Our Dad has received wonderful care at the Cottages at Dartmouth Village. Having suffered a stroke, we wanted to bring him closer to home. He is in a closed unit with other residents that have memory needs. We were very concerned as Dad wanders. We are very happy that Dad is safe at the Cottages.

The staff at the cottages have been very good to my parents. Moving in during a pandemic is not easy but everything was handled with care. They really try to make their residents feel at ease and at home. The grounds are beautiful and very clean! I am so glad my parents are happy and well cared for.

I have known and visited The Cottages over the last 8 years of my professional career in a similar role. I have always been so impressed by the true sincerity of the employees who worked there, even though I worked for a competitor at the time. When I received a phone call asking me if I would like to come here and interview for a position, I jumped at it. I had turned down multiple offers to work elsewhere because I was very content for one, but at the same time, most other places just didnt impress me that much. They just seemed to be ordinary, mostly because of the long empty hall ways and cavernous sizes. The Cottages always felt warm and cozy, kinda like a home away from home. It almost reminds me of Old Cape Cod. Besides there meticulously manicured grounds, landscaping and beautifully appointed living spaces, it was the people who work there that ultimately helped me make my decision to come and work here. I guess the warm glow of the fireplaces inside and the fun atmosphere around the fire pit outside didnt hurt either. I couldnt be happier in my choice to make a move. I constantly tell all of my friends and family to come check out our free, fun, live events and activities. I know they werent disappointed and I dont think you will be either.

We love this place so much it has been a huge life savor for us. We moved my mother in a few months ago and I can already see a change in her. She is so happy and back to her old self. The staff here is amazing with the way they care for all their residents, it really puts my mind at ease knowing my mom is in good hands and I dont have to worry so much. Also the activities staff has been awesome as well and my mother is never bored, whether its going off to exercise class or on a scenic bus trip there is always something for her to do. I recommend this place to anyone. It is definitely a home away from home

I recently attended an outdoor event at Dartmouth Village and was extremely impressed by the grounds and courtyard at the Community. It was obvious and remarkable how attentive the Staff was with the Residents. I really like the unique layout of the separate cottages. The Staff certainly fosters a family like atmosphere. I would highly recommend seeing for yourself!!!!

I was employed at The Cottages at Dartmouth Village in memory care for about a year and it was a great experience. As a new CNA I felt very welcomed. Every manager and supervisor took time to introduce themselves and did their best to accommodate my needs throughout my experience. Not only were the managers helpful, it was also clear from the beginning that my co-workers cared immensely for the residents and did their best to provide the best care possible. I learned a lot working at The Cottages and developed meaningful relationships that I will take with me in my future endeavors.

I am an employee at the Cottages of Dartmouth Village in the memory care cottage and I have been for about a year and a half now. I cant say anything but good about the cottages. They not only give great recognition to the employees, they give amazing care to our residents which matters most! I treat my residents the way I would want my family members to be treated and they get nothing less of that! For once In my 10 years of being in the health care field and working in other facilities, I can actually say I am excited to get up, go work, and see my residents! I love every single one of them! You need to love what you do and I have never felt that way, but here I do! At the cottages, staff here are always on top of things and doing everything and anything to make this place what it is today! They are clean, persistent, loving, caring and everything in between! They have made living here for the residents always fun and enjoyable. Always thinking of new ideas-activities to engage the residents in. If I had to choose a place for a family member, the cottages would be it!

My name is Judy Patten. I have been a resident here for a year since July of 2018. I like the look and feeling of the cottages instead of one big building. The staff here have been very helpful, considerate, and caring which is so comforting! There are lots of things to get out and see-do here which keeps it from being boring. If you have to be someplace for help, this is the place to be! The rooms and apartments in the cottages are comfortable and cozy. I would recommend it to anyone.

I work for a hospice agency that serves clients at the Cottages. In that past year that I have been visiting here, I have been very impressed overall and consider the Cottages an excellent facility. They offer both independent, as well as, assisted living and memory care in a modern, clean, and beautiful setting. The Cottages are comfortable and feel like home. The grounds are very well maintained and offer open grassy spaces, patios, fire pits, and trees. An elegant community cottage offers activities, offices for the friendly staff, and the catering kitchens that offer tasty snacks and meals to residents and visitors alike. I have enjoyed both on a number of occasions. The staff is friendly, hard working, and accessible. There always seems to be fun activities that are geared towards the residents, whatever stage of life they may be at. It is a pleasure to work here as a vendor, with the staff being always cooperate and willing to partner on joint programs such as memorial services and Veterans ceremonies. Definitely a top notch facility with a heart for the community that calls the Cottages at Dartmouth Village home.

I visit the Cottages of Dartmouth very often, I work for a nursing company and have residents living there. The Cottages of Dartmouth has such a warm inviting feeling. The employees are helpful with any requests I have. They have a great activities staff that interact with the residents and every holiday is celebrated with much enthusiasm. The food is delicious and they cater to the residents tastes. The staff nursing department are involved and take wonderful care of the residents as well. They recently updated the outdoor lawn area and it looks beautiful. I am sure the residents with have a great upcoming summer. I am very fortunate to work for a company that works with The Cottages of Dartmouth.

I am so excited to part of the TEAM at the Cottages at Dartmouth Village. This community is a great place to work and also to live. Having worked in the senior living industry for many years, I have been impressed by the wonder activities and dinning experience that are an every day experience for residents!! I love the intimacy of the each cottage. They are truly home where friends and family gather. It is also fun to see the residence come together in the community center !! It is obvious that the residents are receiving wonderful care provided by a dedicated staff!!

I have been a volunteer here for a year and it has been a rewarding experience. The residents seem to be really pleased with the quality of life and the staff members are outgoing, kind, and professional. Overall, this is a a great assisted living facility with plenty of activities hosted by great staff.

Hi, my name is Lenny and live at the Cottages at Dartmouth Village. First I would like to make it very clear, I am not a paid employee. After visiting many other communities with my beloved wife we came to the conclusion that the Cottages at Dartmouth Village was the best place to call home. I have been here for over four years and I could not be any happier. What I have to say comes from my heart. What I love most about this place is the people, everyone here is so friendly with me. They all treat me like I am family. The staff is well organized and they really care about the well being of each and every one if their residents. Our management is very professional and well structured. Not to mention, the activities and events. They all exceed my expectations. I have visited so many nursing homes and have observed the activities they have for their residents, they can't compare to the Cottages. What really sold me on this place was the well manicured landscaping, It was the first thing I noticed. I urge you all to stop by and visit, you wont regret it. You can even ask for me, Lenny. My name is Ed Fernandes and my father, Edwin Sr, was a memory care/assisted living resident at Brookdale Dartmouth for 2 years, now The Cottages at Dartmouth Village, until his death on January 11th of this year. When it was time to choose a facility for Dads ailing memory, I was apprehensive because of all the stories I had heard regarding elder care and nursing homes in general. This facility was recommended to me, so I decided to take a tour. May I say, I was I impressed and overwhelmed with the pristine condition of the cottages, the care Dad would receive, the dedication and devotion of the staff, as well as the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that surrounded us. I was, and still am, convinced it is truly a unique and professional place and I could not have asked for a better place for Dad. It was a relief to have Dad live here and I could sleep at night knowing he was in good hands, receiving the best care possible. The menus, which offered a good variety, were carefully thought out with nutrition in mind and were absolutely delicious! Daily activities were amazing and designed not only for memory care, but were great fun! Many outings, entertainment events and social hours were planned on a weekly basis, as well as trips to local restaurants and sightseeing. Things like birthday parties for each resident, were done perfectly and personally. His medications were handled with perfection and he could even get a haircut right here at the facility ! I, without reservations, highly recommend The Cottages at Dartmouth Village as the best facility for elder care. Nothing even comes close !

My father spent the final years of his life at the Cottages at Dartmouth Village. During those years, he enjoyed friendships not only with other residents but with the caring and compassionate staff. Many considered him their dad. The elder years require more than just physical assistance. They require a social setting where seniors feel at home. The staff here do everything they can to make the Cottages a safe and comfortable home.
