Great loving staff. Could not have picked a better place for my 93 year old mother. Price was much better than the other Assisted Living facilities.

Our family chose The Oaks Assisted Living for our mothers new home for many reasons. The dining room and activity areas were just the right size for our mother. They have a comfortable and cozy feeling to them, like being in someone's family home. Our moms apartment was so pretty with fresh paint and new flooring, and the maintenance team helped us with all of our move-in needs. The halls are easy to navigate and the front porch with rocking chairs are a perfect spot on a winter afternoon. The residents are also so kind and friendly. What impressed us the most was the caring Oaks team. Our mom dealt with some health issues early on, and the nurses, attendants, and office staff helped guide us through it all. Our entire family felt loved and cared for. Many thanks to everyone that welcomed us and our mom to her new home. We will be forever grateful.

My mother has been at The Oaks at Peake for little over a year now. I think it has been a positive experience for her. She enjoys the variety of meals, and there are many activities daily and weekly for residents to participate in if they choose.

I would like to thank everyone at The Oaks, from the bottom of my heart, for providing such a wonderful and caring home for our sweet mom. The moment we arrived, our mom was greeted with smiles from the staff and residents. As the days passed, the smiles and attention continued in the most heartfelt way. Our mom immediately felt as though she was a part of The Oaks family. We did, too! A new dining hall can be an intimidating experience for a newcomer; Rhonda took our mom under her wing even with us there, and made the experience absolutely wonderful for her. Each resident stopped by our mom's table, introduced themselves and indicated they would stop by our mom's apartment and say hello again, which they all did. The effort to include our mom was incredible. I believe what astounded and pleased me the most was that nearly every hour, a staff member knocked on our mom's door to see if she needed anything from them. The staff never knew if one of us would be there or if our mom was alone for a period of time. The feeling of security into the future this gave us was tremendous. I know of no other place that would offer such attention to a loved one. I have related our Oaks experience with so many friends. I would joyfully explain that I felt our mom was at a very sweet, pretty residence that reminded me of one that might be part of a story line on a Hallmark movie. The feel at The Oaks is loving and inclusive, with a level of care and attention tailored to meet the needs of each residence in the most loving way. All my love to The Oaks staff.
