Abington staff were consistently patient, kind, and compassionate throughout my loved one’s month-long stay. They treated her with dignity and respect, even in challenging situations. My family member could be a difficult patient at times, but the team remained understanding, professional, and supportive. Their dedication, encouragement, and commitment to providing quality care made a difficult time much easier for our family. The business office was very easy to work”always easy to reach and excellent communicators”and the social work team was compassionate and knowledgable.

My aunt lives in this facility and we went to visit her today for her Mother’s Day, I was pleasantly impressed, the facility is clean and the staff is friendly. My aunt is now in an environment where she can be social and around people who care for her like she needs. It’s not easy to care for someone who needs special treatment and around the clock care. It makes me happy knowing that she is happy.

Beware: Warning: Unfortunately I recently had a stint at Elevate Care Abington in Glenview. If you, your Parents, or Grandparents are in need of rehab or after hospital care this is literally the place you go to DIE!!!! I have never in my life dealt with such complete ineptitude. The staff is NOT licensed in the United States. They do not speak English(90%) They are NOT authorized to deal with ports or stints though that does not stop them… ended up in the ER after one imbecile tore mine out after lying and saying she was just disconnecting the IV. The food they serve is meat out of a can, or a box, everything is processed, if you get fresh fruit or a fresh vegetable it literally comes with mold or slimy. Everything is saturated with margarine and most their food is labeled from India. Twice had food poisoning and once had to go to the hospital. Literally their entire food supply is guaranteed to give you Cancer. Had to supplement out of pocket to supply my own food. God forbid you’re on a health restricted diet … they will kill you. Physical therapy is non existent and they just sit you in a corner while they go and get others to do the same to while reporting to your insurance company that they are complying. Their staff is absolutely inept at hygiene they will put dirty bedpans on your trays where they then put your food without cleaning it. They will touch everything that is yours after dealing with urine and/or feces. Their management team will come and hear your concerns and say they will follow up yet you NEVER see them again. Their “nurses” have received their licenses in third world countries and most are physically dirty ie hands, hair, and bathed in perfume and cologne to the point of nauseam… obviously to hide their lack of hygiene. How this place is not closed down is beyond my comprehension… but be fore warned💯 #ElevateCareAbington #AbigtonGlenview

I had a very positive experience with the staff. They were helpful, understanding, and very kind. They went above and beyond to provide support, and I truly appreciate all their efforts. I would also like to specifically recognize the social worker, Mariam Jado, who consistently kept me informed about what was going on and stayed attentive to her patient’s needs. Her communication and dedication made a big difference in my experience.

So far things are going well at The Abington. Dad is on dialysis, and they are patient and take their time and have gotten more liquid out of him then in the hospital. They are great at transporting him to his doctors' appointments and are responsive to his needs. Physical therapy is working hard at pushing him to be more independent. My only complaint is the food. Dad has stated that it's "pretty good" and that he "likes it", however it took us a week to get a renal menu and even now he's still been given things that his meal choice says he can't have, like tomatoes and ranch dressing. It's much more acceptable now and we are all grateful for that.

My mom was admitted today with Hospice. The facility is absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable exactly what I hoped for my mother. Admissions was Terrific Miss Jones took time out of her busy schedule to assist with the financial aspects of the facility. I had a wonderful tour given by Ash, who was kind and eager to answer any/all of my questions. Ash was so welcoming on a very difficult day for me. I arrived at the room early to set it up before my mom was transported from the hospital Ebe was absolutely the star of the day! He quickly took inventory of my moms possessions, then found two comfortable chairs for the room when my mother has guests, Ebe, made sure Everything was perfect for when my mother arrived. After my mother was settled, Stephanie Reviewed my moms meds with me and explained the check-in procedure for my mother. She is in the perfect position her kind nature and positive energy is infectious! Thus far, I am very happy with my decision for my mother. Elevate care Abington is a fantastic option.

My mother Susan, had resided at the Abington for five years. She passed away This Feb 12. She always had the best care from everyone at Abington. The staff are like family and my mother loved everyone she interacted with. Communication was fabulous. No matter what may occured, the staff communicated with love, efficacy, promptly. I could not have asked for a better home for my mother. They took care of all of her medical , spiritual, daily, etc needs. She always had a beautiful spirit when talking about her people . They loved her and enjoyed her goofiness, jokes, and all. She had her community, loved bingo, and the many activities planned. She had her voice in her meal plans, activities and so forth. Went to Elevate Care Abington for the first time to pay a visit. The sign-in was simple, efficient and friendly and I was directed to my friend’s area. Well, I didn’t go to the room because they were waiting for me in one of the lobby areas.It was very spacious, clean, and directly across from one of the nurses stations. It’s a very nice facility and what impressed me the most was how clean and organized it was.

I want to thank the staff at Elevate Care-Abington, for the care and attention they provided to my cousin. She was there for wound care, physical and occupational therapy. The staff members always kept my informed of her status, and her process. My cousin was always clean, her bedding was always fresh. She visibly impaired, and she never complained to me about being mistreated. The nurses would feed her and would reheat her food for her if it was cold. Due to my cousin's ill heath, she was unable to continue with the therapy. I informed the staff of her transition. Not only did they express their sympathy, they also sent a white floral arrangement for her services. The picture does not do it justice, it was very beautiful and greatly appreciated. Again, to the administrative and the second floor nursing staff, thank you.

The staff on the 2nd floor has beyond exceptional. They answer call lights quickly, follow up on requests promptly, and have been beyond compassionate. Gustavo and Shawn go above and beyond every day. My mom is visually and hearing impaired. They check on her daily to assess any needs she has. They are a Godsend!

My sister friend is a patient at this facility. There was a very noisy AC unit in the room that made it hard to talk without raising your voice and a broken lock on the room door. A complaint was filed and l was very pleased that both incidents were corrected in timely fashion.
