My mom picked out a wonderful safe Haven for my 98 year old grandma.everyone there is so nice to her and are very nice to us.the staff members are wonderful caring people that make you feel right at home.But first and foremost thank you so much for taking great care of my nana as she is my bright and shinning star and is the heart beat of our family.

OMGOODNESS the BESTest place ever! Mom has been in 2 other facilities since 2016. The first one she stayed at for 5 Up and Down years of service. She escaped twice and I won't even mention the rest. Needless to say, they shut down… with little notice. The second place, I thought she was IT! Not even a year later…Chaos! Resident care seem to be lacking as well as the bldg… then mom fell…from losing her "balance" turning around. ” Not on my watch! Got mom OUTTA there. From Conyers to Johns Creek to RIGHT UP THE STEET! TEN minutes away What a God Send…Oaks at Snellville is SO WONDERFUL. Smooth Sailing since we've been here. Everyone is on it. They are informative on every level. The Monthly Calendar ” The STAFF The Chef/Food The Activities/Outings The communication is on point. Moms daily nurses– The financial Did I mention the Security of the place? The Director, Natasha, as stressful as it is to hold a place together… she's got it in the bag, for YEARS! Dealing with Dementia is hard enough to COPE. BUT, Coming here to Oaks has been a great RELIEF and a wonderful present from God. Im so happy to have found this place and HE made it possible for us to be here. I ask mom often, if she's happy there or if she wanted to leave…This is Mom's HOME. She has not ever said she wanted to leave. Honestly speaking… neither do I. BRAVO, Oaks at Snellville… ENCORE! ENCORE!

My mother has now been at Eastside Gardens for a little over a year. The staff is very nice to her and she enjoys all the activities they plan for the residents, especially Bingo. Additionally, the weekly Salon Day is something my mother looks forward to each week. They have done a great job during the pandemic and not one resident has tested positive for Covid. We are very thankful. I highly recommend Eastside Gardens if you need a place for your loved one(a).

I worked at Eastside Gardens for 15 1, 2 years and am now retired. I know you can find assisted living communities that are very beautiful but you could never find a community that will take better care of your loved one as Eastside does. When caring for residents with special needs the staff really does care. Take time to see for yourself what a great little place Eastside is and what they have to offer the other places do not.

My dad has been at Eastside Gardens for a couple of years and we couldnt be happier. The staff takes great care of the residents and my dad is always talking about how they are so friendly and nice and just good people. They have a ton of activities and a well-kept facility. They do a good job of communicating with family members about our loved ones and I SO appreciate how careful they have been during COVID-19 to keep the infections out of the community. It has meant restricted visiting time to see my dad but its worth it to keep him and his fellow residents safe!

Eastside Gardens has kind and caring staff! They are responsive and have worked hard to see that my mothers needs are met and that she find her place among the residents and that she make friends. Katie and Maggie have gone out of their way to see that Mom is comfortable. Mom loves the food and speaks highly of her choices. While we cannot see Mom because of Covid, they are putting Sunshine Visits in place that allow us to have time out on the front porch rocking chairs while wearing masks and social distancing. These visits have helped Mom tremendously!

Eastside Gardens has been a wonderful gift to our family. Johnnie and the care givers are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The transition for my loved one was handled in a sensitive manner. Katie has worked hard to put wonderful social events into place, and Maggie is always quick with a response to a question. Vanessa is terrific in helping to make sure that my mothers medical needs are met. Even now with Covid, the staff is so protective of their residents--and with no outbreaks, those measures are greatly appreciated. I am thankful my mother has such a caring support system surrounding her.

I believe this is the second review that I have ever done online, but I think that I have to share how I feel about the work that the staff and leadership at Eastside Gardens Assisted Living have done during CoVid 19. Eastside Gardens has gotten four months into the spread of the virus and still has not had a single resident or staff member infected! My father is 96 years old and definitely is at risk of death from this virus. I am extremely thankful for all the hard work, hard decisions and difficult planning that it has taken day in and day out to safeguard my dad and all the residents at Eastside! Every time I read how the virus has spread and the danger it poses to the elderly, I am thankful that my dad is at Eastside Gardens! Thank you Eastside Gardens!!!

I have had the privilege to visit with the residents at Eastside Gardens and it is truly a wonderful place. The staff is amazing and loving. My first encounter was with the activities director Katie Mitchell and she truly cares for the residents. She makes sure they have a productive, mentally stimulating, informative and fun day! My next encounter was with Johnnie Cheney the director. She is so dynamic and truly cares for the residents. I listened as she sought out a specific need for a resident to make sure that the resident had someone to communicate with due to the fact that she speaks another language. Going above and beyond is what truly impressed Me!

I have visited Eastside Gardens on 3 separate occasions. Each time, I felt more and more that my mother would be welcomed and at home here. The Executive Director, Johnnie Cheney has the Southern charm and warm personality you should demand from your loved ones caregivers. Unfortunately, I waited too long and was unable to move my mother in. They did not have a vacancy when I wanted to move my mother. Eastside Gardens has restored my faith in assisted living facilities, as I had a negative experience at one of their local competitors.

I have been working at Eastside Garden for three years. The facility looks beautiful. The staff are well trained and very caring towards the residents. They treat everyone like family!!! The activity coordinator is fabulous. The dinning is amazing!!! Home away from Home!! I highly recommend this place!!!

I cant say enough great things about Eastside Gardens! They have been so helpful from the very beginning of my journey on finding a new home for my mother. They set up a meeting to have someone walk me through the steps of getting her approved for VA benefits. I could not have done it without them. What a blessing to know I can relax knowing she is in good hands.

I can not begin to tell you folks how happy my sister and I are, about the care that Eastside Gardens and their staff give to my 95 year old father. He had an unfortunate fall on his 95th birthday, and spent 6 weeks in the hospital and then a rehab center, and he was miserable. We found Eastside Gardens in an excellent location, and the first person we met was the Executive Director, Johnnie Cheney. She was very helpful, caring, and amazingly professional. My sister and I were amazed at the caring attitude of the whole staff! Dad was evaluated and it was decided that he would go to their Bridge to Rediscovery. Wow, so pleasant and just like being at home. My dad feels so comfortable, and the staff, man, the staff is the best I have ever seen. From the great Chief John, to the wonderful care givers Brittany and all, it is a real treat to go visit dad, and feel so much love and caring, and a very relaxing feeling. I have to mention that four years ago, I went through 4 months of rehab centers, assisted living, and memory care for my mother, who was 90, and I sure wish I had found Eastside Gardens for her.

Eastside Gardens is a wonderful place and the team there is excellent! If you are in need of a place for someone you love, let this be the place you choose for that loved one! The staff took their time to get to know our mom and what made her happy, they were there for her and our family for the three years she was fortunate enough to have it as her home. Everyone went above and beyond to take care of our mother. We Love the people at Eastside Gardens, they have become part of our family!
