My father stayed at Reflections at Garden Place in Columbia, IL for about four years. They treated him like he was part of their family. In the years he was there, we never once had any doubts that he was in good hands.

My mother resided there for around four years and me and my sisters loved having her there. Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly. They go above and beyond for all the residents. Even spending their own money for gifts for the residents. We would give the facility more than five stars if we could!

I cannot say enough good things about Reflections at Garden Place. My mother lived there for five years. After helping her and all of the family in her transition, she settled in, made many friends, and loved living there. She was not only provided with the necessary care of daily living, but also so many fun times and family get-togethers. She was so happy and content there. When Mom reached the end stages of her life, Reflections staff stepped up and worked with Hospice to make her last days the best they could be. They not only took care of her, but the family who was there 24 hours a day for a week. The last years of my Mom's life was filled with good food, fun activities, and lots of loving care. Our entire family is so grateful for this wonderful place and excellent staff.

This place and the staff are absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a place for your loved one to live and you can be at ease - this is your place. The staff here are all well-trained on Dementia, allowing them to safely and knowledgeably care for your family member. Each resident has their own private room equipped with their own bathroom. The common area is a great place where residents gather and watch old westerns, and listen to live music. On sunny days, you can catch the residents all outside with their sun hats and sun glasses enjoying the afternoon. The small size of this memory care allows the residents and caregivers to become like family. The memory care is set-up in a cozy home-like environment with a central living room and dining room, but private bedrooms. Staff to resident ratios are low allowing great care and attention to each resident here. It is showing how the staff truly care for the residents and are educated in how to treat Dementia and behaviors associated with Dementia in an appropriate, calm, and sometimes even creative manner. I would highly recommend for quality care for a loved one with Dementia.

We moved our mom into Reflections in June 2022, we were welcomed with open arms. The staff made this transition into a memory care very easy and seamless. I felt comfortable and confident that mom was not only taken care but genuinely loved by those ladies. Our mom lost her battle with Lewy Body Dementia in January 2023. A big thanks to all those special women that work there. I consider them my dear friends.

Reflections at Garden Place has been a wonderful choice for my granny. The Director, Leha, has been so good to work with and has been available from the start to help me with any questions/concerns that I have had. Between her and the staff the transition was so easy for all of us. The staff is absolutely amazing, caring and so involved with each one of the residents. They play games, have parties, do crafts, go on fieldtrips, have manicure days and so much more. Granny absolutely loves it here and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision.

The staff communicates extremely well concerning her care, moods and help that she needs. I have ABSOLUTELY no complaints whatsoever and highly recommend the facility for either a loved one or friend suffering from this terrible disease. I have so much more peace of mind now knowing that my mother is being cared for and her needs are being met in a safe environment by caring and nurturing staff when I cannot be there in person. The smaller facility (20 apartments) is ideal for allowing the staff to be more attentive to the resident's needs. They try to engage her in activities daily and she enjoys the meals and gatherings.

My husband was a resident here because of his Alzheimers. The caring staff always to care to see to his needs, whether physical or emotional. Each day brings activities and seasonal fun things to do. I highly recommend Reflections. Its small size means lots of individual attention.

My father moved into Reflections in August, 2020. Yes, right in the middle of Covid. The staff are super friendly and encourage us to call as often as we wish. Because the facility has capacity for 19 residents each member of the staff gets personally acquainted with the residents. You can see the happiness in my Dads expressions every time we visit. Just as important is the facility itself. My Dads personal suite has a large sitting room with two recliners, a tv and a book case; a large bedroom area that accommodates a queen size bed; plus a full bathroom with shower-tub, vanity and of course toilet. I could write a longer review paying more compliments but I think you get the gist. We absolutely love this place and the staff.

There are absolutely NO WORDS to describe Reflections at Garden Place. God sent ANGELS to watch over my mom. The entire staff and other residents have become part of our family. I thank God for them everyday! Thank you to Leha and the gang for treating mom like she is your mom! I love you all!

Leha and the staff at Reflections at Garden Place Columbia are just amazing! Leha went out of her way to keep us informed daily about how Dad (who had Frontotemporal Dementia) was adjusting. That made such a difference for us and made us feel comfortable knowing how well our Dad was taken care of. I cant imagine if we had taken Dad anywhere else, because that is such a tough thing to do with your parent. We were truly Blessed to have found such a caring environment for Dad to stay.

It is such a hard decision to have to find a facility to care for you loved one. We were thankful Reflections had an opening once we were ready. My father had FTD dementia and Leha and the staff all took such good care of him while he was there. He could be hard to handle at times and they managed to do everything in their power to care for him. The staff would share their food and drinks with dad when he wanted what they were having. Dad was only there a short time before COVID hit and Leha was good about keeping us informed about dads day.

The staff is doing great in posting pics of the residents on Facebook having fun during various holidays and events! Its great to be able to see smiles of our loved ones even when we cant visit with them during these tough times. The team is great!

A little over a year ago when my brother died we had to quickly find a place for my Sister in law Mariyn. She was unable to live alone, she needed a memory care facility. Reflections was the first place we checked and fortunately they had an opening. I immediately felt that it was the place for her. The staff were so professional, open and friendly and the residents all appeared to very well cared for. The cleanliness and smell of good food were all pluses. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. As a retired nursing administrator I can not say enough about how impressed I am with the care. Even with all the challenges of 2020( not the least not being able to visit with Marilyn) the care has continued to be excellent. I am looking forward to when I can return to more in person visits and get to know the staff better. They have done an excellent job communicating with us during these trying times. I would highly recommend Reflections at Garden Place to any family seeking a place for a loved one with dementia. The staff is excellent and very caring. When we moved my mother there, the staff not only cared for her, but also helped us all as a family to work through the transition. Cant imagine any place that could be better.

My Mom was at Garden Place for a few years and the staff loved my Mom like she was their Mom. I never had to worry if she was cared for, kiss and hugged enough, had a full belly, and was happy because the staff made sure she had all of the above. God hand picked each and every staff member to work there because they are incredible and truly earths Angels. My Mom was so loved and so well taken care of and I will be eternally grateful for the happiness they brought her and the care they gave her. She loved all of them so very much. I have to mention two individuals, Allison and Zelina, Mom absolutely adored them. Not only did my Mom have a family at Garden Place I did as well. I am Rebas daughter.

As a caregiver for an aging parent who developed a form of dementia which made it too difficult to provide care at home, I sought a knowledgeable solution that would provide the safety and care needed at this unique time of life...I found Reflections. Better yet...I found a group of caring, knowledgeable people who wanted to help not just my parent, but myself and my family. I am so thankful for the non-stop care they provide and at a cost that is more than reasonable. If you have a loved one who needs special care due illnesses such as dementia, do not hesitate to call. Reflections cant cure the illness, but they can cure our ailing souls by giving us peace of mind at a moment in life that isnt easy for anyone.

My Grandmother has been at Reflections at Garden Place for a few months, and we feel so lucky to have her at such a wonderful place. It has not been easy for her to transition from her home to assisted living, but the staff has been so patient with her, and has helped make her feel at home in her new environment. The rooms are private, spacious, and well maintained with large windows and room for visitors. I have been there for many meal times, and the food looks delicious. They have activities throughout the day and movies in the evenings, and they host parties for holidays and invite friends and family to join. The entire staff seems so caring and competent. I have never had any doubt that my Grandmother is being well cared for.

Finding the right place for my mother was the most important thing Ive done in recent years. I visited multiple facilities in the St. Louis area and found many to be newer, bigger and more costly? What I found at Reflections was a warm, friendly atmosphere in a feels like home building that was more comfortable for Mom. The staff is caring and management is excellent.

Reflections has been a true blessing to my mother, Faye, and to our family. My sister and brother-in-law took my mom to live with them in St. Louis after Hurricane Michael. We live in Panama City. We only have two nursing homes open and operating in our city at this time. I know that God led my sister to take my mom to Reflections. I have never been away from my mom more than ten days at a time. I could not even deal with this situation if it were not for Reflections! They have amazing activities for their residents. They CARE about their residents and they actually reply to me if I have questions. They should be Number 1 in the Hall of Fame for memory care facilities, assisted living homes, and nursing homes!!! My family really appreciated the level of care my father received at Reflections for the 2+ years he was there. Our family member was a resident at Reflections of Garden Place for over 2.5 years, and our experience was very good. It is not easy when you have to make the decision to place your loved one in a memory care facility. However, the staff and atmosphere at Reflections made it a little easier. It's a small facility, where individualized attention is given. The staff is extremely caring and wants to provide the best care for your loved one. Our family member was treated with incredible kindness. The food is good, and there are plenty of different activities to participate in. Overall, the quality of care our family member received from the staff was what kept us there for over 2.5 years. (And, while we are Missouri residents, we typically would not have considered a place across the river, but with the easy highway access, it wasn't far at all.)
