My girlfriend's grandmother has been here for around 6 months now. We are all very impressed by the facilities and the friendly staff. She is in the memory unit, which seems to be top notch.

Even though my dad is in a wheelchair; his quality of life is so much better at Cedarhurst compared to the assisted living facility he was in previously before he was told that he needed extra levels of care. He is living life again and we are all pleased.

Sarah in the pharmacy was amazing. We didn’t get there until minutes before pharmacy closed and she worked to help us leave the store with the insulin we needed. Thank you Sarah, it would be such a better world if everyone had your work ethic.

Tracey Small and the staff at The Waterford at Oakwood were very helpful in helping me find a place for Mr B who has served our country proudly in our military! The Waterford at Oakwood has GREAT service and a GREAT staff. You will not be disappointed. Thank you all at The Waterford at Oakwood for all of your help and guidance. Youre The BEST!

The Waterford at Oakwood is a very warm, vibrant and welcoming Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. The Community is a ranch style on a cul-de-sac with both A-L and M-C apartments. The residents are happy, engaged and thriving, the staff are compassionate and caring, and the management team are always very friendly and available. The overall vibe of this Community is very positive and upbeat with sense of home. If you havent visited the Waterford at Oakwood, stop by and let us show you what we are all about.

My mother has lived in the memory care unit at The Waterford at Oakwood for over two years now. As a retired nurse practitioner, it was very difficult trusting someone else to provide daily care for her. This loving, caring community is our family now. The care she receives is attentive, observant, nuturing, communicative as well as knowledgable with decision making skills. Oh yes and her room is a pretty, comfrtable hang out.

We moved my dad into The Waterford at Oakwood in October 2018 with assistance from Tracey Small. We havent regretted our decision in the least. The experienced staff ensures that my dad is taken care of with the most respect and care one could ask for in a memory care environment. The New Community Director, Kathleen Pantaleo, is bringing new energy and ideas to the community that I am sure will only equal an even better environment for all of the residents!

Love, love, love my position at the Waterford at Oakwood! There is nothing more heartwarming and satisfying than helping others and their families! And, I get sweet love from so many wonderful residents each day! Who wouldn't want to wake up to that every morning! Waterford is an awesome community that is comforting, cozy, full of fun activities, and love from everyone. Come see for yourself!

My dad lived alone about 3 hours away after my mom passed in 2013. We knew the time would come, and, it did August 2018. The independence and freedom may not be what we all had, but it is very good thanks to the involvement of The Waterford folks. Tracey Small, in particular, made this the right move. The staff in almost every instance has been caring and wonderful. New Executive Director, Kathleen Pantaleo, is taking management to higher levels and we're still happy and excited with how well my dad is being cared for.

My Mom and Dad both have Alzheimers and in 2019 we had to move both of them into the Waterford @ Oakwood. All of the staff are soooo amazing! You can tell that they really care about the people that they take care of. All of the front offices staff are so accommodating and cheerful, from Sally who answers the phones ....... among lots of other tasks, to Tracey who gives a warm, cheerful welcome to families touring the facility ..... to those just arriving to move in..... to families who have their loved ones there ..... along with many, many other tasks. All of the other staff, office and nurses even though they are so busy, always have plenty of time to answer questions and help family members and their loved ones. The facility is well maintained and smells good (not like a nursing facility) .... nice homey atmosphere! The garden areas are beautiful with rocking chairs and has a large front porch with a row of rocking chairs where residents and family can sit enjoying fellowship and the sunny weather. We toured many other facilities in the area and this was the best! We brought our Thanksgiving dinner down and had the private dining room reserved and thoroughly enjoyed our meal with Mom and Dad! The best Assisted Living facility / Memory Care facility in Georgia!

They do a great job of caring for their residents. They are a big help with my mother who can be a handful.

My mom has been at The Waterford at Oakwood for a little more than 2 months now and we can't be more pleased. She is well cared for, the food is good with many options, the entire facility is clean, orderly and constantly maintained. Everyone there is so friendly and caring. They have many fun events and go the extra mile to keep everyone engaged. Most importantly mom is happy!

My mom moved into Waterford at Oakwood in April of this year (2017). Certainly a new chapter in her life and mine. It has been a little overwhelming at times but everyone has been very understanding and supportive, especially the Director of the facility. She has been quick to listen and slow to speak as my mom and I have made the adjustment. My mom is very comfortable in her room and she enjoys all the activities.

Heard it was a great place.
