The Forum at the Crossing is a hidden little gem! The manager Jeff went above and beyond to get my parents the perfect apartment and location for their needs. It is a gorgeous facility with many amenities, and all of the staff that I came into contact with were so friendly and helpful. My parents were very stressed about downsizing and moving into a facility from their home, but with the help of everyone there they have settled in and have stated many times how happy they are there and wondered why they waited so long to make the change. It gives me peace of mind knowing that they are somewhere that can meet their needs at this point in their lives. Thank you so much Jeff for all of your help during the transition and move!!!

I would like to leave a review for a member of your staff, Lyndsey Urban. I had a family member at your Hamilton Trace in Fishers and she had a very bad wound and Lyndsey started taking care of her, I was impressed how she was doing treating it and keeping it so sterile and pleasant while treating her. Every facilty needs a Lyndsey !!..

March 2026
I’ve been around quite a few independent living and memory care communities in the area, and this one stands out in the best way. The staff are genuinely kind, the building is very clean, and the overall environment feels calm and well-run. Residents consistently speak highly of the food and the attentiveness of the staff, which says a lot. You can tell people here truly care ” it feels different from other places.

Great staff, friendly, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate team.

My mom moved into a two bedroom apartment in June 2024 and has had a great experience. They offer regular cleaning, three meals daily and the staff have been great. The only thing that keeps me from giving them five stars is the building needs some updates and refreshing. Otherwise my mom and family have been quite pleased.

The place is beautiful but I was doing private care for a client and I seen a cockroach running across her kitchen. It worried me a little.

I have lived in Independent Living at the Forum for a couple of months and I am really happy with my decision. I would describe the Forum atmosphere as a Community of Kindness. Both the residents and staff are so friendly and considerate, and the dining room staff (who are truly outstanding!) actually knew my name on my first day here. There are lots of activities and occasional live entertainment which has been great so far. Meals and activities are a great way to meet other residents and get to know some wonderful people, and you never have to eat alone unless you choose to. I have eaten more fruits and vegetables since I moved here and I am exercising more. The people who have lived here for a while have been very happy with their experience. Residents are at different stages in life, but you are seen as a human being and there is no judgement. And freedom from responsibilities of home ownership has been wonderful for me because I feel as though I can relax and have fun now.

We have been so happy with the Forum family since mom moved in. I researched and visited over 30 independent, assistive, & memory care facilities with my sis and niece to find the best match for moms current needs. She has only been here a month but so happy with all staff, food, activities, and facilities. The residences are kind and friendly and we feel like we have an extended family. So many kind residents and their family reaching out to our mom and us. The staff from front desk, dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and so many others, have been outstanding and so helpful while she is transitioning to so much newness. The outstanding staff go out of their way to ensure she gets down for meals, find her way to activities when she seems lost, and have helped her meet new friends with common interest. The resident ambassadors group is awesome. We feel comfortable with her living at the forum as Everyone of the staff regardless of their role are hard working, sincerely kind and loving individuals who engage with the residence making them comfortable in their home. We are happy we found this new home for mom that is closer to both of us and helps us in caring for moms needs when we can't be there!

As a service provider to seniors, I have the opportunity to interact with many different senior communities. I have collaborated with the staff at The Forum to serve several seniors who were transitioning from home into The Forum. All the residents I know there have been very happy with their decision to live there. The staff is fabulous, and always puts the residents first in all their dealings. The Sales Dir, Stephanie, is a top-notch caring professional, and always treats people with the utmost respect. I recommend The Forum very highly. FIVE STARS!!

We had to arrange a place for our dad almost a year ago. The Forum has been wonderful helping him make the transition from living in his own home to being at The Forum . He loves his apartment, the staff is always friendly, there is always something engaging going on that the residents find interesting, and he enjoys the food. It was such a relief to find a place where he is safe and that he enjoys.

I became the only caregiver for a relative almost 3 years ago on very short notice. I had helped my aunt and uncle move to The Forum near the end of his life a couple of years previous, and knew the facility to be well managed, clean and accommodating. When faced with the urgent need to get my relative placed somewhere immediately, the manager Rita went above & beyond to accommodate him & his precious little dog. When it shortly became apparent that independent living was not viable, she helped me make the move for him to memory care. He has been there since and as expected had to adjust to not having his dog with him or being in his own home. But we were able to move his own things in and the head nurse Christina, nurse Angela, maintenance guru Smokey & all the staff have made numerous accommodations to his take charge personality to make him feel at home. Now when I visit, he tells me regularly how happy he is! This is such a wonderful thing to hear from someone with dementia, when as caregiver, you struggle with knowing if you are doing what’s best for your charge. I have even recently utilized the location for respite care for another loved one I care for. This is a great place to live whether independently, and in need of more, and obviously one I won’t hesitate to utilize for myself if, or when, the time comes!

Stopped by to visit my aunt as I was passing through town and I was blown away but the most incredible Luau event at the Forum at Crossing! My aunt loves it there and we are so blessed as a family to have her at such an awesome place. Thank you!
January 2024
My father moved into Memory Care in 2009 and my mother moved into an apartment at The Forum at about the same time. The staff in Memory Care was amazing at how quickly they got to know Dad's personality. Mom and I spent a lot of time with Dad and got to know the staff and other residents there. There was always an open line of communication with the staff and they were responsive to our needs. Mom quickly integrated into the social life of apartment living and stayed very active. I enjoyed visiting with her, participating in activities, especially happy hour! The staff in independent living was amazing. They provided an individualized continuum of care for Mom until she moved to Memory Care. When that time came I was so happy to see that although it had been a number of years since Dad was in Memory Care, much of the staff was the same, and it was comforting that many of them already knew my mom. Many of my friends' parents have moved into retirement homes and assisted living, and as I hear of the problems they have encountered, I am grateful for my family's experience with The Forum.

I don’t know how they do it - abundant patience and love for the residents. We like all the staff & nurses - they always have time for us - no matter what they are doing. Nothing like it! So are glad we found the Forum, & they had room for us. Many thanks.
October 2023
My mom has been at The Forum for over 3 years. The staff has been amazing! They truly care about the residents. The residents also care about one another and have alot of fun participating in all of the activities that are offered. The dining room staff is awesome and are very helpful. The food at the The Forum is very good as well. It has been a wonderful experience for my mom!

Staff is incredible! Peggy is great!
September 2023
The Forum is probably one of the best kept secrets in Indy for Senior citizens. The staff truly care about the residents and create a warm, loving family atmosphere everyday. In addition, the residents are friendly and caring with one another. The Forum is clean and well-maintained both inside and out. Residents are offered many different activity choices on a daily basis both on-site and off-site. My husband and I lived here for several weeks while my brother was in the hospital and we ate many delicious meals there. The Forum was a delightful place to live and if we ever move to Indy, this is the place for us!
August 2023
Mother and I had an enlightening conversation about the services that the Forum offers. Peggy was so beneficial then to also discuss and walk through what services are available as a persons care needs change. I feel relieved to know how well mom is supporters and heard.
April 2023
The office staff at The Forum are just awesome, my father was going to live there they bent over backwards to get his lease and the room he wanted lined up. Then he took a bad fall and never came back to his former self, when we were finally sure that he couldn’t stay there the office staff took care of everything, one of the only good parts of this experience. My grandfather and first cousin were both there and I would highly recommend the Forum too anyone in need of an awesome assisted establishment.
December 2022
The staff at The Forum at the Crossing Senior Living is consistently kind and supportive. We receive the utmost care and consideration from the minute we enter until we leave. We recently organized a gathering for our family, including our soon-to-migrate father from [link removed].
October 2022
Mary helped us in the search for my mom. She was great, thorough, patient and went above and beyond assisting us even over the weekend on her day off. Great community showing including the vibe of the people living and working there being the best!
June 2022
As we entered, The Forum was well manicured outside. I appreciate the covered entrance and convenient parking. We were greeted nicely. We came to dine with a friend. The dining room was quite nice and presented a comfy setting for our visit. The sweet waitress was accommodating and was eager to please. The food selection was quite broad. The lunch was very good and plentiful. We had a good visit in a peaceful atmosphere. When the time comes, I’d be interested in touring the entire facility. I certainly liked what I saw!
July 2020
Our mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s eight years ago. The care we have received at The Forum has been impeccable. Our mother had been in the memory care unit for over three years now, and the people who take care of her are angels on Earth. Christina, Becky, Myra, Jackie and all the other members of the unit really and truly go above and beyond to make a family atmosphere. My mother gets to be her chatty, laughing, social self with friends she has made. My sister and I will forever be grateful for the care they have provided.
June 2019
Disappointed in the Forum. My father was in rehab there for nearly a month. If you're considering it for a loved one, be advised that they only have a doctor onsite two days a week (Tues/Thursday). That's ludicrous. So if your loved one needs care and it's an off day, they either continue suffering or go to the emergency room. My dad was recently transferred to Hooverwood due to insufficient care at The Forum. Hooverwood's facility is renovated (my sister said it's more like a hotel). And most importantly, they have a doctor onsite 5 days a week. Seems like tablestakes for rehab. If you've read this far, here's what The Forum is all about: money. On the day when my father was transferred, he had physical therapy earlier in the day. A staff member had the audacity to call my sister and ask that he stay the night, instead of being transferred, so that the facility could get reimbursed for the therapy. That's reason enough to avoid The Forum at all costs. It's a business first, rehab second. Also, for what it's worth, one member of the staff was condescending to my father. He's been having memory issues. When he presses the call button and a staff member arrives 5-10 minutes later, my dad may not remember why he pressed it. I was on speakerphone and overheard a conversation that I wouldn't wish on any patient. I would like to remind Forum staff that you are looking after "patients", and doing so requires "patience". Senior staff members need to provide better training. Two stars given because my father liked his PT/OT at The Forum.
March 2019
My parents have both been at the Forum for 10 months, dad is in Memory Care and mom is in Independent Living. They moved there from another facility that was not able to care for my dad at the level he needed and we couldn't be happier. The Memory Care area is phenomenal. Christina and the rest of the staff (most have been there many years) are caring, very competent and extremely patient and always do what is best for the residents. My dad requires more hands on attention and they take such great care of him. There are many activities (Becky is great!) and they try to personalize the activities when they can to better suit the needs of the residents. I can't speak highly enough about the Memory Care and staff. My mom lives in Independent Living and loves it. The aides are all caring and know her name and go out of their way to help her. The food at the restaurant is very good and Prince and Trey are standouts with their joyful attitudes and willingness to chat and engage with the residents and families. They also have fun activities and events that my mother enjoys and the transportation to appointments is very helpful. All of the staff at Memory Care, Independent Living, and in Administration are friendly and helpful and they treat the residents with respect. The Director, Tim, is very engaged and seems to always be there and frequently can been seen chatting with the residents in the restaurant and elsewhere. Brad, who enrolled us, is wonderful too. Both facilities are always clean and the grounds are well maintained. The only (somewhat) negative thing I can say is that since the facility is older there have been some issues with heating, electrical, water leaks etc., but when they have occurred the residents have been notified and the issues have been promptly fixed. I still wouldn't trade the Forum for a newer, flashier place. Before moving there I visited many senior living locations but I didn't feel as comfortable in them and I knew my parents wouldn't either. In the end the Memory Care, Skilled Nursing (which we haven't needed yet), and dedicated staff with many years of experience were the deciding factors for us.
October 2018
Our mother and father have been here several times over the years, mainly for rehab or respite in the healthcare center. Most recently our mother was here. As always, we find the staff members are very caring and are like family members to all of us. We wouldn't go anywhere else for skilled nursing care. We are also thankful for Sunday worship services there by volunteers.
October 2018
Incredible experience for my mother! She was living in the independent care side but then needed rehab help and finally hospice care. The staff on both sides were caring, very professional and extremely sympathetic. Highly recommend this facility.
October 2018
First impressions very important when entering as a resident or visitor. The environment very well maintained & color interior is light and airy. Flowers at entrance just lovely. Not hospital like at all. Mr. Tracy and Ms. Antwaina and Ms. Carolyn all very accommodating. Staff very friendly plus professional. Met my relative dining in beautiful sunny area. Her meal looked very tasty. Clean & comfortable. I would definitely keep this place on my list for myself or my Dad. I am so delighted my relative is here even if it is just for a few days. I know she is well taken care of during her stay. Truly a blessing. Dee
October 2018
The memory care staff is fabulous, providing excellent day-to-day care, along with meaningful and fun special activities for all. Families are encouraged to be present and involved in numerous special events planned very intentionally for the residents.
October 2018
We love the Memory Care Unit. The staff work so hard to make sure our loved ones are taken care of with compassion and respect. The Forum Memory Care Unit is worth checking out to see if it is the right place for your loved one.
September 2018
My mother-in-law had a difficult time moving from her home and the city she had lived many years. She ended up loving it & shared she wished she had moved sooner to The Forum. Everyone has been so caring to my mother-in-law from the staff in the dining room to the aides that assisted her day in & day out. As a family all of us would highly recommend The Forum, a wonderful community for your love ones.

Great Facility and loving staff as well as residents. Very home like feeling
August 2018
Forum at the Crossing is truly a five star Community! Several of the nurses on the skilled side and in memory care have been there for 15 to 20 years plus. That is so rare to find! They truly care about their patients like family. On the Independent living side, the residents are so friendly and the resident services team is great at planning activities and events and bringing in quality programming and entertainment for the residents to enjoy!
February 2018
This is a top notch senior facility. They have everything on site (doctors, rehab, salon, restaurant, etc). Residents do not have to leave the building for anything. It is also very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The residents are well cared for.
