Friends Fellowship Community is a fantastic place to live. The facility is beautiful and the staff are the absolute best. The assurance of knowing we will have a home as long as we live and with transitions of care available as we need them is a big relief to us. You really need to visit or talk to one of the residents to fully understand how magical it is here.

I have lived at Friends Fellowship for 5 years and my partner has been here in a condo for 11 years. We couldn't be happier anywhere else. We don't have to do yardwork or shovel snow. We have plenty of activities to go to and socialize with other couples our age. We love the sense of community and how caring and kind the residents are. The staff is excellent and attentive to all of our needs. I like to tell people that it is where the nice people live. Aging is a challenge and we can all gain support here both physically and mentally.

FFC has been my home now for seven years. My wife had entered the memory care section in 2013. She passed in 2019. All during her time and now my time the feeling I have is one of love. My motto is "FFC, where love lives". I get to receive love and give love every day at my home. There is nowhere else in my experience that compares to FFC.

I have been a FFC resident for 14 years and have not regretted it one bit. The caring, committed staff, the Life Lease program, Assisted Residential, Health Care Center and the Memory Care Program all insure that I will have the care I need as time goes by. For those who feel that this may be too expensive for you I would suggest you do the math before you make that decision. Over the long haul this is very affordable.

My wife and I moved to independent housing at Friends Fellowship Community in 2016. We absolutely love it. We have developed a close friendship with many of the staff and their support and friendliness is outstanding. My wife's mother lived here for 12 years and moved from an assisted living apartment to the Courtyards due to dimentia. We cannot say enough positive things about the great care and compassion she had received from all the staff. We had looked at other facilities and Friends Fellowship is by far the best.

Friends Fellowship Community is a unique all-inclusive retirement facility for those fifty-five and older. My wife and I have several friends and former colleagues who reside at FFC, and they have encouraged us to move there. Make a visit to see this beautiful facility. Tonight has been a night to reflect on the last year. I wanted to make the move to Friends Fellowship Community Inc. for several reasons. My life would become easier. No yard work, no snow plowing, no house repairs, etc. I must say I felt a little guilty last winter when someone cleaned my sidewalk and drive. I’d always done that. There are things that aren’t done as I did them or as quickly as I’d like but I’m not the only person here. It’s hard to say what I like most. The residents and employees have all made me feel a part of the community. Everyone is so friendly and caring! I am super impressed by the young people working here, especially the teenagers in dietary and the young adults in Life Enhancement. They are our friends and not just an employee. They truly care about us. They spend time with us, joking and acting silly. Today we were shooting the deer. The 2 legged Life Enhancement deer were hiding in the forest of Christmas trees as some of the residents shot them with nerf darts. So so much fun! I won’t mention names but there are 2 employees that I can go to when something personal is going on. I won’t name them but they are special and they know who they are! Yes I’m glad I moved here for those reasons and knowing my future care is secure.

Friends Fellowship Community is truly a hidden gem here in Richmond and the surrounding area. This community offers all levels of care . all on the same campus. What peace of mind this is. No worries about moving to another community as more care is needed. The team at FFC truly cares about the residents.they become our family.

We moved my mother into Friends Fellowship after a small stroke in order for her to get therapy in preparation of returning home. Dana and the administrative staff were excellent in helping us make the transition. Every member of the staff has been incredibly helpful. I don't think I've been to a more friendly place. Each time you pass a staff member they look you in the eye, smile, and greet you. We would highly recommend Friends Fellowship.

I really think it’s appalling that Friends Fellowship had the audacity to raise the rates their residents pay after spending millions of dollars on remodeling a facility that already was nicer than most in the area. Seems like a spend and make someone else pay scenario.

We moved our uncle into Friends Fellowship over 2 years ago. With out a shadow of a doubt it was the best decision we could've ever made. The whole staff is amazing, but from day one wendy in the front office has been incredible on every level. Being 3000 miles away it sure is great to have a place that you trust with a love one like Friends Fellowship!!!
