I cannot say enough hood things about this facility. My grabdma was here for a short term rehabilitation stay and was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. All of the employees from the nurses to the case workers to the cnas to the meal staff to.the janitorial workers are all EXCELLENT. On the 2 days i couldnt come to the facility they called and kept me updated. They had a tea party, someone playing the piano and all types of activities and they included everyone. If you have a senior loced kne in need of a nursing home or short term rehabilitation services i highly recommend this location. God bless this staff for giving me peace of mind knowing my loved one is in good hands. If for some reason i am ever unable to take care of my grandmother safely and effectively i would have her return here. And their independent living section is absolutly beautiful, you would think you walked into a resort with all the amenities.

Anyone who looking for a place for their love ones, this the place to be whether independent, skilled or memory care. I went on a tour and everyone so nice especially a woman name Selena I belive she stated she in programming she help me find my way to she marketing office,she especially friendly and very helpful, she talked about her department and the programs they provide here. She was wonderful. It was such a home feeling I got when I toured the facility.

My parents moved to Lincolnwood Place about one year ago, and while they are very happy, their apartment is no longer big enough for large family gatherings. However, Lincolnwood Place has a beautiful private dining room that can be reserved for special occasions, family dinners, small parties, etc. We have reserved the private dining room many times; it's directly adjacent to the main dining room, and we can either order off the menu or bring in food from outside the community. The management and serving staff are responsive, professional, efficeint, and have a delightful tableside manner.

I am primary caregiver/POA for my brother who has been a resident of Lincolnwood Place for going on eight years. Never have I felt the security and a sense of calm as his primary caregiver, until Lincolnwood Place. All residents are treated with the same respect, dignity, support, and, consideration. My visits to see my brother continue to be welcome and includive. His special needs are not anything unusual to the staff, and, communication between staff and me has been ongoing, smooth, and, cooperative. The grounds and building are clean, welcoming, secure. The apartment's needs, since he has been in the same apartment for years, have received the appropriate attention required due to normal wear and tear. Lincolnwood Place is an amazing opportunity for loved ones to live their best lives among some of the most amazing people and programs.

My friend needed a place to stay while her elevator went down in her bldg. Not only did LWP accommodate us, but she ended up staying permanently in independent living because of socializing and events. I cant say enough good stuff about the entire staff incl administration, reception, Director of Resident Services, housekeeping diningroom, maintenance, security are all very caring, attentive, and respectful. This is home now. Any new place takes a while to get used to, and moving here four years ago was a good thing. I have made friends, and I participate in activities such as short story review, lunch outings, various parties and holiday celebrations, and events such as performances by guest artists, movies in house, and volunteering with the Resident Board advisory committee. I use services such as bus rides to my medical appointments and to grocery stores, and even to going out with friends to thrift shops for fun seeking a possible "Find" (like I used to when I had my own car). I can follow my own interests such as painting in my own home or going out to sing with my former group. I have a close relative in the area. We visit often and I have friends, former colleagues and gardeners who visit as well. Living here is not the same as living in my old house, but it is easier than coordinating all the services and upkeep that my former residence needed. I even had a special event here for college friends who were in town for our reunion. I took them to lunch in our Bistro Room. They each had steak salad and sent thanks to the chef. They liked where I live and that made me happy, too.

I have lived at Lincolnwood Place for five years as an Independent, the first three with my wife who was blind and needed Assisted Living. I was impressed daily by the kindness and skill of the RNAs and nurses and forever will be grateful for their kindness and skills.. After she died of lung cancer, I moved to a smaller apartment making sure it looked out on the beautiful courtyard. I would recommend this place to anyone. The food ranges between very-good and outstanding; the servers are cheerful and helpful. The whole staff of this place help create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I once dreaded the thought of living in an "'old folks home." I'm now grateful that I can and do. I'm 94, by the way,

Lincolnwood Place is a very warm, inviting facility. The grounds, inside public areas, and rooms are kept up extremely well. My parents first moved into Assisted Living and the staff was great, always greeting my parents by name. My Dad passed away and my Mom has moved to the Memory Care Unit. This unit is dealing with challenging situations of care and I so appreciate the patience and kindness of the everyone there.

We are very pleased to reside at Lincolnwood Place. The facility is large enough to satisfy most every need, while retaining a friendly and responsive staff at all levels. Our apartment is lovely and roomy. We find the meal plan and room cleaning schedule to be generous. Fellow residents have been welcoming. Activities for residents are frequent and interesting. The facility operates smoothly and reliably, and that adds significantly to our being comfortable here.

I have only great things to say about Lincolnwood Place. My mom, now on her second year, has acclimated wonderfully. She feels safe and supported. Key to this has been the management, the support staff and the residents. We feel we know everyone here now and it’s a friendly, supportive community. The daily activities and programs are well planned and fun for all. You can tell how much the staff cares. They do a great job and have fun with the residents and get very involved with some of their holiday/themed events. Lots of decor and costumes. Lots of celebrations:) The facility is clean and updated (beautiful dining area and gathering spaces). Her studio is plenty big and includes laundry, a full kitchen. But she never cooks. The food here is actually really, really good! I am also very happy that as my mom ages she will be able to transition to assisted living and stay in her SAME studio apartment. This was a big factor in my decision making. Memory care is also on site should she need this. Skilled nursing and rehab, physical therapy, speech therapy is all here too. She even sees a few on site specialists who come periodically (dermatology and podiatry). It’s all so convenient and for all this I feel the price point for room, board and services is very competitive. Shop around and you will see. This place is a solid choice! We’ve been very happy.

My Mom has been a resident in Independent Living for six months now. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Many of them know me by name (or at least know who my mom is) and will often share an interesting interaction that they have had with her whenever I see them around the facility. She has been very active in the community and made many new friends. She also partakes in many of the activities that they offer, including live entertainment, happy hour in the pub, trivia games, and movie night. They also offer some organized outings for lunch or shopping which she also has enjoyed. Her only complaint has been "there is too much to do here - I am always busy". Now that spring is here, it will be nice to enjoy the beautiful courtyard and see what is growing in the green house.

My mom has lived at Lincolnwood Place for almost 10 years now. The staff is very friendly and attentive and there is not a day that goes by that she does not get greeted my multiple team members by name. The grounds are well kept and maintained (inside and out) and when we have had a service issue, it is addressed quickly. Recently we added a nursing component to help my mom with her medication and that has been fantastic. This service allows my mom to live independently but with some assistance, so she can remain in her apartment. The nursing staff is very diligent and it gives me tremendous peace of mind to know that my mom is being looked after. We are both very happy with Lincolnwood Place!

My mom became a resident here about 1-1/2 years ago. While she initially hoped to return to her house, health conditions prevented that, and she has settled into the community and formed good social connections. She started in a furnished apartment in assisted living, and has progressed to a lovely unfurnished 2 bedroom apartment in independent living and moved in her furniture and possessions, making it feel like home. The staff has been very responsive and accommodating to her changing needs. We've both been satisfied with the facility and the support they have provided. A big plus is the different levels of care available in the same place, from independent living, to assisted living, sheltered care, skilled nursing and memory care. I would recommend Lincolnwood Place to any family or friend looking for somewhere for an elderly loved one.

Hello, my mother has lived at Lincolnwood Place for 15 years. She and my father started out together until his decline of Alzheimer's Disease relocated him to a nursing home. Before that, the staff at Lincolnwood Place showed my mother and father so much love and respect for months, if I gave you examples of their attention to detail, we wouldn't have a dry eye. We are Jewish, and there is a lovely synagogue where my mother spent every Friday night for 15 years. Fiercely independent at 95, she stubbed a toe and toppled...came back strong from a partial hip replacement. But by 98, she's tired. She dines in her apartment and is granted any request. Marilyn, at the front lobby desk has been there for 29 years, yes. She answers all calls and directs you to who you need. To me, like a girl cousin I don't have. The dining room staff is amazing as is the maintenance staff, never having you wait. My entire extended family feels blessed that we got to the right place the first time with our beloved parents.

Great place for my dad! Victor was amazing helping with the transition from my dad from Colorado to Illinois! Made sure that he was welcome and felt a part of the community from day one! We moved in to Lincolnwood Place independent living in April 2016. We selected it because of its great location (close to shopping), large apartments with dishwasher and washer-dryer, and no buy-in payment up front, just reasonable monthly rent. While looking I looked at many locations. I narrowed it down to lincolnwood place, Atria and Autumn Green as my top 3 out of over 20 assisted living facilities. Lincolnwood place stood out by them running a sample meal out to my father. Food was delicious. My father being 100% Italian this was a huge factor. Sadly he's in hospice now but still a resident at 94 years old the staff are extraordinary, receptive, alert and kind to all needs not only medical but overall wellness. Specifically the wellness manager R.N. Eve is incredible, she is hands on and leads by example. Her service, care and work ethic far exceeds the standard nation wide. She is outstanding. C.N.A.s AY and Michael, R.N. Mirella, front desk Marilyn are also among the best and display perpetual kindness and selfless service as well. On the esthetic side. The place is beautiful. The library and dining facility make you feel like you're on a cruise ship in the 1950s. Absolutely stunning. I award them and this facility my full and sincere recommendation.

My mom lived at Lincolnwood Place for a short time but it was a great place for her. The apartment was in excellent shape: clean, up to date, and spacious. The onsite services were excellent. We had moved her from another place because we found Lincolnwood Place to be superior. From the ED to the front line receptionist, our experience was welcoming and supportive.

My mother-in-law recently stayed at Lincolnwood Place for rehab following her knee replacement surgery. The nursing staff was incredible and assisted at every opportunity. Even my children loved going to visit grandma to see the birds (and eat the amazing food in the restaurant). Very much recommended.

This is a rating for the rehab facility only. (Some idiots are rating the mall here!) My mom was here a few times over the course of a few years recently. Although no facility is perfect in this industry, I do feel this was as positive of an experience as it could have been. My mom's failing health and decline was the hardest time of my life with no siblings to share the hardship. I always had the impression that the workers here cared. They helped me with legal forms and advice. There was a positive vibe here. They had just put in new furniture, painted, etc. Was never smelly. Sunday ice cream socials and movies. I can't recall the name of one of the front desk/office workers, but she was so nice and helpful. She was blonde and I think Polish. Helped with forms. Anyways, I would highly recommend this place to others.

My grandmother just moved into Lincolnwood Place over a month ago and we could have not found a lovelier community for her. The staff at from desk, Marilyn was so helpful getting directions and phone numbers to the nearest pharmacies and provided us with a list of doctors. Victor, the director of residents, was extremely accommodating and flexible during our first week and made sure grandma and us knew the community and introduced us to her ambassador Esther, a resident that has been there for 7 years. Walking through the dining room, the servers treated us as we were in a five star restaurant. Thank you to all at Lincolnwood Place who made this a smooth and comfortable transition for my grandmother and our family

For the past year, my cousin has been a patient at Lincolnwood Place, first on a skilled unit and now in assisted living. The care provide by the nursing assistants, nurses, therapists (PT, OT, speech, and others), dietary, social workers, and housekeeping is exceptional. Each and every day, the staff are cheerful, provide high quality care, and spend extra time chatting with and working with patients. Especially impressive is the way in which staff work as a team to assess patients on an ongoing basis so that patients maintain or improve their level of functioning. More important than my opinion, however, is that of my cousin who likes the staff, enjoys the food, and looks forward to the many stimulating activities that are provided each day.

My mom has been living here for about 5 years. From the beginning our family has been extremely pleased with the care & compassion between staff & residents. Recently there was an event held to raise money for Alzheimer's. I was so impressed with the activities planned & the interaction with the residents. What a fun day! I have recently learned that my father who is 96 years old has not had A/C for the last 2 weeks and attempts to fix it have failed at his apartment at Lincolnwood Place Senior Retirement Community. This is unacceptable and irresponsible for my Dad to have to endure. He has suffered from dehydration in the past and he should not be put at risk by their incompetence!!!
