This place is an all for show insurance scam Easy to get in to but their promises are all lies. Everyone smiles and says please and thank you but in reality it is like The Hotel California. You are never allowed to leave. 5 months of lies and I still am not allowed to leave. Heritage Oaks has become my PRISON. Avoid this trap. Stay away

The Cottages at Magnolia Manor on St. Simons island, Ga is very professionally managed by Mae . She and the staff truly care about my Mom's physical, mental and spiritual well being. Mom has made good friends there and is included in the community activities. The chapel services are a blessing too! It is the best assisted living place we have found for my Mom. We have found the residents and staff could not be more welcoming and informative. Also, the dinners have been remarkably great! Which was most exciting. Plus, there are lots of fun activities going on all the time. We are still just settling in, but we truly feel like we made the right decision choosing to stay here!!!

Its an affordable place to live for widowed, single or divorced mature women. You pay for your food. You get a room, electricity, garbage and cleaning for one price. You get to use the exercise facilities. Which consists of exercise classes, exercise machines and discounted massage. The Wellness center has an indoor pool, hottub, sauna and warm pool for exercises. The showers are cleaned daily and offer the use of a towel, hair dryer and shampoo. There are friends to meet and a tasty cafeteria food to enjoy. Its an all around great place to live.

My parents are here, in the independent living apartments. Very few complaints. Staff very nice albeit sometimes overworked. Food is usually pretty good. My folks dont care for the Southern style veggies that are served most of the time but they are in the South

My Mother lives at Magnolia Manor St. Simons Island and I am very happy with her care there. All my interaction with the nursing staff and the support staff has been very positive. They take very good care of Mom and I feel that all her needs are met. She is happy when I see her so I know she's well taken care of. I pop in at odd hours and I've never seen anything that I was concerned about.

This rating is based on customer service. I am a nurse navigator and in my experiences when my patients go to an ALF it has been very difficult reaching a clinician to discuss my patients. Some of the things I have experienced were no one answering the phone or returning phone calls or just being rude in general. My experience so far with Magnolia Manor has been the opposite. Each time I called, the staff was very professional and polite, I even called Magnolia Manor in St. Mary's by mistake and was met with the same courtesy. I really appreciate the professionalism. Again, this rating is based on my experience with customer service. I can not attest to anything else.

My mom and went to live at one in Buena Vista Ga.My Dad Clyde Jake Rigby had cancer.on January 13th I found out he was dying,they let us see him after hours.it was me, my daughter Terri ,her daughter Caylee my mom bro my uncle wayne his girlfriend Mary.he died Jan 14 2017 day after we seen him.they called me on feb 18th told me mom was heading hospital this was 2017 day after my birthday.they good to her.they keeping her active and safe Ty all for what yall doing taking care of my and Kevin Rigby mom Lavada Rigby.

I worked at Magnolia Manor Retirement Center in Americus for about 5 years. Since I left and moved away, Ive missed my job ever since. When I worked there, I felt like I was part of a family and I havent felt that way at any job Ive worked at since. There is truly something special about that place.
