I am 100% thrilled that I trusted Kelly and my gut and moved my loving parents into Additon Place. This facility is so unique, unlike any other I have seen. Addington Place is The Place for Senior Living They exude hospitality, warmth, and TLC for your loved one. It is never an easy choice to have your parent, spouse or friend be at a point where they have to go to one of those places. Addington Place is not that. And it’s certainly NOT an old age home. It is a true community. You can go out and find other senior living environments that are far more expensive that may or may not necessarily deliver. And there’s far worse for sure. Addington Place is just right. It’s clean. It’s professional. The staff from the executive, medical, activities, and food services all deliver on customer service for the residents and families alike. They openly welcome suggestions and feedback. I moved my mom there recently following a very unpleasant experience at another local, very large senior living facility. What a wonderful difference Addington Place has made for my mom in such a short time. The staff is so kind and attentive. Literally every person that works there is so welcoming and seems to really like what they do. Thomas and Kelley are so accessible for the residents, and Alberto did a great job getting my mother involved in meeting other residents. There is a lovely family vibe, the residents all seem so happy and well cared-for. They have made my mom's and my life easier! My mother is back to her old self, being more social and interested and energetic. I couldn't ask for any better!

I can’t say enough about this place! Kelley was amazing and added her own personal touch that made my parents and I feel right at home when we first walked into the building. We recently moved our mom to this facility and we are so happy with it! It’s clean, bright and happy and the staff are top notch. We are very grateful to have found such a lovely home for mom. The team was wonderful helping us with a long distance move and coordinating her care with her previous assisted living facility. They made a very stressful situation much better!

My mother was recently hospitalized after complications from a spinal procedure. Unable to return home, the hospital discharged her to a so-called skilled nursing facility" that was horrifying beyond description. The conditions were so dreadful, that I brought her home out of concern for her safety. I knew she couldn’t stay home alone just yet, but I live several states away, and I couldn’t stay with her indefinitely. I was at a loss as to what to do. Thankfully, my aunt remembered that a friend of hers had been a resident at Addington Place of Johns Creek and suggested that I reach out to them. It was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, so I wasn’t hopeful, but I was getting desperate, so I called. I was relieved when not only did they answer, they invited us over to check out their facility, and even offered to come to my mother’s home to assess her care needs. We were immediately at ease when we met with Thomas, one of the directors at Addington Place. He showed us where my mother would be staying and gave us a tour of the facility. We agreed that this place would work well for my mother, and I was beyond relieved to have found a safe and comfortable place for her to regain her strength and independence. What I wasn’t counting on was how my mother would be so warmly welcomed when I moved her in two nights later. The activities director (shoutout to Alberto!) greeted us at the door to let us know they were expecting us. He helped me move Mom’s things in and get her set up and acclimated in her new apartment, which was beautifully decorated with several thoughtful touches. The nurse, Fatuma, knelt beside my mom and reassured her that she was family now and that she would love it there. It broke my heart to leave my mom, but knowing she was being so well cared for made all the difference in the world. My mother spent two weeks in respite care at Addington Place. During that time, she came to know and love the staff (especially Bella!), who took such good care of her and made sure that all of her needs were met. Additionally, she received excellent physical and occupational therapy from Fox Therapy during her stay, which has gone a long way in facilitating her recovery process. My mother had been extremely hesitant to go to Addington Place, so I was surprised to find she was almost as reluctant to leave at the end of her two-week stay! The wonderful staff at Addington had given my mother exactly what she needed during her convalescence: a safe and loving, homelike environment where she had the care and assistance she needed so she could concentrate on regaining her strength and independence. I am eternally grateful to the staff at Addington Place for everything they have done for our family. My mom is doing well in her recovery, but I know that if and when the time comes, she has a family at Addington Place who will welcome her back with open arms.

While no place is perfect, Addington Place of Johns Creek comes close. The residents are safe, well cared for and most of all loved by the staff. It's all about the incredible staff, many who have been there for a long time. They genuinely love and care for the residents and create such a wonderful and fun environment. My mom was there for four years and recently passed, but we were both so pleased while she was there. Can't say enough good things!

My MIL has been at Addington Place of Johns Creek since March 2024. At first we were concerned as in her words, "I am not a joiner." She has always been her own person and never got too involved in things. WELL, since moving to Addington Place that has changed! She now participates in the exercise class offered every single day and actually looks forward to it. She has made new friends and is happy in her new surroundings. The staff is super friendly and we are happy to have her in such a warm and friendly place so close to us! Kudos to Addington Place of JC and to the staff for welcoming my sweet MIL!

Addington Place of Johns Creek is truly the Best!! I honestly did not know what to do with my mother-in-law and had no where to turn! Once we found Addington Place they were so kind with her and us for that matter. It truly made all the difference. Anyone going through this process knows how chanllenging it is on the family and the loved one. They Embraced our family member as if they she was one of their own, and the staff is excellent, patient and kind. The facility is Beautiful, clean and Updated. We were so worried that she would not go in and thought it would be a nightmare and it couldn't have been better! Not only was she pleased to see her apartment she loves it not to mention all the activities they have to offer on a daily basis has given her meaning to her life This has truly been life changing for all! I sincerely recommend the place to anyone in need, you will not be disappointed.

Moving a loved one into an assisted living facility is never easy, but the staff at Addington Place made the transition as easy as it could be for my aunt. Everyone there knows her name and has welcomed her so well, and been patient as she is adjusted to living in a new place. She has friends and family visit often, and we are all glad that we chose Addington!

Addington Johns Creek was not a good fit for my Dad and we decided to move on after 2 months in this facility. Although the staff appeared to care, they failed to implement the care plan we discussed and relied on EMTs and the hospital as part of THEIR management plan. EMTs were called 3 times in 7 - 10 day period. This eventually lead to overdose by them, a near death coma for 4 days, and hospitalization for 30 days. Another concern noted is that the ED called the family in concern of money but never took the time to call and check on Dads condition . In ending he is not the same person before being placed in Addington John Creek. Furthermore, don’t be fooled by the aesthetics, his jewelry and wallet were stolen too.

My husband is in assisted living at Addington’s Place John’s Creek and I love it. It is very clean and the staff is amazing. I find it to be very caring. It truly has been a home away from home for my husband. When comparing prices it’s a great price. It’s smaller than some but that lends it toward being homey and not an institutional feel.

Management changes in the last several months have not been beneficial. On several occasions I’ve been unable to reach a nurse or care giver in the evening hours. Even when I’m on-site and able to roam the halls I’m unable to find a caregiver and that is inexcusable. I’ve reported this to Pepper (Facility Director) and the issue persists which tells me that she is either not following up or doesn’t take the issue seriously. During the day all is fine, but when the lights go out so too does the care. Really unfortunate as the daylight nursing and care staff have been exceptional and seem to genuinely care about my mom and the other residents.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the facility the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facility is extremely clean and has So many activities for the seniors I love it great experience!!

Addington place of johns creek is now a breath of fresh air. My mother in law had been at the community for over 8 years and there has been a ton of management changes but the new team of management( Peppur, Hakim, Alberto and Priscilla) are exceptional. Mom can’t stop talking about how awesome the team is. They have implemented new and exciting activities for the residents and their families. The house dog is just phenomenal, Sadie is warming and very friendly. The community is now family-oriented and the team are really involved. I can’t wait to see what they planned!!!!

While looking for assisted living for mom, I came across Addington Place of Johns Creek. The place is light and airy and very very clean. The staff are extremely warm, friendly and very knowledgeable and highly skilled. They make you feel like one big happy family. Great nursing and caregivers for assisted living and memory care. Top notch! This place has great activities and entertainment. Superb hair salon and nail service. A great new Chef with an exceptional culinary background that makes nutritious and delicious meals. So if you’re looking for assisted living or memory care, look no further. I highly recommend Addington Place of Johns Creek- you are HOME!

CONS. The caregivers are friendly and awesome. Residents are happy and content, Great clean environment. PROS. However for agency caregivers be warned, !! Your shift will be cancelled a few minutes before the shift or when you are on the shift. I drove 1 and a half hours to Addington place of Johns creek to be their care hero for the day and provide care to their residents on a 7 AM to 7 PM shift per the facilities request on agency post because they were short staffed. I had to wake up at 4.30 am get my kids up and drop them to a private sitter for the day as planned, as I am a single mother, in order get on the road in the rain before GA traffic. I made it there 15 min before my time 7am and was actually the first employee to report on the shift before even facility employees. started my shift and other employee came in who was awesome and we served breakfast to residents together starting the day well. About an hour into the shift,@ 8.30 am the DON came in the memory care where I was working and stated I needed to go home as they have enough staff for the day! Just like that, no consideration of one life, input , time, inconvenience and besides loosing my 12 hours and projected pay for the day to pay my baby sitter. Additionally since I was booked by their facility it meant I lost the day of work and could not pick anywhere else. please note the DON was unapologetic about it and did not want to here any of my side as she stated she understand how agency work and they can cancel any time and will only pay 4 hrs. out of 12 hrs which is not right,but they won't need my help for the day. This was shocking too early to comprehend for me the whys??? This made me rethink working for them again. Infact i had stepped up and worked in the facility over 24th ans 25th Christmas eve and day and worked to cover for the need of care . It dawned on me how mean and inhuman someone can be just 4 days later into the new year and forgot I helped on Xmass. Now here I was been dismissed and sent home like a useless piece of unworthy helper with no apology or sense of compassion. This made me wonder how many of us hardworking caring compassionate agency caregiver heroes who go to facilities to help staff the floor when short and are turned back after driving for miles. This decision making was not thought through. There are so many duties that one can be assigned when already on the facility like disinfecting, laundry, tending to resident other needs, tidying up closet,etc sending staff home when they show up after you have booked them for week is shear hustlers. Thais one hero lost for your facility. I would advice the facility ED to reviewer shift cancellation policy. SHOCKED AGENCY CAREGIVER

We were very happy with Addington Place when we unexpectedly needed an assisted living home nearby for a family member who could not live at home alone. All the staff, from nursing to administrative, were friendly, helpful, caring and competent. They adapted to our situation and did་a wonderful job. We are so thankful we found Addington Place of Johns Creek and highly recommend it.

A friend recently moved into Addington at Johns Creek and simply LOVES it! The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and helpful while ALWAYS smiling! After living at a couple of other senior living facilities she has never felt so immediately comfortable and "at home". Her attitude has improved and she is finally looking forward to another bright tomorrow during this transitional phase.

My parents moved to Addington Place of Johns Creek in the fall as a stroke had limited my father's mobility and their care needs had increased. After touring multiple facilities, I felt like Addington Place was the best fit for them. The facility really feels like home. There is a communal dining area, a piano, fireplace, and even a library. The residents spend a lot of time interacting in the common areas and not just shut up in their rooms. Mary, our tour guide, is a gem! I could tell that she truly loves her job and the people she helps. She gave a great deal of support to our family as Mom and Dad transitioned from an apartment to an assisted living environment. Quentin, the director, is invested in each resident, and the support staff always has a kind word and a smile for my parents. There are so many activities available for those living at Addington! They host area musicians and speakers providing entertainment for residents. They play bingo and do crafts. I also appreciate the transportation to the grocery and appointments. I have great peace of mind knowing that they are no longer on their own and are being cared for. I am very pleased with Addington Place.

I moved my mother into Addington place in December. Staff is great and very helpful. Staff helped in setting up cable and internet, catering to her diabetic needs, and providing assistance with medication. Whenever I need a question a question answered or need someone to check on her, I can call and they are always their to help. My mother loves it. I rarely get a chance to speak with because she is always doing something, the social atmosphere is great for residents.

I recommend Addington place of Johns Creek to anyone needing care for their mother or father or family member at that. Quinton Jones the GM is very nice and he welcomes you right on if you need anything he will be there to help. Devin the wellness director is so sweet love her to death! If you have any problems or concerns for your room or for the building Jamal takes really good care of that building and the residents as well. They have a really good team and really good caregivers that really show compassionate about their job. The building is very clean, the meals are great and everyone is always joyful! Addington Place of Johns Creek is not just another assisted living facility, it is a loving home. My father moved in here over the summer due to some medical complications and he absolutely loves living here. From the day I walked in, and spoke with Mary, I knew this would be a good choice for my dad. The entire staff are some of the nicest, most caring people I’ve had the privilege of knowing. They have helped me tremendously, while I figure out how to navigate this next stage of my father’s life. Without their help I can’t imagine how much harder this could have been. The residents are the best, so kind to one another and really treat each other like an extended family. They have tons of activities and social events to keep residents busy, from holiday celebrations to live music, or trivia night (my father’s favorite). I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone that is entering this stage of life.

I moved my mom to Addington Place of Johns Creek two months ago from an independent living facility as my mom's needs became more elevated. I had checked out a few other places and this was the place we chose right from the moment we walked in.It was a warm and homey feeling .We met Mary Green who told us all about the place, showed us around, and introduced us to a lot of the residents. She treated each one as a member of her own family. We also met the Gm,Quentin Jones, and Devin Smith, the wellness Director. They seemed to also have a strong bond with the residents and reacted to them as if they were members of their own family as well, which made us decide that this was the place for mom.The staff and caregivers are all excellent and super nice. I most definitely recommend Addington Place of Johns Creek!
