My Mother in Law resides in this facility where she has been living for a year. The staff including Anna, Megan, Humberto and Georgi are world class. They are responsive to her needs and they all have a great attitude and work ethic. We are so lucky that she lives here and we all have complete confidence in her care. If you are thinking about moving your loved one here I assure you they will be happy and content. We love seeing Jo Jo who is always there to greet us when we arrive

Buffalo Grove Sunrise was an outstanding experience for our family for almost 6 years. They were caring, supportive and professional. When asking our Naun what she thought of the staff she would say "they are wonderful." That says it all!!

It was time to move my mother into assisted living. Her health was failing, she was falling and 24/7 live-in help wasn't an option. I chose Sunrise of Buffalo Grove because it was close to my mom's (former) home and knew friends would drop in to say hello. I toured the facility and was impressed with the Sunrise team, the rooms they had available, the activities they offered, and of course, the cleanliness of the place. My mom's experience and mine were top notch. The caregivers really care! They're friendly, thoughtful, compassionate and I felt like they treated my mom as if she was their own. My mom has passed now but I'm grateful for the wonderful care she received. Linta and Alexis are A+++.

The first time I entered sunrise in buffalo grove I felt it was warm, inviting, clean and the smell of apple pie and popcorn filled the air. I actually cried because I was so terrified that my mom would be sad to leave her home in Florida and here I stood in this bed and breakfast like setting! I loved it then and ever since for my mom I think we’re going on year three. She feels loved and well taken care of. She’s not a big eater but always tells me Sophie is a good cook! The staff are kind and caring and always pleasant. The nursing staff when needed are attentive, compassionate,and professional. The activities are fun and keep the place hopping thank you Sue! Lorena is a terrific director and knows her business! I tell everyone I know who is considering care for their parents to please visit Sunrise in Buffalo Grove. Not only is it wonderful in every way but it is a good value. Thank you Sunrise staff for keeping my mom safe and happy!!

I moved my mother here in May from a different assisted living facility and definitely made the right decision. The smaller size and home-like atmosphere have been wonderful for her, but the biggest asset is the staff. Everyone, from caregivers to concierge to sales to assisted living staff, is so positive and happy. You can tell they care about the residents and enjoy what they do. Lots of nice little extra touches (small mailboxes by each resident's door; snacks/beverages always available in the bistro; front porch with comfortable rocking chairs; wind chimes and nice pots of plants outside; house dog, Molly) really make this feel like a home. Very happy with the care Mom is getting and would recommend to anyone looking for assisted living care for a loved one.

Moving a loved one into an assisted living facility for the first time is always a stressful experience, however the staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Buffalo Grove made my mother's transition into their community as seamless as possible. They were helpful, flexible and compassionate, while providing guidance, additional resources and support. Once my mother became a member of the community, the high level of professionalism and exceptional care continued. The staff worked hard to make her feel included and encouraged her to participate in activities they knew she would like. They even incorporated her favorite foods in their menu. After looking at many facilities prior to choosing Sunrise, we are without a doubt ,happy with the decision we made. Knowing our mom would be safe and nurtured has been godsend.

This is the place! It feels like home. The residents all seemed to love being there and the staff was amazing. They offer all of the services we need and we'll be setting up an evaluation to get things started.
