I recently had cervical surgery at Rush with some complications. I chose Bella Terra of Wheeling as my stay before going home . It was the best choice I could have made as the round the clock care is what I needed. The Therapy team was outstanding care ! The Director, Tom stayed after hours for my arrival at 5:30 pm! My therapy team of Noel, Michal, Sara, Larry and speech therapist helped me get stronger ! My nurses, CNA's , housekeeping staff , food service and activities were all very accommodating and were there with any of my needs . Delores in admitting was super helpful with all my forms and transfer information. Thank you Bella Terra for making my week long stay feel like family !

My husband was in there for almost 7 weeks and I can't say enough about the administration and the staff! If there were any issues, they were addressed immediately, and they treated him with dignity and total encouragement! they get five stars in my book.

Bella Terra Wheeling has gone above and beyond to help me transition my 97 year old grandfather as a permanent resident after two hip surgeries. Dolores has helped me every step of the way when applying for medicaid. The entire staff is always welcoming and consistent with every necessary request. I would highly recommend Bella Terra for anyone who appreciates genuine care for their loved ones.

I love Bella Terra Wheeling. Everyone here has been amazing with my mother, and extremely helpful to me. She has dementia and was moved here after a fall at home. She had rehab here and we decided to keep her here after rehab because she is doing so much better and receiving better care than we can give. Nurses and PCT on 3rd floor are the bast. Deloris, Raj, Maggie, Melissa, and so many others whose names I don't know take great care of their patients. Deloris and Candy in the office have also helped me with all of my questions. Highly recommend this place.

Bella Terra is a great place. My mom has been there already for 3 months due to a major surgery on her hip. They take great care of her and try to accomodate all her needs. The play is clean and the food is good. The nurses and the caretakers are wobderful people that really take their time to know the patients. Any question or concern that I have they reply to me quickly. Again, if you have an elderly that needs special care, this is a safe place to be.

My mother has been a resident of Bella Terra Wheeling for almost a year & she is enjoying her stay. The staff was friendly when we visited & my mom has made friends. She even told me that one of the CNA's would braid her hair. She continues to go to her dr's visits to try to figure out the root cause of her immobility. So far she's had a great experience at this facility. Since I live out of state it puts my mind at ease that she's safe & being cared for. Thank you all for all that you do to make sure she is comfortable & taken care of.

Our mother arrived at Bella Terra Wheeling after several falls at the assisted living facility where she had been living for the last four months. She was no longer walking, was extremely confused, and appeared frail and weak. The Bella Terra staff nursed her back to a place where she could thrive within her new set of limitations. Nursing care and rehab services exceeded our family's expectations in those early weeks. Admissions, social work, and skilled nursing communicated with us and were understanding as we traversed this new territory with our mom. We found the aforementioned staff, as well as the CNA's and housekeepers,to be kind and accommodating. It's now been nearly two and a half years since our mother first arrived. Our family, and more importantly, our mom, is happy with the care she receives and the attention the staff gives to any questions or concerns we bring forward. The facility is kept very clean, and improvements such as the new showers and an enhanced outdoor patio area are appreciated. Most of all, the staff seems to care about the residents and their families— something that is truly priceless. Thank you, Bella Terrra Wheeling!

My Dad has been a resident at BellaTerra for almost one and a half years. I live out of state and know he is well taken care of. (Because I ask him).If there are any issues the team is very attentive. The office staff corresponds when I need to take care of anything on my end. The other residents seem to be happy too.

After staying at another long term care facility nearby, my older brother developed signs of neglect and was transferred to Bella Terra. He's been there for some time now and has improved way past the point I thought possible. He's gained weight (he needed to) he's made friends, he's much more interactive, and I place his improvement solely in the hands of the fine staff at Bella Terra Wheeling. I've nothing bad to say about this place. Please feel comfortable knowing your loved ones are in good hands.

This place is FANTASTIC!!! My 98 year old grandmother received wonderful care here. Everyone was so nice, accommodating, caring and compassionate! It was always sparkling clean and we were always greeted with a smile from everyone from the receptionists to housekeeping to nurses to other residents. We are so thankful for Ed in particular. While all of the nurses are wonderful, he really went above and beyond to personally check on her and make sure she was well cared for. I highly recommend Bella Terra in Wheeling!

I came to Bella Terra for Rehabilitation after breaking both my legs. Since I came here 29 days ago I have received the best care. The staff has been very Attentive and very helpful. They got me what I needed and when I needed it. In a respectable amount of time. They keep this place very clean. They sweep and mop every single day. They change the sheets the linen and wash clothes every day. This has been the cleanest facility I have seen.Kandi Deerfield has been the kindest and most helpful on getting me set up here. And what ever you need she will get for you. She really fight for her resident's against the insurance company. Amy runs the entire facility and she has done a fantastic job on choosing the best staff and making sure the residents get what they need. As for the physical therapy that I received 6 days a week they really helped me get stong and back on my feet again. Noel, Larry, and Miguel are a great team,each have their own techniques on getting people strong. I highly recommend Bella Terra for your Rehabilitation or long term care. P.s. My mom was transferred to Bella Terra in Wheeling after the facility she was is closed. She arrived on Monday. The staff was great in getting her set up and comfortable. The next day her health really failed and she was placed in Hospice. Bella Terra was the one that contacted Hospice to get think set up.The nurse came in and checked on her regularly and also made sure we were ok and comfortable. They also brought us coffee and snacks which eased what we were going through. When my mom passed on the staff contacted the funeral home that we made arrangements at. This place is great. I have taught nursing students at Bella Terra Wheeling and was very impressed by the care of all of the residents. The Nurses and CNA's really took pride in caring for all the residents. The facility is very clean and maintained well. I am now part of the Bella Terra team as a Nursing supervisor. And very proud to work with such dedicated staff members.

My sister was in Bella Terra Wheeling Medicaid floor for 13 months until she passed. The nurses there took great care of her: carefully dressing her, always grooming her hair and nails, seeing to her bathing and medicine needs and always providing appropriate phone updates on her health and other needs. Also, with my weekly visits, I noticed that her room was always clean and neat. If there is a need for a nursing faculty in the Lake County area, I would definitely check out Bella Terra Wheeling.

My husband's Aunt Patricia was admitted for rehab to BellaTerra in Wheeling several months ago. From the day the staff met us with open arms in the parking lot til present she is extremely well cared for by an incredible staff of knowledgeable and very caring professionals. We asked her if she wanted to stay there on a full time basis and she exclaimed Yes! She feels very well cared for and she truly is.There hasn't been a day when we were worried for her safety and welfare! The first floor staff is top notch! Beautiful meals and superb cleanliness! Been working here as RN since July, not a perfect place(trust me there's not a perfect one) but have had an amazing work experience, I have felt welcomed by the staff. They work with my schedule and are very understanding. I enjoy working as a part of the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best care of patients and to expand my clinical knowledge. I can't tell you how much I HIGHLY recommend this facility. My husband was so well cared for. My husband was in 2 other facilities and no comparison. He was long term and the amount of care they gave him, put my mind at ease. Once the virus broke out, they went out of their way to make sure I was updated. AMAZING, AMAZING Nurses and CNA's on the 3rd floor I can't say enough about them. They say 5 star and I know why. If you're looking for long term... I'd highly recommend!! Such a nice clean place and the staff, just love.

I recently visited my grandfather at Bella Terra Wheeling. He was there for a rehab stay after being in the hospital. We felt he was very well cared for, and he made a lot of improvement in a short time while he was there! Every time we came to visit, we found the facility clean, and the staff were available, accommodating, and friendly.

I have worked at Bellaterra of Wheeling since August 2019, I really enjoy working there, the staff is very friendly & fun to work with. January 2020 I had to find placement for my Mom's Boyfriend very quickly, my Mom is his main caregiver, but she ended up having emergency surgery, so I had to act quickly. I immediately called Kandy and told her my situation, she got right on it. The next day he was admitted. He was there for a 6 week stay. The staff there was just so nice to him and took very good care of him. Even though I work there and I have worked at other facilitys,Bellaterra of Wheeling is such a nice place to bring your love one there. The food is really good, I believe he even gained some weight. He was always well cared for, clean shaved, always clean and just well cared for. My Mother was so glad he was there, she knew he was well cared for. I would highly recommend Bellaterra of Wheeling. If I ever need a place to bring my love one / ones again I will bring them here. The place is nice and clean and all the staff is very friendly, just a great place!!!!

Highly recommend this facility for rehab. My grandma stayed here for some rehab after falling and breaking 3 ribs. The nurses, therapy staff and admin staff were so helpful and accommodating to her. She also said the food was great! And Kudos to the therapy department for working so hard to get my grandma back to herself again

I'm writing to give you a sense of my family's experience. My mother had been at two other north shore places prior to Lexington Wheeling. She was not nearly as happy being at the other places. Unfortunately, she ended up livin g thumb her last week in hospice. The nurses and other staff were great to my mom and our family during the ordeal. I can't thank them enough for helping us through this tough time.

Excellent! I was so happy with the care at Lexington in Wheeling. This was such a good experience at such a sad time in my life. The nurses and caregivers were just the best. You can tell they really care about the people they are taking care of. The place is spotless. I have never seen another place so clean (which was so important to me).
