As a long-time resident (in my 6th yr.), I can attest to the excellent food - well prepared and good variety, very attractive facility, apartments custom designed by residents, underground parking, friendly and helpful staff, highly rated Health Center on third floor (easily accessible by family and visitors), and friendly, helpful residents. It has become home for me, but I can still participate in outside activities and have a small pet should I desire. There are tax benefits, many movies, outside entertainers and two monthly speakers.

Our late mother moved into the independent living section of Claridge Court, enjoying a very positive experience with well organized activities, films and speakers, work out classes, art classes and more. The dining room is lovely, and she enjoyed her meals there. Her apartment and the entire building and campus were always very well maintained. Claridge employees were helpful, professional and kind. As her health declined, our mother moved to the Health Center. Here, as she became more dependent on care, the ongoing kindness of Claridge staff - from aides to nursing staff, dining employees, activities and social work staff and more - was very evident. There are too many individuals to name, but we are ever grateful for their care and concern for our mother’s comfort. Communication between Claridge and our family was prompt and helpful, and any requests we made were attended to professionally. We highly recommend Claridge Court.

My husband and I moved into Claridge Court about two years ago. We are very happy here. It is always difficult to leave one's home but what we love about Claridge is the size. With about 130 residents, one gets to know everyone. We have found the people to be very friendly and interesting. The food is very good and many activities are provided for those who wish to sign up.

After eight years of living at Claridge Court, I can emphatically say I love it. It is a small enough community I know every resident by name and feel they are my caring neighbors. Before moving here it got pretty lonely in my home alone, especially in the long winter months.Many of us love bridge, gin rummy, Mahjong, Magic Train and other games to entertain us. We have outside entertainers come in frequently.There is a fabulous fitness center and exercise is constantly encouraged with games, contests etc. This is probably the reason many of us are living extra years. I havent personally experienced the Health Center but reports from those who have are glowing. We can go there to recuperate from surgeries and hospital stays. Physical therapy can be done there, or, in some cases, in our apartments.The food is fantastic (!). I have especially enjoyed some of the new vegetarian dishes that have been introduced recently but can still fall back on the filet or fried chicken we all love. Jane Burns

My wife and I have enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at Claridge Court. We marveled that the staff all knew our names within a few days, and many of the other residents did as well.We didnt expect to be here! I was on the Board of another excellent local community for ten years and always expected to live there when the time was right. For several reasons, that didnt work out, and now we are delighted we decided instead on Claridge Court.Our meal service is excellent and the hours are convenient. The apartments are quiet and comfortable. The exercise classes and equipment are good, plentiful and available to all. Other things we like are the friendly atmosphere and Friday hor doeuvres in the Pub, library in-house and across the street, movies on weekends, and transportation to local restaurants with our chef.The obvious conclusion: We highly recommend Claridge Court!

If you dont want: To live in a small community (120 units) under one roof in a great location.Great food and service.To meet and make friends with really neat and fun people.To have access to a 5 star health center.To enjoy the benefits of a talented and friendly staff.Then CLARIDGE COURT is not for you.My wife and I have lived the experience for six years andClaridge Court has exceeded our high expectations.

My mother stayed there while recovering from a broken hip. The food was incredible! and the security staff helped us at all hours, what a bunch of pros. Best care in the city.

Fine dining! Had a superb dinner Friday night with my family in the Grill. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl (Sesame crusted tuna, sushi rice, fresh vegetables, sriracha aioli) and it was as good as any restaurant. Outstanding dish!

My mother has lived at Claridge Court for years and had nothing but the best care. She had a beautiful luxury apartment, complete with gourmet meals and fun activities (only if she wanted them), but also incredible help when she needed a little extra. It enabled her to live an independent life knowing someone was keeping an eye on her only when she needed it but without being intrusive. The attitude of the staff is wonderful. I used to stay with her when I came from out of town and it felt like being in a 5 star hotel.She has now moved to the health center on the top floor. One of the best reasons to live here is that if a resident needs rehab for a temporary issue, or a permanent one, they can go upstairs to the health center and receive superior care in the same facility they have come to call home. Claridge Court has had one of the best reputations for decades. I wouldnt want my mother anywhere else.
