My MIL has been at Addington Place of Johns Creek since March 2024. At first we were concerned as in her words, "I am not a joiner." She has always been her own person and never got too involved in things. WELL, since moving to Addington Place that has changed! She now participates in the exercise class offered every single day and actually looks forward to it. She has made new friends and is happy in her new surroundings. The staff is super friendly and we are happy to have her in such a warm and friendly place so close to us! Kudos to Addington Place of JC and to the staff for welcoming my sweet MIL!

Moving a loved one into an assisted living facility is never easy, but the staff at Addington Place made the transition as easy as it could be for my aunt. Everyone there knows her name and has welcomed her so well, and been patient as she is adjusted to living in a new place. She has friends and family visit often, and we are all glad that we chose Addington!

I can't express enough how grateful I am for Addington Place of Johns Creek. My dad has been a resident here for the past year, and the care he receives is absolutely exceptional. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff at Addington are not only professional but also incredibly compassionate. They treat my dad like family, and it's evident that they genuinely care about his well-being and love what they do. The facility itself is, fresh, clean, and well-maintained. My dad is kept busy with a wide range of activities, enjoys the social events, the food, and the cozy atmosphere. Moreover, I appreciate the excellent communication from the staff. They keep me informed about my dad's health and any updates regarding his care. It brings me peace of mind knowing that he's in such capable hands. Addington place of johns creek is now a breath of fresh air. My mother in law had been at the community for over 8 years and there has been a ton of management changes but the new team of management( Peppur, Hakim, Alberto and Priscilla) are exceptional. Mom can’t stop talking about how awesome the team is. They have implemented new and exciting activities for the residents and their families. The house dog is just phenomenal, Sadie is warming and very friendly. The community is now family-oriented and the team are really involved. I can’t wait to see what they planned!!!!

While looking for assisted living for mom, I came across Addington Place of Johns Creek. The place is light and airy and very very clean. The staff are extremely warm, friendly and very knowledgeable and highly skilled. They make you feel like one big happy family. Great nursing and caregivers for assisted living and memory care. Top notch! This place has great activities and entertainment. Superb hair salon and nail service. A great new Chef with an exceptional culinary background that makes nutritious and delicious meals. So if you’re looking for assisted living or memory care, look no further. I highly recommend Addington Place of Johns Creek- you are HOME!

CONS. The caregivers are friendly and awesome. Residents are happy and content, Great clean environment. PROS. However for agency caregivers be warned, !! Your shift will be cancelled a few minutes before the shift or when you are on the shift. I drove 1 and a half hours to Addington place of Johns creek to be their care hero for the day and provide care to their residents on a 7 AM to 7 PM shift per the facilities request on agency post because they were short staffed. I had to wake up at 4.30 am get my kids up and drop them to a private sitter for the day as planned, as I am a single mother, in order get on the road in the rain before GA traffic. I made it there 15 min before my time 7am and was actually the first employee to report on the shift before even facility employees. started my shift and other employee came in who was awesome and we served breakfast to residents together starting the day well. About an hour into the shift,@ 8.30 am the DON came in the memory care where I was working and stated I needed to go home as they have enough staff for the day! Just like that, no consideration of one life, input , time, inconvenience and besides loosing my 12 hours and projected pay for the day to pay my baby sitter. Additionally since I was booked by their facility it meant I lost the day of work and could not pick anywhere else. please note the DON was unapologetic about it and did not want to here any of my side as she stated she understand how agency work and they can cancel any time and will only pay 4 hrs. out of 12 hrs which is not right,but they won't need my help for the day. This was shocking too early to comprehend for me the whys??? This made me rethink working for them again. Infact i had stepped up and worked in the facility over 24th ans 25th Christmas eve and day and worked to cover for the need of care . It dawned on me how mean and inhuman someone can be just 4 days later into the new year and forgot I helped on Xmass. Now here I was been dismissed and sent home like a useless piece of unworthy helper with no apology or sense of compassion. This made me wonder how many of us hardworking caring compassionate agency caregiver heroes who go to facilities to help staff the floor when short and are turned back after driving for miles. This decision making was not thought through. There are so many duties that one can be assigned when already on the facility like disinfecting, laundry, tending to resident other needs, tidying up closet,etc sending staff home when they show up after you have booked them for week is shear hustlers. Thais one hero lost for your facility. I would advice the facility ED to reviewer shift cancellation policy. SHOCKED AGENCY CAREGIVER

We were very happy with Addington Place when we unexpectedly needed an assisted living home nearby for a family member who could not live at home alone. All the staff, from nursing to administrative, were friendly, helpful, caring and competent. They adapted to our situation and did་a wonderful job. We are so thankful we found Addington Place of Johns Creek and highly recommend it.

A friend recently moved into Addington at Johns Creek and simply LOVES it! The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and helpful while ALWAYS smiling! After living at a couple of other senior living facilities she has never felt so immediately comfortable and "at home". Her attitude has improved and she is finally looking forward to another bright tomorrow during this transitional phase.

I am a resident at Addington Place of Johns Creek and the staff here are very nice. Everyone does their job and they do it very well. All staff are hired for certain departments and they have been trained well to execute their work. The community was recently renovated and it looks very nice - new floors, paint, furniture, etc. I always feel very safe and know that if I need any help, the staff will be there for me. I love living here and so thankful this is my home.

Addington Place of Johns Creek is not just another assisted living facility, it is a loving home. My father moved in here over the summer due to some medical complications and he absolutely loves living here. From the day I walked in, and spoke with Mary, I knew this would be a good choice for my dad. The entire staff are some of the nicest, most caring people Ive had the privilege of knowing. They have helped me tremendously, while I figure out how to navigate this next stage of my fathers life. Without their help I cant imagine how much harder this could have been. The residents are the best, so kind to one another and really treat each other like an extended family. They have tons of activities and social events to keep residents busy, from holiday celebrations to live music, or trivia night (my fathers favorite). I honestly cant say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone that is entering this stage of life.

I moved my mother into Addington place in December. Staff is great and very helpful. Staff helped in setting up cable and internet, catering to her diabetic needs, and providing assistance with medication.Whenever I need a question a question answered or need someone to check on her, I can call and they are always their to helpMy mother loves it. I rarely get a chance to speak with because she is always doing something, the social atmosphere is great for residents.

I recommend Addington place of Johns Creek to anyone needing care for their mother or father or family member at that. Quinton Jones the GM is very nice and he welcomes you right on if you need anything he will be there to help. Devin the wellness director is so sweet love her to death! If you have any problems or concerns for your room or for the building Jamal takes really good care of that building and the residents as well. They have a really good team and really good caregivers that really show compassionate about their job. The building is very clean, the meals are great and everyone is always joyful! They have bingo,live entertainment, movies, snacks and more!I give this place of 5 ?? ?? ?? ?? ??!Love, ASHLEY ?

My parents moved to Addington Place of Johns Creek in the fall as a stroke had limited my father's mobility and their care needs had increased. After touring multiple facilities, I felt like Addington Place was the best fit for them. The facility really feels like home. There is a communal dining area, a piano, fireplace, and even a library. The residents spend a lot of time interacting in the common areas and not just shut up in their rooms. Mary, our tour guide, is a gem! I could tell that she truly loves her job and the people she helps. She gave a great deal of support to our family as Mom and Dad transitioned from an apartment to an assisted living environment. Quentin, the director, is invested in each resident, and the support staff always has a kind word and a smile for my parents. There are so many activities available for those living at Addington! They host area musicians and speakers providing entertainment for residents. They play bingo and do crafts. I also appreciate the transportation to the grocery and appointments. I have great peace of mind knowing that they are no longer on their own and are being cared for. I am very pleased with Addington Place.

Mom lived here for 3 years until she recently passed away. She enjoyed all the activities, the staff and the lovely residents. It is a wonderful place to live. Thank you Addington of Johns Creek for taking such good care of my mom.

I moved my mom to Addington Place of Johns Creek two months ago from an independent living facility as my mom's needs became more elevated. I had checked out a few other places and this was the place we chose right from the moment we walked in.It was a warm and homey feeling .We met Mary Green who told us all about the place, showed us around, and introduced us to a lot of the residents. She treated each one as a member of her own family. We also met the Gm,Quentin Jones, and Devin Smith, the wellness Director. They seemed to also have a strong bond with the residents and reacted to them as if they were members of their own family as well, which made us decide that this was the place for mom.The staff and caregivers are all excellent and super nice. I most definitely recommend Addington Place of Johns Creek!
