Staff were very helpful to me, during my first visit to the facility. The wine and cheese with music party was perfect for my father in law age 93, who is a recent admission to Belmont Village

I work for an outside agency and come to Belmont Village often to visit one of my clients. Coming from someone who has worked in an assisted living setting, I have to say this building is filled with so many team members who genuinely care about their residents. You can feel the warmth right when you walk in and I have witnessed such great staff/resident interactions. Belmont also has an amazing memory care program that keeps their residents not only engaged, but gives them a sense of purpose and routine. I would absolutely recommend Belmont Village to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their loved one.

Fantastic assisted living home! The staff are all kind and caring, and they are very invested in the happiness and well being of residents. Belmont Village also has specialist therapeutic programs for residents who are starting to experience memory loss, which have really helped my own mother and sister. I highly recommend Belmont Village.

I was trying to visit my step sister Mary Fell, but she was not up for a visit. I was in town to see my brother, and thought I would stop in and see her. Didn't work out, but I will try on my next visit to Chicago.

We moved our mom into Memory Care at Belmont Village Lincoln Park earlier this year after she began having worrisome falls while she was living with family. She just needed more care than we could give. It was a very hard decision, but the staff held our hands as we adjusted, as much as our mom did. She is now safer, well cared for, and very much more engaged than she was able to be before. We are welcome to visit and join in any time, and we do. When we do have concerns, they are addressed fairly promptly. The aides who provide her one on one care are truly wonderful people!

The staff at Belmont have been great to work with! We have a family member who is resistant to change and unwilling to take the necessary steps. Belmont has been super helpful with the transition. I've been by once a week for the past 5 weeks and each time the interaction with staff & LPNs has been great. Their observations show me they are taking the time to learn about their new resident and provide comfort and care. The activity coordinators stop by to let their residents know when there are gatherings which help provide structure and socialization.

My mom moved into BVLP 7 weeks ago after being in the hospital. The staff at Belmont Village, Lincoln Park is outstanding. This is a difficult decision for a lot of families but the staff was and has been extremely understanding and knew exactly what to do. The transition/move in could not have gone better. I know my mother is in good hands. It's a relief to have found such a wonderful facility.

This place has been so accommodating to me and my family! It is a beautiful facility with great amenities and superior care. The staff truly cares about each and every person. The dining room offers 3 meals a day with daily specials and a great variety. Lots to keep you busy during the day and evenings - music, movies, card games and more! Lauren and the staff have gone above and beyond to make my stay so comfortable. I can’t say enough about Belmont Village!

The move to Belmont Village was the best move for my mother. She enjoys the concern of the staff and that she doesn't have to worry about anything. Although her memory is diminishing, she remains verbal and engaged. This is so much better than her being isolated in her home with a caregiver. Especially during the pandemic, that isolation was detrimental to her overall health and the move to Belmont Village Lincoln Park was a very positive move.

We had to move Mom into a Memory CareAssisted Living home quickly after she recovered from emergency surgery. We had a few days to make a decision and to orchestrate the move.We wereare very impressed with the quality of the facility, the anticipated quality of care, and most of all, with the understanding and assistance of the admissions personnel. When had to make the move for Mom, our mind was well made up.The admission process could not have been made easier by the head of Community Relations. She expertly walked us through the process, kept us apprised on a daily basis, arranged numerous Zoom calls, and walked us through the paper work and financial arrangements. Everything advertised was done expertly with care, precision, and concern.Once Mom moved, her entrance was done expertly. We have ultimate confidence in the staff at BVLP and are very pleased that Mom is there. She is settling in nicely and loves her new home.

Our very independent but stubborn dad needed to rehab from a recent hospital stay (too many stairs at the house) and The Belmont is in our neighborhood so it was an easy decision. Weve all found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and dedicated to the residents and their wellbeing. Dad says the food is fantastic and his conversations with staff and residents have been interesting and stimulating. The staff take the virus very seriously and have established dedicated practices to make sure everyone stays safe. Dad gets healthy food, great socialization, physical therapy and check-ins from the nursing staff - theyve made him feel quite at home.

Lauren from Belmont Village was super helpful and responsive, giving my family the resources we needed to make the best choice for our Dad.
December 2020
Belmont Village has been a great resource for my father and our family. He moved into BV in late 2019 with mild cognitive issues. BV was wonderful to work with and accommodated so many needs. They made us feel very special. Soon after him moving in, his health declined (at no fault of BV) and Donna and her team were wonderful in helping us assess the right care for my dad and transferring services. The caregivers are warm-hearted people and go above and beyond to make all of us comfortable. I never worry that he is in good, caring hands. The residents are friendly. And Silvia is a GREAT cook. She knows what my dad likes and treats him like a king. Making a decision on the right care center is not an easy task but if I had to make the decision again, I would chose Belmont Village without hesitation.
October 2020
Lauren and the team at Belmont Village Lincoln Park have exceeded my expectations in welcoming my dad to his new home. I was nervous, as this is his first time in an assisted living facility, but Laurens attentiveness and efficiency have made this transition seamless for us. I am relieved and excited for my dad to join this vibrant community, experience the thoughtful activities they have planned for him, and know he is well taken care of 247.

I am so very grateful for BVLP. It is hard-very hard to admit you cannot do it all. My mom is super fun and friendly but doesnt remember 5 minutes ago. With 3 small children in COVID and remote learning it was hard to admit that I couldnt do it all...but she was bored with me.What drew me to BV was their Circle of Friends program...short term memory care that doesnt need a lot of physical care- just chit chat, redirection, support, programming reminders and someone to listen to their amazing stories a million times with a smile. They are the cutest bunch, they eat all meals together, live on the same floor and do a scheduled day of programming. They have free reign of the building and my mom calls it her office. They dont micromanage (she wants to be very independent!) and if i could be best friends with the team, I would. I text with them all day and I love them for being so kind and fun and loving with my mom and MEEEEEEE!!!The building is stunning and they have so many things planned AND because it is a perfect sized building, they get to know everyone and can help direct to what they would like to do. It is calm (she used that word a lot, my household was a tad crazy I guess) and the short term memory loss residents have a daily rhythm that helps her even seem betterI miss my mom so much and wait impatiently for COVID to go away so we can hang like we used to, but in the meantime, forever grateful for BVLP for the freedom and fun they give my mom every day, THANK YOU FOR loving my mom and going above and beyond for us! My mother has been at Belmont Village Lincoln Park for over a year. She has been well cared for during this pandemic. I am happy to report that there have been no resident that has been infective with the covid 19 virus. Good job BVLP
October 2020
We moved my mother into BVLP just prior to the pandemic lockdown, and wow, are we glad we did! The transition from from her former residence to BVLP was as flawless as it gets. The team made the process so, so easy. And then, Mom has simply thrived in the many months she has now lived there. The team is attentive to her, learns her habits and needs, and since the advancement of her dementia to late-stage, Mom has never done better then since she has lived at Belmont Village Lincoln Park...

As a professional, who has been entrusted with providing resources for the special care of your loved ones in communities such as these for over 25 years, I can reassure you that Belmont Village – Lincoln Park (BVLP) is a wonderful new community. Although it has only been open for about one year, we have placed several residents there, and their relatives have had nothing but superlatives to say regarding their loved ones care. Our most recent experience with Belmont Village - Lincoln Park was highly positive. My clients were moving their mother from an independent setting to BVLP so she could receive the additional support she needed. They felt the staff was extraordinary and went above and beyond to help during this very difficult journey for their mother.During these challenging times with COVID-19, Belmont Village has taken precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of their residents, staff and family members. They are quick to address all concerns.BVLP provides a caring environment, and a high staff-to-resident ratio - especially helpful with Dementia residents. They truly bring a personal touch of care to each individual.
