff and associates show on a daily basis surpasses my expectations. The building was clean and organized and a welcoming atmosphere with friendly smiles are apparent throughout the building. The programs at Cedar Dell seem to really tap into residents life experiences keeping them involved and happy. My husband’s grandmother spent many years at Cedar Dell, it is a wonderful facility.

My father has been a resident of the Cedars for a year now. Last year my father had a very bad fall. The nursing home told us that he was not a viable candidate for assisted living. We contacted Eva Fey and she and her nursing director, Rebecca Owen for an assessment. They felt confident that he would do well. He had a long road of recovery ahead of him, but with the help of the Cedars staff my Dad went from surviving to thriving. It's a relief knowing that he is in a safe environment, and is well cared for. Thank you, Cedars!

As the daughter of a new resident, I can share that the inquiry process/tour, onboarding and move-in are very smooth. The apartments are good-sized with modern kitchens and baths. The staff is dedicated and attentive. The facility is well-maintained and always clean, the food is excellent, and residents have a well-stocked library and lots of daily activities to participate in. 2 notes: if your loved one is moving from an A/L facility in another state, be aware that state rules vary for A/L facilities (including what staff are allowed to provide for nursing services vs. what must be hired in - like wound care and blood sugar monitoring) and recognize that most companies in the healthcare space are dealing with staff shortages/challenges so be patient, respectful and kind. PS I rarely give 5-star reviews unless I'm blown out of my shoes <wink> so this is an endorsement of the facility.

This assisted living is very clean and feels like home. The management team is awesome . Very friendly & outgoing . I noticed they treat my Mom like their own and that means a lot to me. They have a lot of activities for their residents .I would recommend this facility !!!

My mother has been living at Cedar Dell Assisted living for the last three months. She has made many friends. Her apartment is beautiful and she has her cats with her. Her quality of life has improved drastically. The staff are loving and caring. She loves all the delicious meal options. It makes me very happy to know she is happy and well cared for there. I know I chose the best place for her !!!

Moving into a new residence can be stressful, especially for a 95 year old. The entire staff at Cedar Dell were fabulous. The professionalism combined with compassion was incredible. My mother was thrilled and humbled. Her joy can be summed up in a comment she made. I know I’ve been saying I’ve lived a good and long life and I’m ready to go when the good lord wants me, but now I want to live long enough to enjoy this beautiful place. The staff at the Residences at Cedar Dell are exceptional. Not only was this true pre-Covid, but the care of residents, like my mother, during this historic, challenging, and seemingly interminable pandemic has been nothing short of legendary. The team provides excellent and timely communication with my sister and me, always extending a hand to help while remaining heroically responsive in ensuring my mother gets all the care and comfort she needs. We thank our lucky stars everyday for Cedar Dell.

My mom lives in Assisted Living at Cedar Dell. All of the staff are super helpful and friendly while assisting with her needs. They have done a good job at keeping the residents engaged with fun activities. My mom LOVES the wii bowling, mini manicures and the happy hours! The building and grounds are immaculate and nicely kept. While it's been challenging during Covid, the Cedar Dell team have done their very best at keeping their residents safe, healthy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Cedar Dell.

The Residence at Cedar Dell is a wonderful Assisted Living facility. My mother is a resident there and is very comfortable in her lovely one-bedroom apartment. Staff members, in all departments, are very attentive to her needs and offer wonderful, loving care. The property and grounds are beautifully maintained; meals are well balanced and nutritious; the activities offered the residents are quite diverse. My Mother enjoys living at The Residence at Cedar Dell and my family is pleased with the wonderful, devoted care she receives.

Moving my Mom from Florida was very stressful. Both of us were physically and mentally exhausted but the entire staff worked tirelessly and behaved as a very concerned family member to ease all of our fears. They are all part of a trained network of professionals who are all angels. Mom has been cared for, looked after, encouraged to be part of all the fun and activities offered here at the Cedars. She loves bingo, having her hair done, eating paninis at the bistro and going on outings with her friends. She is loved and I am at ease. The medical staff who come to the facility are top notch, music and other activities are fun for her and I know at the end of the day, Mom is safe, warm and among her pretty things. Perfect fit for us
