Sunrise of Park Ridge is such a warm and caring environment for Seniors. This was my first experience of having to find senior living and care for both of my parents. From the very first informational visit to view the facility and meet staff, I felt at ease and knew that my parents would be, and were, cared for daily by kind, loving, caring people. The staff on the Memory floor and the Assisted Living (AL) floors were always attentive and patient and would go out of their way to make sure needs were met quickly. I am thankful to Sunrise Senior Living of Park Ridge that gave both of my parents the care and attention they needed at all times but especially when I was unavailable. Thanks most of all to SuNu, Pauline, Alex, Charmen, Victor, Julianne, Christine and Theresa who made difficult times more manageable and shared in our stories, family moments, chicken nuggets, chocolate and most importantly…laughter! I couldn't have managed the past four years without you all!

Sunrise Park Ridge is a very warm and caring community. The caregivers strive to establish personal relationships with the residents. This has made the transition from home to assisted living much smoother for my mother. The levels of care needed by the residents varies but the staff works very hard to involve everyone in the activities. The facility is very clean and the food is plentiful and enjoyable. The facility is smaller compared to many others and we think that contributes to the 'home-y feel'. The staff are very personable and inviting with visitors. For those residents needing specific dedicated care, the staff appears very attentive and compassionate. Sunrise has truly been a blessing to my family.

The facility is always clean and smells nice. The quality of the food and meals are very good. They have plenty of relevant activities for the residents to attend. The staff is always very nice, polite and helpful. We are very happy that our loved one is in their care.

My mom has been living at Sunrise for a little over 1 year, and I can't say enough good things about this community. Very clean facility and it immediately makes you feel comfortable & welcomed when you walk in. Super friendly/caring staff from facility directors to the receptionists. Nice daily meal plan and group activities for residents. They got her involved with activities. Something she was not doing at the previous facility. Regular visits by medical staff from outside clinics to make sure the well-being of each resident. Overall, it is a very nice facility. You know your loved ones are in good caring hands.

Sunrise in Park Ridge is the only place you need to search for if you want the right place for your parent.Sunrise has the same feel as home, but most importantly the care the staff and administration give you and your parent are class act they are your family too!!!. They were so hospitable and caring and guiding me into making my decision for the right place for my Mom.Now my Mom loves it that is truly amazing because my mom is a tough lady and the fact that she loves everyone there speaks for itself. I was really impressed with this one. This may be the one. We absolutely loved Julie, and the place had a nice relaxed warm vibe to it. I like that they have a dog and 2 cats there. I love all the details of how they ensure disbled people keep their dignity, particularly in the dining environment. I also liked the fact that the place has been there a long time and so many of the staff have been there many years. I got the feeling that the bright and caring staff go above and beyond what's normally expected at these places to create an exceptionally enriching experience for people, aside from perfectly attending to all their needs.

My Mother-in-law is here and seems to be adapting well. She has her good days and bad days and theyll call us if there are any issues. They do a very good job with resolving problems and giving her medications. Theyll let her know when meals are available or theyll bring her meals to her room if she doesnt feel like going to the dining room. They offer plenty of activities and make sure shes up and moving around during the day, which is something she needed. The people are very cooperative and able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner. Overall, were very satisfied with the care shes receiving here. I would definitely recommend this place.
