I was very scared to move my mom into a supportive living facility, the director of this facility had my back every step of the way from start to finish and made the process seem-less, this was not an easy decision as most know if they care for a LO, my mom is happy here, the head nurse answers my texts no matter the time of day, the doctor that sees the residents noticed my mom had a UTI and had her on antibiotics right away, my mom has gained 26 lbs since moving in to her apt, her heart doctor was impressed at how well she was doing in such a short amount of time, the dining area could use some improvements as far as I noticed some heaters broken and ceiling issues, but that has no effect on the great food they serve, my mom LOVES IT! She has been here 4 months now and thriving, she was even able to bring her cat Pariah with her which was a huge plus with her dementia, the residents are nice, staff is always friendly and very aware of what each resident is doing daily, I can’t speak highly enough about the activities, my mom is very social and active, this place has frequent outings, and at least 5 planned activities daily that your loved one can join in on, games, crafts, fishing, and shopping are just a few of my mom’s favorites so far, my mom was sick with the flu and they made sure she had medication to help her, brought her soup to her apt, and checked on her often throughout the day, I know this from her point of view because she would text me every-time they were there, She had some swelling in her legs, at 10 pm I contacted the head nurse and was able to get my mom care right away, the next morning the doctor was there to see her, not only did the head nurse calm me down (I was scared) she assured me that my mom was in good hands which she is, the facility is always clean, parking is perfect, residents are well cared for and protected, I sleep well at night now knowing my mom has 24/7 care. I can’t thank the staff, nurses, doctors, kitchen staff, directors and everyone at Victory Center of Sierra Ridge enough for making this stage of my life and my moms life better and more positive for us both. (Photo is of my mom enjoying her favorite sandwich in the dining area, corned beef)

Latrice and Sean were both great. Latrice made the process from initial call to move in day very easy and was always available for questions. The tour was also very well conducted.

I really admire the Activities Department of this facility. This building has very lively "Happy Hour", fun bus trips, luau parties, and live music that keep the residents engage and active. They recently launched a " Back to School" program that includes classes that focus on cooking, sewing, woodworking , rockets, and technology. I find launching different model rockets very interesting and the technology class helps residents to properly use smartphones and computers. Never a dull moment in this building.

LaTrice McGee, the Lifestyle Specialist, is extremely helpful and informative. She definitely is a benefit to the facility!

The best place I could of placed my dad who can't really live on his on, but assistant living works out well.
August 2020
We had a very difficult situation with my Mother who needed emergency placement, she has COPD and needs special care at times, and due to Covid 19 we had financial constraints we normally wouldn't have, not only did Latrice McGhee do a above and beyond outstanding job getting my Mothers application processed, but the rest of the entire staff have been amazing ! We moved Mom's things in this past Sunday before she arrived and Westin the Maintenance Assistant there saw her A/c unit wasn't perfect and he on his own volition replaced it for her so she wouldn't have trouble breathing or be too hot. The Team worked with us to get all Mom's Medicare and Medicaid papers filed and believe me I looked at several other places and encountered so many ignorant people unwilling to help a sick older lady these people have a level of Compassion and Professionalism that just isn't seen in their industry very much anymore, which is sad. Their Wellness Manager Jennifer took control of dealing with complex medication issues with my Mother's health and handled it like it was routine and simple when in fact it is far from that. I served in the Military and Law Enforcement, my wife is a former Home Health care worker and I am extremely comfortable with the safety and care levels at Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge as long as these top quality people are at the helm and in charge. A company is reflected by it's employee's and if these people are the reflection of everyone I did not yet meet yet at Victory Centre, then I strongly feel this company knows how to do business and care for our elderly when we cannot. God Bless all who work there and Thank you to Latrice McGhee for being an exceptional human being it's takes more than just a paycheck to do what she did for my Mom and I it took a heart and she has a huge one !

The experience I've had with getting my father processed in with Sierra Ridge Country Club Hills was outstanding. the staff was very professional and caring. I would really like to recognize Latrice McGee who did an outstanding throughout this process answering questions we may have, and assisting the family when needed. If the rest of the staff at this facility is as diligent in their duties as she is this will be a great place to send your love ones. 🙂

Great staff dedicated to patient care
March 2019
My first experience with Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge was with atrice McGee; she greeted me and gave me an extensive tour of the facility for my sister. I was extremely impressed with her kindness and professionalism she displayed. Latrice was cordial, professional, and patience; outlining daily activities and any question or concerns I mentioned. I can finally sleep at night knowing that my sister is in the best of care with Latrice and her colleagues. Whenever I contact Latrice she always has details answers, utilizing her experience and expertise. It's always a pleasure meeting with her. Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge is by far the best assisted living facility my sister has ever experienced.

January 2018
Nice place friendly nursing staff and receptionist
January 2018
The only thing I dont like about this place is that during the winter, only one side of the building gets cleaned of snow which is the assistant living side. The side where independent living is, never gets cleaned so those elderly people run the risk of falling and injuring themselves possible breaking something.
