We have been a Grand Brook Fishers family for one year now and have nothing but positive things to say about the facility, the staff and the care that our father receives. We are in the facility everyday and spend a great amount of time there. We see first hand how the amazing staff treats each and every resident. They truly take the time to get to know the residents where they are now, and who they were prior to coming to Grand Brook with dementia. Residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. We appreciate that management always has their doors open and welcomes questions and concerns. We always feel very comfortable to discuss anything and often pop in to ask questions. We’ve always been given the time to do so, our questions have always been answered, and any concerns addressed promptly. We fully trust the care and opinions of the staff and know our father is in great hands. We especially appreciate how Grand Brook makes sure that families are welcomed and included in daily life there. We have young children and they love to visit, not just their Grandpa but other residents as well. Between the lovely family events that Grand Brook holds throughout the year to activities that all family members can attend, it’s a warm and welcoming place for the whole family! In my opinion the biggest strength of Grand Brook is the atmosphere that they create there. It feels like a home and all of the staff, residents and resident’s families all feel like one big family. It’s been a joy to meet and get to know the lovely people of Grand Brook!

My loved one lived here for nearly 5 years and in my opinion, Grand Brook is one of the better facilities. Although they have recent turnover of some caregivers and support staff, their core staff has remained solid and are committed to the family type atmosphere and are working hard to fix issues. It is unfortunate when a couple family members with unrealistic expectations spread their toxicity into a caring place where the caregivers are working so hard. It was a tough decision to move my husband here nearly 5 years ago, but he was always well taken care of and made to feel that he was part of a family. Every place will have its positives and negatives and GB is no different from others in the challenges it faces. But if you are faced with this tough decision, Grand Brook Memory Care of Fishers is certainly one of the better facilities in the greater Indianapolis area. Strongly recommend that you check them out.

My wife has been a resident since Dec 24’ and I believe the care she has received is overall outstanding, and well above industry standards. This is her third facility after elopement issues and worsening of her memory disease, so I feel like I can offer perspective on strengths and weaknesses of Grand Brook. Grand Brook is a wonderful physical facility. The courtyard offers a perfect space for family and visitors to enjoy with residents. Keeping common and individual spaces clean and well maintained is a never ending and exhaustive task and the staff does their best to do so. I’ve never had a request for help or assistance in facility issues that wasn’t promptly addressed. In my opinion staffing levels are adequate. We would all like our loved ones to be in protective bubbles that prevent falls and offer immediate care when the normal memory care behavior issues occur. I’m frequently on site for long stretches of time and have never witnessed a staff member be anything but patient and professional in dealing with resident issues. This is a very difficult industry to find and retain qualified staff and I believe Grand Brook is doing a good job. Food is a sensitive issue for all. Let’s be real this is not a high end spa suitable for every Foodies needs. In my opinion the food is always hot and plentiful. Through the efforts of the Family Council quality and variety of meals have improved and I have no doubts that my wife is getting proper nutrition. I can’t say enough about the supportive environment of management, staff, and family members that make Grand Brook a safe and protective environment for our loved ones. I’ve experienced other more corporate driven facilities where watching training videos trumped resident care, and responses to family concerns were totally ignored. The fact that Grand Brook has a Family Council that ownership is responsive to is a significant differentiator. The Community Relations Director and Staff are not used car salespeople trying to get another warm body into the facility. They make a constant effort to understand the needs and support required for residents and family members a like. My wife has had a number of physical challenges and emergencies that have required considerable communication and timely coordination with Grand Brook Management. In every situation this has been a totally collaborative effort with a focus on arriving at the best possible solution for all involved . Their experience and professionalism has been a real asset. I firmly believe that Grand Brook is an exceptional value, with a committed team willing to do what’s best for residents and families.

I can’t say enough positive things about Grand Brook! From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel a deep sense of warmth and welcome that immediately set it apart. Our Mom has been at Grandbrook for 2 1/2 years and we have been very happy with the care at Grandbrook! They are honest and caring for all of the residents from our vantage point. When we have had an issue, (not very many) it has been addressed and taken care of quickly! Dementia is such a sad disease that robs our loved ones of so much but we are grateful for the caregivers who love and assist our Mom each day!!

My wife is the third person (grandmother, mother and my wife) within three generations to have the misfortune of memory loss. The families experienced three methods of caring for the memory loss problem: family member, outside professional caregiver at home and memory loss facilities. The three individuals, together over the years, have been residents in six different memory care facilities. Past memory care facilities have provided the family help in deciding on care for my wife and Grand Brook Memory Care of Fishers (GB) was the obvious choice. My wife has been a resident of GB for three and one half years and she has received excellent care. The health, dining and resident programs and front office support all contribute to a very positive resident experience. Directors of health care and community relations, Parmjeet and Lori, provide timely info on resident status and problems/solutions that may occur. the family is well satisfied with the care provided our wife/mother/grandmother at Grand Brook Memory Care of Fishers!

My husband went in to Grand Brook Memory Care of Fishers October 22 until he passed August 23. I loved that I was able to get him in to where I wanted him to be. The entire staff was so caring and on top of his health. If there was an issue it was addressed immediately. He had a very nice private room that I was able to decorate to make it feel like home for him. The food was good, the facility clean and there were lots of activities for him to participate in. I especially liked the Caregiver Support Group run by Lori where I got to meet others that had loved ones in GB. Some that I’ve remained friends with! I was very pleased that I chose Grand Brook for my husband.

Grand Brook made a bad situation better. My sister was diagnosed with dementia and needed care beyond our abilities at home. Most memory care facilities would not accept someone so young (51). Grand Brook accepted my sister and cared for her like she was their sister. They coordinated with Anchor of Hope Hospice to make the final days of her life dignified and as comfortable as possible. The professionalism and compassion of the staff provided a safe and loving environment for her. Grand Book provides a calm and compassionate environment for the care of those who can not care for themselves.

Putting my mom into a memory care facility was one of the hardest days of my life. However, I must honestly say Grand Brook was the best decision we made. The staff there is so loving, caring, and they know exactly how to care of their residents. Having everyone trained to work with memory care patients is a huge benefit. The size is just right as well. It allows for all staff to get to know the residents. Grand Brook is a very clean and friendly environment, let alone beautiful as well. Most don't want the day to come where you have to move your loved one from their home. However, Grand Brook helped make this process a little bit easier.

GrandBrook of Fishers is new, beautiful, safe, conveniently located, personal, and staffed with the kindest and most caring professionals you will ever meet. Each of the (only) 36 residents has his or her private room with a large 3-piece bath, good closet space, a well-styled bedroom that is not at all institutional, and big windows to let in the light. The kitchen is in full view of the living areas, complete with all the smells provided by excellent chefs. Care will be personalized for your family member, and it can be easily adjusted when needed. There's lots of room for residents to walk around, a huge enticing garden patio, and regular activities from art to exercise to musical performers. Because the population there is small, every resident is known and cared for by name. Best of all, their main focus is memory care, and they're well trained that way; this is not a "program", it's a way of life with love and dignity. Family members are welcome as visitors, and there is great communication between GrandBrook and families. Finally, GrandBrook of Fishers is very transparent and will deliver what they say they will. I shout it from the rooftops what a great placement this is for loved ones who have memory issues.

Beautiful, modern, impeccably clean facility. The design is very homelike, warm and inviting. The staff is wonderful and quick to respond to any concern or question. I feel confident she is safe, well cared for and that she has improved physically since she moved in which I attribute to the staff's excellent care and experience with dementia patients.

My family member has been a resident of Grand Brook Memory Care in Fishers since the summer of 2019 and we are so happy she is there! It is an outstanding, beautiful facility where she gets excellent care. I don't have to worry about her and she tells me that she is very lucky to be there. To me, it has a big advantage over other memory care facilities in that it does not have the closed-in feel of a traditional, smaller memory care unit often within a larger facility; instead, it feels very open, home-like and inviting. There is a large courtyard in the middle of the facility where residents go for many of their activities in the warmer weather. And, the activities and meals for residents are excellent and all staff very knowledgeable and professional. We are so happy we found Grand Brook!

I recently moved my mom to Grand Brook. The care is absolutely amazing. I love the homey environment. The staff is very detail oriented. There is a warm, friendly and relaxed feel there. Residents are kept busy with activities all day long. They can enjoy a beautiful courtyard while getting fresh air daily. The food is wonderful and always served hot in non-sterile environment. I like that there is only memory care in this facility. Everyone that works there is there because they want to help people with dementia. That is a really great thing!

We were very worried when we put my husband in memory care at Grand Brook but he loved the place from the first day. The staff is friendly and helpful and the layout of the building is perfect for people who want the freedom to roam about. There are lots of crafts to keep people from getting bored, and the residents interact well with each other and with the staff. If you have a family member with dementia, memory care at Grand Brook is the way to go!

Words can not express how truly blessed our family is to have Grand Brook Memory Care taking care of my father. Over the past year we have spent countless hours trying to find a facility that would care for our father the way my mother has taken care of him. Needless to say, this was becoming an impossible task. Let's face it, we felt like no one would care for him like she could. Then we walked into Grand Brook Memory Care. That is when this incredible miracle happened. We met Sherri Dawson the Director of Community Relations. From the moment we sat down to speak to her about my Dad, we realized she was one of the most kind hearted, caring and knowledgeable people we had spoken to throughout our journey to find my father care. One by one other staff members would come in and introduce themselves. They all wanted to know more about my dad. We loved telling them stories about his fun loving character along with some of the struggles he has had since being diagnosed with dementia. My dad has been a resident at Grand Brook for about a month now and we could not be happier. It is so heartwarming to walk in for a visit and see him wave with a smile on his face. We feel like the Grand Brook staff is actually family. My dad is so incredibly happy and this has made quite the impact on our entire family. I can't thank the staff at Grand Brook Memory Care enough for giving my dad the loving care he deserves.

My precious mother is a resident of Grand Brook Memory Care. All of us in the family (and my Mom) feel so pleased about the competent and kindhearted care she is receiving every day. The facility is absolutely beautiful, cheerful, warm, and welcoming. Each member of the staff is friendly and responsive. They make me and each of my siblings feel confident that she is safe and well cared for every day and night. Choosing to have my Mom at Grand Brook was an excellent decision and I feel comfortable recommending this facility to anyone who is looking for a first rate home for their loved one.
