Greenwood is absolutely amazing!! My mom has been here since December. Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful! I truly believe they care for her and watch out for her. I would highly recommend it for anyone! They also offer so many services that allow people to stay in independent living. What a great place a fantastic people!

Trying to find a retirement community for my parents has been quite the ordeal. I'm sure everyone can relate to that. The process is overwhelming. Then I stumbled on Holiday Greenwood Terrace. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I had found a hidden gem. The staff is simply amazing. Calli is just the sweetest person in the world and is perfectly matched to her position. She made ME feel right at home and I am not the one moving in. Her patience and people skills are top notch. Everyone there has bent over backwards to accommodate my requests, questions and any possible concerns. By the time I brought my parents in, I had already shared Holiday Greenwood with several other prospects. The place just feels like home. Of course, you can say that everyone is so nice because they want you in the doors, but I have talked with and seen the residents. This place is the real deal. Everyone is so happy here and they sincerely consider this place home. A load has been taken off of me and my siblings because we all feel comfortable in knowing that our parents will be so well taken care of and happy. Thank you Holiday Greenwood and thank you to Calli. Give them a call and set up a tour - you won't be sorry. I forgot to add that the grounds and the location of the community are just wonderful. The flowers, the trees, the birds, the green space, everything is just so peaceful and serene. If you are lucky enough to get a balcony - you are in for a treat, I promise you!! It is close to everything you could need, and yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city.

Moved in June 13th. Staff is super friendly and willing to assist with any need. Once we were settled the other residents became like family. Enjoying living here. Convenient to any shopping you might need.

My mom has been living at Greenwood Terrace for 3 years. It's been a wonderful experience and she has been very happy. We are now getting ready to move her to a one bedroom in the same building and Janet has been wonderful and so helpful. She's happy to speak to me on the phone and answer all of my questions. The whole staff is awesome and so caring for the residents that live there. I couldn't ask for a better place for my mom to live. She feels at home and that is huge!!

Greenwood Terrace has been wonderful. Ever since I helped my friend move in, their staff has been attentive and helpful with all of our questions that come up. They have a lot of activities for the residents, and are great at letting everyone know what special events are going on through their newsletters. They have a library that's serviced by the Johnson County library system, they have an in-house salon, and they have in-house physical therapy. It's a clean and welcoming facility.

Janet, I want to thank you and all your staff for the work and support you’ve shown Jeanie in her move to Greenwood Terrace. From the time we first met Callie and she showed her what was available. Her friendly caring demeanor went a long way in Jeanie wanting to move here. Then as we got to know Monik we found the she takes pride in being true to her word. She assured Jeanie that she would be happy with the apartment. And she is. And when I met Mark the other day I was comfortable knowing you have a gem there. Jeanie has always been very cautious in financial matters and Francie eased her concerns. Then of course there is you. You go out of the way to make Greenwood an inviting place for the residents. This is very important to Jeanie, her sister and me. You have a big responsibility here and are able to handle it and still make each resident feel they are special. I was quite impressed the day of my tour by the leadership staff and others I met. The day I moved in I was greeted by several nice residents and staff members. I have found residents to be friendly. Staff members are willing to help any way possible. My apartment is cozy and being able to decorate it as I wish has made it my home. I plan to remain at Greenwood Terrace for a good long time.

I took my cousin for her new home here recently. Wow!: Just coming in the building, having lunch, being served with such great smiles simply lifts up ANYONE’S spirit! Every staff person serves in every capacity, with crossovers of tasks and they do it all with great pleasure and smiles and kindness.

My sister Phyllis is 89 years old has been at Greenwood since February of 2023. Her apartment is really nice. It had just been completed remodeled. She has a balcony that goes around 2 sides. Staff has been great to deal with. They treat her very well. I try to have dinner with her once a week and staff treats me as if I were a resident. She broke her leg in February and there is Physical Therapy on site. Initially she was unable to do some things for herself but there is facilities on site that was able to provide her with the extra care she needed. The PT that is onsite has also worked with her insurance to make sure she is receiving the appropriate pt care. Our family is very happy with Greenwood Terrace. Ray Farrell

My wife’s mother has lived here for about a year and we have all been very pleased with the experience. The staff is very professional and patient with her. Janet is a wonderful director and truly cares about the people who live there. Francie is also wonderful to deal with, always so helpful. The maintenance is always very quick and professional with repairs and any other requests for service. I would recommend this living community to others who have someone they love who is still independent but may need some extra care and attention.

My Dad recently moved into Greenwood Terrace in Lenexa. We had an excellent move-in experience from the first contact from Megan, the Sales Manager, to the first day in the community when we were warmly invited by Monik, the Assistant Manager. My Dad's apartment had been recently renovated and had new carpet, a new refrigerator, sink, and counters in the bathroom and kitchen. Dad is enjoying the food and the freedom to visit friends and family. This was a great move!

The community at Greenwood Terrace is fun, relaxing, inviting and charming. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. Activities are well planned and fun. The food is well balanced and delicious. The staff members are friendly, helpful and they feel like they are family.

It's been less than a week since we moved my mother-in-law to her own apartment at Greenwood and already the change in her outlook has been amazing. She is so much happier being with people and having great meals and activities to do and look forward to! The process of moving was so easy, and the staff have been absolutely fantastic. All of the residents we've talked to have been happy, engaged, active and clearly enjoying their lives at Greenwood: there's no better way of knowing that this is a great place! It's such a relief to know that she has people to do things with and to take care of her. The time we've spent with her at Greenwood has been wonderful, and we are really looking forward to spending more time there with her in the future.

I have been here for one year and have enjoyed the friendships developed. I feel safe and respected by the management team. The only concern I have is with the cooks...they do not serve the food hot, not even warm. The second concern is that housekeeping has been very sporadic...when we signed up, we were told that housekeeping would be weekly...well, most of the time we don't know when they are coming and find numerous mistakes when they do come, i.e: not enough towels.

Caring and kind staff work very hard to provide a safe, engaged community for the residents. There are a variety of activies available throughout the week, and the in-house PT/OT/SLP team (Legacy) are great. They seem to be working diligently to increase staffing, as is everyone else in the U.S.

I moved my parents here from out of state so I could take care of them closer to me. Greenwood Terrace has felt like family from day one. My dad passed in 2020 & they love on my mom like she was theirs. Jae, the new cleaning lady for the 2nd floor, who also helps serve in the dining room, THE BEST we’ve had since they moved in! And mom loves her!!

This was the perfect place for my father as he moved through phases of being independent to needing more help. He loved being social, participating in activities and community meals; but always enjoyed being able to retreat to the privacy of his room. The management team treated him with kindness. As his caregiver, I appreciated the open communication I received from the staff and was invited to share feedback along the way through surveys. The Interim services offered me the flexibility to tailor wellness services for my father as his needs changed that were affordable. I chose to keep my father in Greenwood Terrace as we moved into his final days with the assistance of Interim Hospice. I am grateful for that decision.

My parents loved loving here. Great staff, good meals, wonderful activities and entertainment programs, excellent ancillary medical staff and hospice services, and wonderful residents. All ranges of residents and level of care here... A transition in place facility. You are treated like family and it feels like home.

Grandparents have lived here for three years. New remolde is great. They have a nice two bedroom apartment and have been through all service levels (no home nursing staff coming in to now having them coming in for several times a day for one of them). Management waxes and wanes but usually is decent and has never been poor.
