I arrived at this nursing facility, not knowing what to expect. My stay has been WON /DERFUL!! The staffing is friendly,kind ,caring and always willing to make you smile. I have been to many nursing homes in the past the past. Please don't be foolish and past this one by. It's clean , the food is good and I cannot say enough good about it.

cMy Daddi was cared for in this facility June 18, 2024 thru July 6, 2024. All CNA responsibilities were done by my family, we preferred it that way. His facility doctor, Dr O. was a very compassionate soul. She handled him like she would her own parents. Took time to explain his medical issues and listened. Facility nurse, Jamille Lightfoot was very smooth, patient, respectful, and resourceful. If questions arise about meds and procedure. She had answers and when she didn't she inquired of others. Than there is Nurse Hose Taupo. He was the one who was assigned to give my Daddi his meds. He was very joyful, patient, and compassionate when he served my Daddi. Always had a big smile on his face, and was very respectful. He never put any pressure on him to take his meds. When he would, , Nurse Hose aka Walter just came back later. The main Physical Therapist, Nikoleta N., was divine! What compassion patience she showed my Daddi. She smoothly bumped him up before getting him going. She took her time as it was her family members. She always took her time with him and no force was applied. When she asked if he wanted to stop, she respected his words. She is very kind and her desire to help others, reflects well. Even though we serviced my Daddi in the responsibilities of the CNA.CNA Tracy Bailey, kept herself available for whatever we had needed. She helped in taking him out and in bed, getting linens, food trays, and constant checking in to make sure we had no need. Her pleasantness, patience, compassion, and professionalism, to name a few. Gave us comfort that she cared for the well being of our loved one. Love that she didn't over crowd us with unnecessary nonsense. I can't remember the Speech Therapist's name. But the young lady was very, very, very patient with my Daddi. She spoke soft and kind to him. She didn't force him to eat nor drink. Her soft voice and kind words encouraged him to do so. I gave it a three star rating because the room needed thorough, including the windows. I used a wet soaky big towel and cleansed the floor, it was dirty black. Did the same with windows on the inside. Overall, I would refer this location in Chicago Ridge.

My grandmother resides here and let me tell you something. This place is super clean, well kept, super positive and has extremely nice, respectful and outstanding people working here. They take care of my grandmother's needs and wants. They make sure everything is up to date. They are always calling me to give me updates on her condition and how she is doing. I trust them to take very good care of her. I fully recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a rehabilitation center.

Both my parents were at Aventura Chicago Ridge. The nurses and staff are great! Thank you for being good to my mom and dad and always communicating with me. Andrea, the social worker, was wonderful.

My Cousin was sent to Avantara in a very weakened condition after two hospital visits. Because of the physical therapy and help he received at Avantara Chicago Ridge he is now walking and able to be moved to assisted living, where he can have his own studio apartment and keep his cat. Andrea was excellent at commutations with the family and went beyond the call of duty in helping my Cousin. Also, Keshia, Blair, Jo Jo, Jeff and Marcy in Physical Therapy, and Roy were instrumental in helping John get better and were all very kind and patient. We thank you for all your excellent help.

My mother was at this facility for three months Compared to other facilities this place is 5 star!! Clean , caring and above all extremely modern. Since my mother left this place she went down hill! She has passed away.

My Aunt was staying at Advantara Chicago Ridge for maybe 3 to 4 weeks. Some how her things ended up getting lost somehow??. Advantara has been active with us and working hard to recover the most important things to be recovered. So we are now just waiting for now. Will update soon.

My experience was very positive. At patient discharge the nurse was exceptional when explaining my mother's loadout of medications and making sure she had a supply to take home. Her chart was prepped and communicated to her primary care doctor so he could continue to assist in her care once she was brought home. The staff worked well with our care giver for showering and physical therapy. Any mishaps were ironed out with good communication.

Worked through an agency as a nurse at Lexington of CR. I give much respect and high praise to the CNA staff who diligently and lovingly care for the residents. Outstanding with their ADL care and no excuses or complaints to providing showers as scheduled regardless to the workload that may be at hand. The CNAs hold high regard to assuring cleanliness and respect to the residents. A great team of CNAs that take pride in their assignments hats off to those I have encountered and worked closely with...

I'm a former employee of 12 years . I really enjoyed working with the patients and the company . I sit and look at the complaints and bad reviews and say to myself that these people really doesn't know what's out there. I worked in so many different places via agency and will not dare step foot back in nor will I tell someone I even worked there. No place is perfect. They all have some pros and cons. But I believe in my heart that this place is alright. They do believe in ironing out the glitches... Let's keep it 100%, a lot of companies lost staff due to COVID. Nurses and CNAS are chasing the money, or however wants to make their own schedule .... Then you have people that can't even do COVID care. It's going on every where. Be thankful to even have some staff anywhere.. OAN , let me know about that perfect place , I'm gonna go work there too , to see what the commotion is all about
