Our Mom has been in assisted living for almost 2 years. We can’t say enough good about her care. When there have been challenges-as there are with elderly people - the staff has been responsive and caring. We have no reservation in recommending assisted living as Christian City!

From day one, the Christian City Assisted Living Center has proven to be the right choice for the advanced care for my 90+ year old grandmother after she suddenly suffered a stroke in 2025. Our previous experience with CCALC was for care for my grandfather in 2019. We knew what to expect so we chose Christian City again and we are so pleased with the experience over the past 10 months. The initial rehabilitation center greatly assisted reviving my grandmother's motor skills, speech, and cognitive abilities. The persistent therapy programs, encouraging staff, and skilled nursing worked very well and now my VERY capable grandmother is enjoying her life again. Once the initial therapy reached a successful point, Ransom Antoine, the Assisted Living Administrator at Christian City engaged with us regarding transitioning over to the Sparks Center for assisted living. Ransom provided all the information we needed, along with a very kind conversation so my grandmother would find comfort and assurance in the decision to transition and become a resident at Christian City for extended assistance care. I'm very appreciative of Ransom taking the time to speak with her on a daily basis still, as she certainly enjoys their talks. What an amazing difference this experience has made in her life! We are very pleased with everything overall. We are grateful to Ransom, the entire care staff from the very beginning to current day of this journey, and all of the team who has provided this level of quality care that has improved my grandmother's daily life so much. I very highly recommend Chirstian City should you ever find a need for this level of care. God Bless!

Christian City Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Union City was the best decision my family and I made in placing our mom in a skilled nursing center. It was very difficult to do but necessary. We were pleased with mom's health care plan. The fourth-floor unit manager Ms. Shanita Davis and her staff were phenomenal, our questions, concern's needs, decisions, accommodations were all addressed. Thank you, Christian City, continue to be great in all you do.

My mother was a resident of Christian City for 3 months from July to September 2025 in the skilled nursing building. During her time at the facility, she was well cared for by the staff on the third floor and the unit supervisor Ms. Davis. From day one there was open communication and any concerns we had were immediately addressed. I have a background in long term care and when it came time for me to make the decision about long term care for my Mom it was difficult. I know about nursing homes and the reputation some of them have. We made a good choice to send her to Christian City because as her condition declined (due to multiple medical issues) the team at Christian City intervened with recommendations to address each area of decline as they occurred. The staff was friendly and did they job with compassion. I spoke with the Director of Nurses, and he told me he has an open-door policy so if we needed to talk, he was there. I let him know the staff on the third floor with Ms. Davis at the helm was so good I never had to talk with him other than to give him feedback as I have stated. My Mom transitioned to Hospice care there at the facility and that process was seamless. Sadly, she was not on Hospice long, but we were able to utilize the support systems they offered. From admissions to the business office to rehabilitation department to the food in the dining area for staff and visitors to the library and family rooms and auditorium to just sitting outside in a rocking chair enjoying the sunshine, I have only good things to say and would give this facility a good recommendation.

Christian City Assisted Living has been a true blessing for my family. The staff is absolutely amazing and takes great care of my mom. Anytime there is an issue or concern, Ransom and his team are immediately on top of it. Their customer service is outstanding, and they communicate with me consistently, which gives me so much peace of mind. You can ask Ransom anything, and he will make sure it gets done. My mom has adjusted so well in such a short amount of time, and it truly shows how caring and supportive the environment is. The facility is always clean and well maintained. I am beyond grateful for the care and compassion shown to my mom.

We moved my mom to Christian city asst living in July. We moved her out Nov. Communication is awful. Some of the staff is mean and hateful. The food is horrible. One of the staff yelled at my mom and made her cry. They lost her laundry and she didn’t have underwear for 4 days. I do Have to say that I met The activities director and she was very nice and seemed to like her job.

The facility is always clean, beautifully maintained, and full of life. There are so many engaging activities ” from exercise classes and art projects to outings and social events ” that keep residents active and connected. The dining options are excellent too; the food is fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared. What truly stands out is the sense of community. Everyone, from management to caregivers, treats residents with dignity and respect. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my loved one is in such capable, compassionate hands.

My mother has been living at the Assisted Living facility for 7 months. The staff is friendly, respectful, and they treat her well. As she adjusts to her new normal, she has expressed her satisfaction with the overall care she receives. She is making friends and starting to enjoy this new stage of her life. For me, leadership matters. The Administrator, Ransom, has proven to be reliable, trustworthy, sincere, and transparent. I do not live in the area, therefore, it is extremely important to me that Leadership demonstrates they want the best for its residents and will work with the employees and families to ensure their care and safety. Ransom has done that. I ask a lot of questions, have extremely high expectations, and I want my mother taken care of with the best people/quality surroundings possible. She has high medical needs, so administering medication as doctors prescribe them is extremely important. With me being so far away, I know that there are people on staff who will help solve issues quickly and thoroughly. Ransom has earned my trust which makes me confident this facility can meet my mother’s needs for the long term.

The caregivers and CNAs took very good care of my mother while she was there. They were caring, helpful and supportive of her and our family’s needs. My mother enjoyed the variety of nutritious meals and especially the club salad in the cafe. Ransom A., and Christine S., were always incredibly helpful and sensitive to our various needs and helped make the special care of our loved one affordable. The renovations thus far are absolutely beautiful!!!

The community is absolutely beautiful. Ask to speak to Dominque, she is exuberant and has a comforting character. She answered every question with enthusiasm and trust me I ask a lot of questions. Dominques customer service alone is 10/10.

5 stars across the board!!! i am in love with Pruitt Health Christian City! My father has been here for several years, and he loves it just as much as i do. Leaving my father here gives me a peaceful mind knowing he's taken care of and loved. I also can say the new administration has taken the facility to new heights. They are slain rennovwting the whole facility and so far it’s looking amazing. Keep up the good work Pruitt!

On October 25, 2024 staff from Pruitt Christian City called 911 to report an act of sexual battery that was perpetrated upon my mother by a fellow resident on the dementia unit. My mother was transported to Grady hospital where a rape kit was performed. The diaper she was wearing was soiled with blood. The assailant had blood on his hands that was witnessed by staff and police. The incident is currently being investigated by local authorities.

First time visiting this place to see my husband's aunt, she's recovering from a stroke. On 10/20/24, and soon as we walk in at maybe 2:00 p.m. or a lol later, staff sitting at desk talking not acknowledging no-one when they enter building, then we went to check-in at the check-in station after 10 min. Lady says come over here who you here to see , tells us the room # & what floor his aunts on . Soon after you get off elevator the strong overpowering smell of urine hits you immediately ! We get to her room a young lady sitting at her desk just looks up, not asking who we're there to see, or any other communication ! She's right across from Aunt room , we enter she's sitting on edge of her bed and the gown they had her in was hanging off her shoulder & her backside, and breast were exposed . We proceed to ask how she's been doing , she goes on to tell us she's waiting to be changed, and no one has come to do it. We speak to the young lady about it she informs us her nurse would be there in 20 minutes , So our aunt daughter shows up 10 min. Later & we tell her the situation. She speaks to the attendant, she looks annoyed that she's being ask to get help , then walks off ! We wait another 20 min. or more for someone to come they don't. By this time her other daughter arrives, we explain to her the situation, she then goes to the attendant and lets her know her mom needs help, aka where is the nurses, and why her mom hasn't been taken care of properly ! I know these facilities might not have the staff they need for the shifts they need them on , but they should be very conscious of the way there facility smells ,and the care of their patients ! It was disgusting, and sad, especially since the people there can't care for themselves, and are dependent on this place employees doing it for them ! I can get pass the fact that their short staff, but the smells of the facility not being disinfected to keep the overpowering smell of urine out is not acceptable ! Get those lazy folks you'll have , and put them to WORK cleaning, & sanitizing your facility that these comments gave them praise for ! And if you'll aren't having staff meetings to keep them on top of their jobs just close down ! Hate to say but its always the black community that seems to not wanna do their best when their best is needed !

I’ve toured twice in recent months, once with Mylea and once with Dr. Stephen Deraney. Both were fantastic, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the facility. It is a comfort to speak to residents who rave about the care and support they receive. It is wonderful to see the variety of activities aimed to engage residents, and I appreciate the continuing education and research implemented by the staff and admin. Everyone has been incredibly supportive helping us with the the medical, financial, and emotional steps of transitioning our loved one to assisted living. I’m beyond impressed with this facility.

It grieves my heart today to lock the door for the last time on my sisters room in Sparks Inn Christian City. This has been my sisters wonderful home for the last 5 1/2 years. Sissy thrived here with the friends and neighbors, assistance from attendants, Pastoral Care, meals, and planned activities. Sadly I am having to move her to Skilled Nursing due to a major decline in health. I highly recommend Sparks Inn for those seeking a new assisted environment! I love these folks!!!❤️

I was told some of the Nurses on his floor was so mean and non caring.The other Pts. was going through the same treatment. It hurt me to hear how he was treated,these are sick People! I was told how long he had to wait for WATER! The Social worker Ms. Johnson was very helpful,the Ladies that answers the phone was so sweet trying to connect me to whom ever. My husband said the threapist ,speat My husband told me how some of the Nures treated him and the other Pts in his room. He told me how long it took him to get Water!I understand maybe be short staff but treating pts. with compassion is of God.Someone came in his room took his Lysol spray. The threapist was helpful and kind to him. Hope we get the same threapy group schule for home treatment. The Operators was so pleasant ,good job Ladies!

The time may come when I will have to take advantage of assisted living, but for now I enjoy being in my OWN place, cooking, laundry, swimming, shopping, volunteering in my church and local library and taking advantage of some of the benefits available in walking distance or drive if want to.

We found ourselves suddenly the caregivers for my elderly mother with dementia. After trying to care for her in our home, we concluded that we could not keep her safe and happy. So we went looking for a place for her, some place with a strong and open memory care unit and a great environment. Christian City is that, 100%. We were made welcome. They were sensitive to her needs from the beginning. They are kind in coping with the strange thing she does. She actually has gained weight there. I can hardly imagine a facility doing a better job. She is safe, and as happy as she can be.

This place has provided housing for my Mother in the past and my sister now. I wouldn't recommend the nursing home but all other areas of care and housing are great. The staff is very caring and helpful.

Let's start with the excellent 1. Physical therapy excellent 2. Managed of health care very good 3. No private rooms not good at all 4. Discharge did not follow carthee plan. 5. Food Not too my liking but most place like this does not. If I was rating physical therapy and health care site would 4.5 stars.
