Looked at several places and Sheridan only place with a two bedroom and two car garage which was a must have for me. All the facilities are modern and well maintained, the dining room looks like it came from a nice cruise ship along with the other facilities. The service is excellent, along with the food and the numerous daily activities. The staff is very friendly and quickly address any maintenance issues (usually in the same day). Their motto is you are at a stage in your life where you have worked hard and its our job to have you relax and enjoy your stay here. I know I made the right decision to move here.

My father has lived at this community for over three years, and overall it has been a positive experience for our family. The facility is always clean, the food is good, and there are many activities offered for residents. Since my dad’s move to memory care, we’ve been especially grateful for the attentive, hands-on care team. They are engaged, patient, and clearly invested in the residents, which has brought our family a lot of peace of mind. I also want to recognize the front desk and office staff, who are consistently kind, responsive, and helpful. Navigating elder care can be challenging, and their support makes a real difference. We’re thankful to have our dad in a community where he is safe and cared for!

This move has been like changing for my mom and my family. My mom did not want to leave her house but it had become unsafe for her to be alone there. She actually adapted much better than we anticipated and has flourished since being there and having the social interactions. The staff asked us not to visit for a few days to allow her to settle in and become comfortable with the staff and schedule. While it was difficult for our family to do this. It actually was necessary with my mom, otherwise she would have just kept asking to go home and we would have all had more guilt about moving her. My family has peace of mind, knowing she is safe!

I am so happy I am at the Sheridan. It feels like home and the residents feel like family. The staff is outstanding. There was no high pressure during the sales process and Julia and Renee continue to be open and friendly, any questions or concerns are addressed promptly. The amount of activities is amazing. The 3 activity staff members, Karlie, Nina and Aleyah, do a phenomenal job. I couldn't ask for a better place to feel safe and content in my senior years.

We are very happy that we made the decision to move to the Sheridan at Eastside in Snellville. We have a three bedroom two bath two car garage villa. Although we had to do a considerable amount of downsizing we still have a small home. We have a yard for our little dog. They want you to feel comfortable and at home here. We were able to put up a picket fence for our dog. I have space for my flower garden. We have made a lot of new friends. It’s a very caring community. There are activities and entertainment. My husband especially is pleased with the Parkinson’s support group. The staff is responsive to our needs and requests. The food is good. We have monthly meetings that the staff conducts so we can voice our concerns and questions. I am pleased that l don’t plan meals or cook. Our villa is cleaned and the sheets changed twice a month. The grounds are beautifully maintained all year. If there’s a problem I put in a work order and it’s taken care of by maintenance. I have only praise for the Sheridan It’s a great place to live.

The Sheridan at Eastside is a welcomed community for our parents. The food is wonderful and the facility ihas wonderful appointments. Staff are very helpful and accommodations spacious and comfortable. We just wish they had more assistance for family concerning outside medical appointments for care coordination as this is extremely difficult and disconnected. They need a social worker on staff. Outside vendors are not doing this well. This extremely difficult chore falls on families.

I moved my parents about 2 months ago from their assisted living facility in Chicago, to the Sheridan at Eastside to be closer to me. I visited about 9 locations prior to making my selection. I visited the Sheridan 3 times before making my final selection. The short story: My parents are very happy here. They made friends on day 1 with a group of people and have been going strong since. They have also been very happy with the care team from house keeping, to the CNAs and the MedTechs. They havent had a complaint about any of them. I'm there several times a week and have met almost all of the staff and they have been professional, caring and empathetic. T've learned over time to look past the beautiful amenities (which are a great plus), the most important is the level and quality of the care plan and the care staff and so far, we have been happy. The beautiful amenities below are icing on the cake. The apartments are clean, modern and well sized. They are unique with 10-11 ft ceilings with enormous windows. The amount of natural light is very impressive and much better than any place I visited. Its had a very positive effect on my parents. As they have aged and touches of dementia, etc. I've found that natural light, views, etc can have a strong impact on their overall moods. The food is very good with 2 specials every evening and a decent "every day" selection. The selection is good and what they do, they do well. Visit the restaurants during meal time. Its important. You will find it lively and social. A very different atmosphere from other places I've been to where people just ate in silence and stared when someone walked in. Meals here are very uplifting and social and this was ultimately one of the things that finalized our decision. Lots of activities. A salon and gym on site and shuttles to local shopping. The administrative staff has always been great to work with as well. Helping us with billing for our insurance company and providing a resources as we search for new specialists. Communications is good and prompt. We used Fox Therapy at their previous facility (for my mom's stroke recovery and my father's Parkinsons treatment) with amazing results. Fox also has an office here at the Sheridan and we continued with that. They provide both my parents physical, occupational and speech therapy and have been top notch. Another huge selling point: Piedmont hospital is about 200 yards away. While we have not had to use it yet, its comforting to know its so close enough that if/when one goes into the hospital, I can visit them in both facilities. It also means there are a variety of specialists in the adjoining professional buildings (dentists, neurology, etc) We are still learning our way. Is it flawless? No, no place is perfect but any hiccups havent been worth mentioning and always worked out as the staff is eager to help. Mom and Dad are happy here and have not doubted our decision so far.

My parents moved to Independent living 3 yrs ago and have had a great experience. Recently, we experienced the death of my father. After seeing the neighbors surround my mom with love and support, I felt very comfortable to relocate her to the memory care neighborhood. So glad I did! Two days in her new environment, she is thriving and well taken care of! She loves it there and I am comfortable with the care she is receiving. When looking for Independent Living with a Tri-Care community The Sheridan at Eastside checked all of our boxes swimming pool, activities, great food, washer and dryer in apartments, full kitchen with new Appliances and transportation to doctors and shopping areas. The high ceilings and garden apartment sealed the deal.

This is an elegantly designed facility. It's one of the newest in the area that was our target point. There's several wonderful things I can say about the staff and willingness to help with my love ones. Our sales professional was Julia Westover. She's a loving and thorough communicator. Our love one is in memory care and her husband will be joining her shortly. My MNL was moved in last week with haste, but it was on our end, but only 2 days early. The staff tried their very best to accommodate us with the fast turn around. They had several move-in's for the March 31st special. I completely understand and can be sympathetic to that to a degree. They need to fill their rooms since Covid caused chaos. The only constructive criticism, I would like to share is there is a major breakdown in department communication. The left hand doesn't have a clue as to what the right hand is needing or doing. It has been rather frustrating on my family. As most know it's emotionally taxing to make such a move for your love ones. I'm hoping that once everyone has some time to get there cordination part squared away. It will be 5 stars and I certainly will edit my review. My advice to any potential movers. Please ask several questions and make certain everything is in writing. Request a department directory and have names, numbers and emails. It's okay to ask the same question a couple times to verify because we experienced some verbal discrepancies on Sheridan's part that caused unexpected stress on the family, but thankfully Julia was able to clear up our concerns. We are looking forward to wonderful memories here on out.

Dear Mr. Jackson, I just wanted to tell you what a pleasure it has been to work with Misty Page. She has been very thorough in her completion of her required tasks and responsive to our needs. My mother is not an easy person to deal with. (That's putting it mildly.) Yesterday when we were coming into our red carpet greeting, my mother had refused to put on a mask. "I'm not going to wear that thing." When Misty was given the mask for mom, my husband whispered to her, "Good luck with that." So instead of telling mom, "You have to wear this," or "It's a requirement.", Misty simply said, "We have a gift for you." Mom took it without a fuss! Who can turn down a gift! Very smart! I don't know if it's training or just overall intelligence, but she handled the situation very well. When we got to the room, Misty immediately took care of mom's needs, getting her a chair and ordering her lunch. We really appreciate everything that she (and everyone else at The Sheridan) did to make the difficult move much more pleasant. Thank you.

My parents moved from another state, into the Sheridan at Eastside in December 2019. They both immediately felt welcomed and have been cared for by an amazing staff. My mom often remarks,"everyone who works here is so nice and friendly!" They both lived in a beautiful & spacious two bedroom apartment in the independent living section. In June of 2020, unfortunately my dad passed away from complications of Parkinson's disease and since then, my mom has moved to the Assisted Living area at the Sheridan. Due to the two programs being in the same building her move was very easy and she has adjusted well and already knew the staff. My mom receives extra special attention and individual care in Assisted Living. During my Dad's illness the staff continually expressed compassion and helped us numerous times with getting connected with necessary medical resources that came to the Sheridan. Over the past several months the staff have become like family. They go above and beyond in showing kindness and consideration to all the residents and their families. One thing I have noticed is that the staff at the Sheridan know all of the residents names and are always respectful when helping each resident. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful, the times I have eaten at the Sheridan I felt like I was in a five star restaurant. The Sheridan has a variety of activities to meet the interests of all of their residents. My mom enjoys participating in the art activities. Some of the residents have planted a beautiful garden with fruits, vegetables and flowers. And, there is an amazing outdoor pool and putting green. I highly recommend the Sheridan at Eastside!
