I have been using First Light for a 1 1-2 years for my 80 year old mother who has Alzheimers-Dementia. There have been some really good and bad Caregivers along the way. We all want the best care for our loved ones. When I have found the care not to meet my expectations, I have called and let them know. There are very responsive and deal with the issues accordingly. I would definitely recommend First Light as I believe they have a very caring team.

The staff at FirstLight are amazing! They all go above and beyond the call of duty. You can rest assured you will have help when you need it. I would strongly recommend First Light Homecare if you are in need of caregiver support for your family member.My father was widowed suddenly last year, and in need of reliable, caring personal assistance in order to remain in his own home. Being 800 miles away from the rest of his family made our circumstances that much more challenging to negotiate. I cannot say enough for the staff, their attentiveness, and the personal attention they have given my family. They have gone above and beyond to help us make our situation work, and always with such kindness. Especially in these challenging times, being able to rely on the professionalism and consistency of the staff has given us peace of mind from so far away.From the first day we walked into the office, they have been so pleasant to interact with, and so accommodating to our changing needs. They are in touch with me with any changes to the schedule, communicating regularly with any issues or updates. They have taken him to his doctors appts, helped with grocery shopping, pharmacy pick ups, and I never worry that the staff wont be there, as they have been extremely reliable. The plan is working for us, in large part because the staff from First Light has helped to make it so.

After my husband had a stroke and was being released from the hospital we had a difficult time finding a skilled nursing facility to admit him due to COVID-19 and so I decided to bring him home. From the moment I contacted FirstLigtht they were compassionate and professional in assessing our situation. Immediately they provided help with organizing my home and making sure that everything was in place for his arrival. Upon arrival Mary Berg was there to tuck him in and make sure everything was ready. FirstLight provided 24-7 care with experienced and caring staff. I was able to sleep nights knowing that someone was watching over my husband and making him their top priority. I would highly recommend FirstLight to ANYONE needing a caregiver for their loved one.

FirstLight has been a huge blessing to me and my family. My father fell ill early this year and the last thing we wanted to do was be away from him due to COVID-19 restrictions. FirstLight has made it possible for us to provide the best care for him right in his own home. The staff are amazing and more than willing to assist with any issues that arise. We currently have aides that care for him like he is there own family member. I am forever grateful for their services.
