I am a Hospice nurse with patients at The Birches. I am very well aware that in my line of work most people are quick to criticize. I'd like to take a moment to say thank you to the staff in the memory care unit. This is an extremely hard unit to work in full time. You must have a heart and a devotion to make life better for our residents in memory care. The staff that worked day shift today, 9/11/24, (Wednesday) go above and beyond every time they are working. From curling hair, to walking residents outside, or just sitting quietly and listening. So shout out to Zoe, Emily, Lydia, and the young lady with the curling iron skills! Keep up the great work! You do make a difference! It's an honor to work with everyone of y'all!

Visited The Birches today and I was amazed by the caring compassionate staff. The place is truly like a community and a home away from home for the residents. It is orderly and super clean. The "It's Never Too Late" program for the seniors is amazing and the residents were happy and engaged while we were there.

My mom moved in September of 2022, When I walked in I could tell that this place was special. She's in memory care and I could tell that she was being well taken care of, she had gained weight and looks so wonderful. Also she was participating in game activity which was great. Thank you guys so much for taking care of my mother.

Our dad lived in Memory Care at The Birches for ten and a half months before his passing. Our family could not be more pleased with the loving care he received. The staff is so respectful and caring with their residents who suffer with dementia. They keep them engaged and make sure they spend as much time as possible with others, participating in activities that keep their minds and bodies active. The staff also worked closely with our dad's Tanner physician to be sure his treatment met his needs. When the time came for our dad to receive hospice care, the Birches staff worked seamlessly alongside the hospice care team, making sure he received everything he needed for a peaceful, comfortable transition. The support our family felt was far beyond anything we could have hoped for. What a blessing to have this facility in our community. Rita and her staff run a very tight ship, coupled with true affection for their residents. Thank you so much for making our dad's last 10 months as good as they possibly could have been!

My mom moved in January 1, 2022. She appears to be thriving in this lovely place. The workers and staff are so nice, helpful and friendly. Her social time is busy busy. Happy to have her so close to us.

We moved my dad to the Birches a few months ago and we love it! The facility is brand new and very beautiful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Rita, Rahimah, Kyle and April are absolute STARS! Thank you for making my Dad's transition into AL so wonderful!

The Birches at Villa Rica was home for my mother in law for four months which were the last four months of her life. During her time there the staff was compassionate, professional and were there to meet her needs. The facilities were very nice, functional and designed very well for her level of care. We would recommend The Birches for your Assisted Living and Memory Care needs

Mom has turned in into a butterfly while she has been here. We were so worried. She receives personal attention. The nurses and aides are so sweet to her and our family. They meet mom where she is. We especially Love Hailey who is always on top of mom's needs. Mom loves to watch the Braves and Lee always makes sure her TV is tuned to the correct channel. And it is Braves time again!

My father moved to the assisted living wing of the Birches in October 2021. The facility is new and reminiscent of an upscale resort. There are various daily activities and a nice courtyard for the residents to enjoy. The staff is professional, attentive, caring and compassionate. A staff member recently brought my father a care package of honey and cough drops when he was a little under the weather which is going above and beyond... They care and take an interest in the wellbeing of folks who live here. My father has shared with me how pleased he is at the Birches.

My mother moved in last September. The facility itself is very beautiful. Everyone has been very kind to my mother. The administrative staff have been very helpful. I am so thankful for the activities and events offered and that they are willing to take them offsite for some exciting adventures . Her room and friends there are beautiful .

There is a lot of love at this assisted living facility. The staff truly care about the residents and look out for them! One of the residents runs a Bible study, but no one is forced to participate. The building and courtyards are gorgeous, and they remind me of a fancy resort that I stayed at many years ago. The dining room and the food itself reminds of a country club. They just opened up a few weeks ago, and the staff are already beginning to memorize the residents' preferences for meals. I volunteer here to help with the activities program. If I ever need assisted living when I get older, my first choice of facilities would be The Birches in Villa Rica!
