The food isn't gourmet as we were told. A resident asked for more soup and was told no but if they gave seconds, there would be a charge. Shame on you Oaks at Lake Wildwood. These residents pay good money to live there. Give them better choices without having to eat the same thing every day off of the alternative menu. People are diabetic there and you don't cater to a healthy food choice. Stop giving out so much candy and sweets to these people. Poor food service. Get someone in there to give these people a nutritious home cooked meals not something frozen or out of a can. The staff there is great but they don't make decisions in the kitchen. I hate giving one star. These residents aren't allowed to have a stove to cook for themselves so let them have seconds if they want to. Don't bully these older people. My mom always said, you're going to get old some day,if the good Lord's willing. I'm directing this to the person(s) in charge. Fix this...

Best Assisted living facility in Middle Georgia. Staff are sooo - Caregiving - and always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make a difference. My Mother in law would have been here had she lived long enough after her stroke.

I visited Morning of Macon for my church members. I met with the Director. She told me she has been at the community for almost 7 years. I loved the community. I met several residents who told me they have lived at Morningside for over 5 years. Mitzy the Director showed me a beautiful upgraded apartment. I loved the look of it. Beautiful design and upgraded features. I witnessed several fun activities when I was there. I highly recommend Morningside of Macon to my church members and to the Macon Community.

My Mama has lived at Morningside for 3 years. It’s nice and welcoming and has a choice of room sizes and styles. Morningside has two wonderful chefs that prepare very tasty and nutritional meals. Their tables are covered in cloth tablecloths ALWAYS decorated beautifully. Morningside also has an activity director that provides engaging games and activities. There’s a Nurse on staff during the daytime but not at night unless needed. The director is awesome and keeps everything running smoothly. If you want a home away from home this is YOUR place. Very satisfied.
