If you need any type of assistance Inspired Living is not for you. They feel 30 min. is an appropriate wait time after pushing the call button that residents wear. Unfortunately, my mother's waits were much longer and often no one showed at all. After multiple meetings, emails, phone calls, and promises from staff we were forced to remove my mother as it was not a safe place for her.

I am so thankful we found Inspire for our father. Amanda was very helpful and knowledgeable & caring during this extremely hard time for dad & our family. My mother moved in Christmas week. She was there only two months before she passed away. Her exact quote to her friends and family was “It’s like living in a 5 star hotel. The people are very nice, helpful and kind. The place is absolutely beautiful.” As her daughter, I cannot ask for better words from her for the last two months of her life. She made new friends and participated in several of the activities. As a family member, the staff was very loving and caring to us as well. Thank you all at Inspired Living at Kenner for everything you have done for my mother and family. I am very blessed and grateful for my mother and the family to have such a wonderful experience.

I am so thankful for the kind and professional assistance provided by Amanda Gisclair. She guided us every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition for my father into his new home. Jennifer Holmes and her nursing staff also give loving attention each day to my father and communicate any needs or changes in his health. Dean is wonderful as he drives dad to appointments and Barbara at the front desk always makes me feel like family when I call. This place is great. Everyone who works here is both attentive and inviting. Amanda was amazing. She answered any and all questions I had, and she even answered some I didn't think to ask! I'm so glad I was able to bring my dad here. I'm not worried about him getting the care he needs, because I know this place will do a great job. All the residents I saw looked happy and always said hello. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits, which is the type of place I'd want my father to stay. I'd highly recommend Inspired Living to anyone who is looking for a wonderful assisted living facility for their loved ones.

Recently my mother passed away at ILK in memory care. During her 3 years at ILK, because I live far away, I had to rely on Jennifer and all the Inspired Living Kenner staff to provide my mother with comfort and peace. Her disease often caused her fear and trouble, but your team patiently found ways to soothe her and help her be as happy as she could be. In the last 2 years, during hospice care, she was seldom ill, in fact only near the last weeks did she have to deal with a skin irritation. I wonder at this since she was primarily on bed rest for two years. That alone speaks to the level of care given at ILK. The constant telephone updates for every little change were great comfort to me. Also, during the hurricane and Covid19 situations, I appreciated Campbell's continual phone messaging and the proactive steps to maintain as normal an environment as possible. Thanks to you all 🙂

Amanda was a great resource for helping me with my client and family. She was very prompt in responding to any type of communication - text, email, etc. This is SO important, as the window of time for getting questions answered can sometimes be very short. Additionally, Amanda was very thorough in her replies to any requests for information. Aside from the "business" - side, Amanda is personable, genuine, and honest - a very good "face" for the Inspired Living community.

Wonderful staff and place for my Mom. I can't stress enough how Amanda Gisclair made the whole sales and move-in experience seamless, calm and a easy transition. This is even more important for residents in Memory Care, like my Mom. There are so many activities and outings for them. A nurse is onsite 24/7. Campbell McClure, the Memory Care Director, spent time with Mom and myself going over what her needs are. He is always visible on the unit. Mom has a great big smile on her face whenever I visit her!! Thank you to the Inspired Living - Kenner team!

The southern flex rehab team would like to recognize our plants operation assistant and hero Scott Gill. We rely on him to assist and install all apartment modifications and recommendations to improve the quality of life for Inspired Livings residents. He is always happy to help, eager to assist and he is a vital part of the day to day operations at Inspired. In the community, we depend on him for all our handy man and tool related needs. We order the necessary equipment and Scott gets it done. We truly could not provide optimal therapy service with out him. He prides himself on his service to residents and families.

Went to visit a family member at Inspired Living. I was impressed. Nice facility and workers were very friendly and helpful. Residents looked happy and my uncle loves living there. He loves the food and the Wine Down Wednesdays with entertainment. He also loves the driver named Dean because they talk about football all the time. His only complaint was that a couple of times his clean clothes that they wash for you came back wrinkled, but after he addressed it with the administrator he never had that problem again! Overall great place and recommended!

Inspired Living has far exceeded my familys expectations. The staff and caregivers provide exceptional care and monitor my Dad closely. I live in Atlanta and I have great communication with the staff regarding the well being of my father. My family visits and has dinner with my Dad in the dining area several times a week. The facility is state of the art, clean and well furnished. Inspire Living care givers and staff provide a very caring, patient, safe and positive atmosphere which helps my family know that my Dad is in the best place in New Orleans.

My dads stay started as respite care and turned into a permanent stay. The ambiance is like a hotel and he loves the staff; theyve been amazing. They all knew him by name very quickly and were looking out for him. At meals they automatically bring him a cup of black coffee, like a hometown cafe youve gone to all your life. There are daily actities to keep everyone engaged, not sitting in their room. This big change has been about as smooth as it could be.

When my sister and I visited Inspired Living before we took my Mom to visit we were both surprised and excited to see a completely different type of place. When we took Mom, she loved it. We visited many other retirement communities both on the southshore and northshore but never found one that felt as good as Inspired Living Kenner. The staff was genuinely friendly and Mom spoke to many residents during our many visits and got very positive feedback from them. She made her decision after a great deal of research and she chose Inspired Living. Now she can't wait to move!
