I've recently been working with the team at Nouveau Marc. I've enjoyed meeting the wonderful residents. They are so welcoming and friendly. The staff has so much love for each other and their family, they are the heart of the community. This is a wonderful caring community and they know how to prepare and get through the hurricane.

I have moved out but I miss my former residents very much. I will miss the Bible study. I will also miss the singing church choir. In general I will miss the community and if allowed I will be back to visit.

The best place to have my uncle living. The staff and residence are very welcoming, and the accommodations, food and services are superior to others with a much higher price point. I am blessed that my uncle has a new family!

I have been living in Nouveau Marc for eleven months. The unusual architecture of our 3 level building makes it unique from other senior living facilities visited. The freshly painted outside is very appealing. We have a curved covered front porch with rocking chairs and benches and I have spent a lot of time rocking and chatting or viewing the beautiful landscaping with colorful seasonal blooming flowers and crepe myrtle trees. I am extremely pleased with my apartment. The square footage is more than other senior facilities I visited. I am thoroughly enjoying my private patio, watching the birds and squirrels play. A big plus for me living here is I have saved so much money by not having to pay for utilities. The free basic Cox Cable offers me many more channels than I had with basic AT&T for which I paid close to $200 per month. The lobby/living room is very impressive; it is open and inviting with an upper balcony and curved staircase. We have a piano which several residence play for their pleasure and ours. Coffee is always available in the living room. We have had some wonderful entertainment in our living room. Lottie, our Activity Director, does a great job decorating for holidays and special events. She works diligently to prepare and coordinate activities for all of us, which is a very diverse group. The dining room is on the third floor and is open, bright, and cheerful with a very nice view making dining a pleasure. Our Chef has been creative in providing delicious, well balanced nutritious meals three times a day. We are provided menus and have four choices of entrees for the noon and evening meals. The dining room service is similar to restaurant dining. My favorite meal is breakfast and one should not miss it. Staff are professional, friendly, caring, respectful, courteous, attentive, and know each of the residents by name and many times anticipates the needs of the resident. This makes me feel important and a part of a family community. We have excellent in-house nursing services available for a fee for those who need extra care maintaining their independence. I availed myself of these services for about a month after returning to my apartment following surgery. We each have an emergency button to wear that alerts police, firemen, and emergency medical assistance 24 hours a day. I have used this service three times since being here for medical emergencies and I am grateful for it and the quick responses received. We have a beauty saloon and our Cosmetologist, Patrina, offers a wide variety of services and hours to accommodate the residents at a nominal fee. I have utilized several of her services and have been well please. The first two questions I asked the sales manager when I visited Nouveau Marc were, "Do you evacuate during hurricanes and do you allow pets". The answer to both of those questions was "Yes". Nouveau Marc evacuates its residents without charge, the 8 other facilities visited/interviewed charged a fee as much as $5,000 to evacuate and you still had to pay your rent. I had to have a place that allowed pets as I have a grand-dog that visits me occasionally. I like that we are centrally located to shopping areas, grocery stores, dry cleaners, hardware stores, banks, car washes, libraries, coffee shops and restaurants. So we don't have a swimming pool. How many seniors really swim that much? The YMCA is very close to us and it has a swimming pool. I have been pleased with Nouveau Marc since I moved in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The residents are friendly and for the most part helpful. Most of the time I like the food and with four choices to choose from at each meal I always find something to eat. If you're looking for a place to call home, try Nouveau Marc

Tried answering your message but unable so giving you my experience here. I first moved in October of 2014 with my husband. stayed until January of 2021. moved because of my husband needing more help. i stayed with my husband until October of 2021and moved back here. missed all my friends and social events. glad to be back "home". Recommend nouveau marc to everyone i know.

Enjoyed meeting Denise who was professional, personable and knowledgable. She showed me the very inviting facility which felt clean with nice gardens and dining area, and a professional and friendly staff. It is well worth considering for my loved one who is still independent but can use a few conveniences that the facility offers.

My experience with Nouveau Marc so far is only a tour of the community, but it looks great and I love the independent living with options and people around when needed. Sherie is very knowledgeable and helpful with all our questions and a wonderful tour. I hope my family member choices Nouveau Marc for her upcoming move and I get a chance to be there more often and see all the great advantages in action.

My grandmother has been very happy here. It has taken a lot of worry away from our family. She loves the meals and the variety of activities, and its one of the more affordable options around (very important for her). The only downside has been billing - they have told us twice that her rent wasnt paid on time when it absolutely was, and wed receive nasty letters about it. The office staff has been pretty nonchalant about their errors. If they could get that aspect of it fixed, it would be a 5 star community.

My parents are well cared for, their apartment is cleaned weekly, the staff are courteous and attentative, excellent nursing service is available, the lobby is beautiful, all holidays are beautifully celebrated, and the food in the dining room is great.The residents just coulnt ask for better living !
