Addington Place is a great community for assisted living and memory support. The building is always clean and the residents are active and enjoying life! Dawn is so easy to work with and takes time to answer questions.

Closest feeling to home I found! I moved my Mom here a few months ago from another facility and am sooo happy I did. It is inviting and comfortable when you walk in the door. The Memory Care neighborhood is a great setup. Mom spends so much time out of her room. We go for walks all around the facility and the staff greet her by name. There is always activity going on! You will notice the difference compared to other places the minute you walk in.

This is by far one of the best Assisted Living communities in Johnson County. The community is beautiful, the staff is always friendly and helpful and you can tell the residents feel at home! Well done Addington Place!

I’d like to give a ‘Shout Out’ to Jose at Addington Place in Prairie Village! What a great maintenance guy! When Dads AC unit quit working properly he replaced it immediately! Love this place!

My family and I cant say enough good things about Addington Place in Prairie Village! We moved both our parents here (summer of 2019), since then weve experienced health issues with Mom who has since passed (not from Covid!). This staff is exceptional! Starting with Margaret at front desk, Julie, Director of Nursing, Emily, Dawn, Darin, Dimple. Everyone became a part of our family. Their apartment is beautiful, activities exceptional (yea Susan!), facility is top notch. Not too big, clean, very well decorated. I must add, this staff has weathered through this pandemic with complete professionalism, followed all protocols. We love this place! ❤

I moved my mother into Addington 10 months ago. She enjoys being there, is always busy and has made many friends. The facility is clean and well maintained. It allows me great comfort knowing she is safe and well taken care of.

After visiting several assisted living facilities in a search to find the right fit for our parents, we decided on Addington Place of Prairie Village. We like the layout of the building, and having everyone on the same floor is a plus. The hallways are spacious, and we love the friendly staff members, who seem to know everyones name. We especially liked the park-like atmosphere of the grounds, with a walking trail all the way around the facility. Our parents appreciate having access to courtyards if they want to be outside. It was clear that a lot of residents enjoy living there. The living suites are a nice size and it did not have the feel of a dorm room. They have communal dining, and can also offer private family dining. Therapies, Hair Salon, and Mani-Pedi services are all done within the facility. Its a lovely facility with caring and attentive staff.

We were so happy to find this gem last fall, needing to move a parent to KC to be nearby. From the introduction, leasing, move-in , to observing the day-to-day care, positive staff, neighbors, and adding on one medical emergency dad experienced needing urgent attention from Addingtons nurse and quick ambulance to hospital it is ALL REASSURING, professional and a comfort. Please know this is a one story, attractive and manageable home for your loved one! The size and gorgeous neighborhood cannot be beat.

Kind and caring staff who are willing to help families in all circumstances. Very clean and mom says food is great. Looked at many assisted living facilities in the area and this was at the top of my list for cost, staffing and facility size. Neighborhood is beautiful.

I moved my 89 year old mom into the assisted living side of Addington Place several weeks ago. She had lived in her home for over sixty years and was adamant that she did not want to go. She recently told me that she is very pleased with the care she receives there. I am so impressed with the continuity of care she receives. The staff has gotten her to agree to things I have suggested to her for years. She responds well to their compassionate, nurturing approach.

My parents have both been moved into this place over the last two years. They are doing great, with good healthy meals and excellent care. The staff is attentive and always kind. A lot of activities, but can also have privacy in own rooms.

We only moved my father in early this week. I can speak to the welcoming, inclusive way the staff treats dad and all of our family. The smaller size of this community is such a positive gift for my fathers first move to KC, and assisted living.

Our family would like to say thank you for the special care provided to our mother who was a resident at Addington Place in Prairie Village, KS for the last three years. She received a lot of great care but we would like to give particular thanks to the people who enriched her life, both during her stay, and at the end of her life. From the aides who checked on her regularly, the cook who made the salads for her at lunch, to the nursing director who helped coordinate her care - we are so appreciative. AP has evolved into a wonderful assisted living facility with a staff who cares about the people who live there. Well done!

In July of 2018 my father moved into Addington place. When we toured the facility I was impressed by how clean it was (and still is), The staff and residents are friendly and caring. He is eating better and has even gained a couple of pounds. I feel relief he is taking his medications and I can email the nurse with any healthcare concerns. His mood has improved and he enjoys taking part in the activities.

Addington Place is attractive, clean and safe for seniors requiring assisted living and memory care. My clients are happy here, and they get the attention they require because the community is small enough to meet their needs. They feel special here, and they love the food! I will continue sending my clients here with confidence that they will be treated with respect in a pleasant home environment that brings joy to their lives.

After visiting several long term care communities we moved our mother into Addington Places memory care "neighborhood". She has been there almost a year and we have had a wonderful experience. They offer a lot of social events for the families and daily activities to help mom stay active and connected. We are so pleased we found Addington Place, not only has mom made many good friends but we have made life time friends with the families we met here. The food is GREAT and all the staff are very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable!!! AAAAA+

My mother has been at Addington Place in Prairie Village for over a year. She lives in one of the Memory neighborhoods and I could not be more happy with the caring nurses, CNAs and visiting Nurse Practitioner that visits twice a week! Lots of activities, with two Directors coordinating activities for all different levels. The staff is very friendly ready to help whenever you have a question. Mom and I have enjoyed many an afternoon on one of the many porches with rockers and fountains. I love the way the Memory Care neighborhoods are set up with the apartments surrounding the living areas. Mom and I enjoy the live music they have each Friday Afternoon! My mom also enjoys "Lunch Brunch" when her and her friends go out for lunch on Wednesdays. The food is wonderful and they have lots of events thru the year that includes the whole family. Mom and I have made many new friends and I enjoy visiting her at her new home!
