After visiting multiple places, we decided to move my grandmother to Ashwood Meadows. She was reluctant to leave her home at first, but she has come to love this place. Everyone is super friendly. The staff is caring and helpful, especially Lisa Jackson! They genuinely try to make this a home for all residents. If you are looking for a place, search no more, I strongly recommend Ashwood Meadows!

I placed a family member here one month ago. We were impressed with the facility, staff, caretakers, programs, amenities and the residents. Lisa Jackson, in particular, was instrumental in helping us make this decision. Of all of the great things I could say about Ashwood, my favorite is how much I like to be there late at night. The quiet is so peaceful. Sometime after visting my family member I'll take a moment to sit in the stillness and relax. When my time comes, this is the kind of place I'd like to be.

It is comforting to know that my dad is in a safe place. The staff is wonderful he's made lots of friends. He goes on most of the outings each week. They have all types of activities daily that keeps him active from beanbag baseball , to drumming, to tai chi to name a few. They have a pool table and a movie theater also.

My mother just moved in about a week ago and was so impressed with how everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I first spoke with Lisa and I can't speak highly enough about her!! Lisa went out of her way to accommodate us since my mom lived out of state. We had our mom on video call on our tour and she was awesome at inviting mom in the conversation and making her feel included. Lisa is definitely one of the reasons this place is number one!!The day of move we met Andrera and she is so professional and just a lovely individual. She is so busy but still took the time to make sure we had everything and made our mom feel extremely welcomed to there community. I wish I had all the staff members names that I had the pleasure of meeting and I was so impressed with each and everyone. Thank you to everyone and I appreciate everything you all do.

My mother just moved into Ashwood Meadows. It is a wonderful facility located in Johns Creek (#1 City to live, according to U.S. News & World Report). The facility has wonderful programming team, led by Victoria, with a friendly staff to support the residents. The menu has a great variety with good quality and is produced by an experienced staff. Lisa and the team (Andrea/William) were absolutely wonderful during the sign up and move in process. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and my mother is very happy with her decision.

Wonderful senior community ! The dining experience and chef prepared meals are the best ever ! I have volunteered most of the summer for my Eagle Scout and the one thing I can say is that these residents are happy, they laugh they go out to all kind of places and come back home and still play cards and dominoes or just sit out back and read a book . they’re happy.. it is heartwarming

Love it here’• retirement living that meets almost all needs whether your kids are gone and you don’t need the big house anymore or you’ve been injured and you’d like to get three included a day breakfast dinner, and supper included in the price of a beautiful apartment in this attractive neighborhood. Has a gym, and also a beauty shop along with a huge dining hall where almost everyone eat their three meals, a day and visits with their friends. It’s a little pricey, but the staff is wonderful. Managers look after your every need and you can even take the bus driver, who works for Ashwood Meadows shopping to the grocery stores Dr. visits and anywhere you may need to go near John’s Creek. You might consider it if you’re looking to downsize to a quite nice place. Excellent security and well kept up. includes housekeeping.

I got my mother set up here in November 2022. The staff here is absolutely amazing. The facility is so clean and beautiful and there is more activities available than you can count. I feel very good about my mom being here, it's safe and you can rely on the staff for help. My mom has been in a wheelchair for 20 years and requires more assistance than the normal resident, but in her short time here, they have already helped her several times. I love this place.

I loved Ashwood Meadows. I was treated with kindness and respect. Karen and John managers helped me getting to know other residents. Once I fell and they made sure I was comfortable until paramedics arrived. I never wanted to leave but my budget was moving me along. I wish they had some apts subsidized for seniors and I would have stayed the rest of my life. I’m 80 and I’m living longer than my income. Felix the maintenance man was wonderful and went out of the way to make sure I was satisfied and then some. The servers at meals were gracious and housekeepers perfect. Best of all I was proud to have friends and family visit. If you are looking for a wonderful home check out Ashwood Meadows. They are a part of Hawthorn Communites and in several states and communities. Oh yes they have all kinds of activities, outings, take to dr appts and shopping. You will love it. I love living at Ashwood Meadows. The people are so friendly and helpful. I also enjoy feeling so safe here. I appreciate the bus taking me shopping and to my doctor appointments, also can go to geat clips for a haircut. I love our activities director she keeps us busy and active. My apartment on the second floor is in a very good location for me close to library and dining room.

So far (a few days in) I am grateful and impressed by both the staff and the residents. I also feel that my mom is in a safe place! Ashwood is an AMAZING place! All of the staff are caring individuals. My brother moved in when they opened and we have never had a bad experience. I was so impressed with how they handled the Covid outbreak, they were proactive in making sure all were safe and well. They keep everyone busy (if they choose to be) with activities and the convenience of having the bus is stellar. I highly recommend!!

They are taking excellent care of us during this pandemic keeping us safe and healthy. Staff is friendly and helpful and there when you need them. I can’t think of a thing to complain about. It is a retirement apartment complex, not a facility for the elderly, and as such, they have fewer state regulations, I am told. That's fine for older people who are still young enough to enjoy living in the Johns Creek area. This would not be a good place for someone with Sundowners Syndrome, for example, or someone who needs a lot of assistance. It's close to the hospital and shopping, and you can walk to sandwich shops. The place is pretty and there are some pretty, spacious and sunny apartments downstairs that seem much newer. There are also some horribly old looking apartments upstairs with only a small heat pump in the living area and no form of heat or A/C in the bedroom. The bathroom just has one of those 'french fry' infrared lights to warm it. My mom has lived in both apartments, enduring the tiny, cold one for two years before a pleasant downstairs one opened up. In wintertime, they keep the thermostat at 68 in the common areas. Meals are served in courses, and take two hours each. My mom says the people are hungry and get snappy with each other while waiting for the next course. She said it is a training facility, so managers and employees come and go frequently, and rules change frequently. Snacks and some activities have been removed, and the radius of bus trips has been made smaller. There is a problem with the fire alarm erroneously going off frequently. It has been doing this for three years. Although it cost a lot to move in, including a $1,000 pet fee, the constant fire alarm problems drove my mom, who is a heart patient, to find someplace more peaceful.
